Peace had settled over Ninjago, but it was a fragile peace. As Mr. E and the Ninjago Team enjoyed a period of tranquility, a new threat began to emerge, one that even Lord Garmadon had not foreseen.

A group of powerful dark sorcerers, known as the Shadow Enclave, had risen to power, seeking to unleash a darkness even greater than Lord Garmadon's. Their dark magic threatened to consume Ninjago, and the Ninjago Team, alongside Mr. E and Harumi, were once again called into action.
