Chapter 5

|||Wednesday|||

"Put this on!" They twins say handing Adelynn  a bag.
"What is it?"
"Your outfit for today" Kyoya said
"Who made it?" Adelynn said
"We designed it." The twins say grinning.
"Then I'll try it." Adelynn smiles and walks into the changing room to change. The moment she has her back to the curtain her smile drops and she sighs and rubs between her eyes. Her eyes wonder over to the maid uniform.
'Going undercover to go undercover. Makes sense, I was a maid in France, but never a Host. Am I just walking around and handing out food? Or am I hosting?' I wonder if anything happens. I'm not so keen on hosting.' Adelynns thinks as she pulls the uniform on.
"Haruhi!" Adelynn calls.
"Yes?"
"Can you come here please?" She asks.
"Haruhi can't go in there she's a boy!" Tamaki scream, Adelynn pokes her head out and looks at him with a deadpan look.
"She's a girl." Adelynn said.
"Well done boss." The twins say.
"It doesn't matter, she new the moment she met me." Haruhi said walking into the changing room
"If you can't tell she's a girl by first glance, then you're a idiot." Adelynn said bluntly and hears someone fall over. Haruhi sees Adelynn.
"What do you think?" Adelynn asks, wanting another opinion.
"Well... you look cute." Haruhi unsurely said.
"Then I'll wear it." Adelynn said putting on a black pair of shorts.
"Why are you putting them on?"
"Well, this dress is a bit short and if I fall over or someone looks up my skirt then I'll be wearing shorts. And they might end up with memory loss." Adelynn averts her eyes saying the last part.
"Can you distract the boys?" Adelynn asks as she looks at her self in the full mirror.
"Umm. . . I think they're all waiting out there." Haruhi said poking her head out, Adelynn walks up behind her and puts her head above, and guess what? all the host were waiting.
"Are you done?" Hikaru asks
"We could help you?" Both twins ask.
"I don't think so." Adelynn said and Haruhi walks out from the changing room..
"Take your hair down." Haruhi said smiling. Adelynn turns around and pulls her hair band out and looks in the mirror. 'She stands up straight and looks herself over.
'I'm missing something. . . My strap.' Adelynn thinks and walks over to her uniform and pulls out her leg strap and gun and pulls up her skirt to adjust the tightness. She looks back up and plasters on a smile, putting up her wall, taking a deep breath and puts her mind to think like a high school girl. Technically she is, just undercover. She turns to the curtain and pulls it open and looks at the boys reactions.
Tamaki is too red for words trying to cover it up with his hand, Kyoya despite the smirk has a little blush, Hikaru and Karou both have a blush on their faces staring wide eyed as well as Honney-Senpai, and Mori looks at Adelynn then looks at every thing but her. Adelynn grabs the bottom of the dress and plays with it looking at Karou and Hikaru.
"Does it not suit me?" Adelynn asks
"Rose-chan you look really cute, right Takashi?" Honney said
"Yeah" Mori said.
"It looks better on you than we thought." Hikaru said rubbing his chin getting over the fact of how adorable she looks.
"You look so cute!" Tamaki said lifting Adelynn up and spinning her around. Takashi moves to get her but Tamaki drops Adelynn.
"You didn't have to drop me that hard, all I did was poke you." Adelynn points out. Tamaki takes a big gulp.
"Wait don't tell me-" "That the Boss is tickleish?" The twins say. Tamaki backs away slowly. Karou quickly pins Tamaki down whilst Hikaru tickles him. Tamaki laughs his head off whilst the rest of the club just watch.
"Shouldn't you guys change?"
"Yes, we should or we'll be late." Kyoya said shutting his notebook and all the boy make there way to the changing room.
|||Outside|||
"Welcome~" eight voices introduce.
"Which cup would my Princess want her tea in today, the folie, the worseter, or perhaps the suzie-cooper gardainya?"
"Beautiful, these are British antiques aren't they? Which one do you like Tamaki-sama?" Tamaki then takes the girls hand and looks into her eyes.
"Well, none of them compare to my Princess." the girl gains a blush on her face. At the Twins table.
"Well I don't know what to say." She reply's.
"You mean you've never been to covant garden?" Karou ask
"No, all of are antiques are from portabelo road."
"I think you'd like covant Garden, all are Victorian pieces are from there." Hikaru said moving his elbow and knocking Karous drink on his hand.
"Karou." Hikaru said gently graving his siblings hand and lifting his burnt finger to his mouth. The girls at there table lean forward to get a closer look as well as growing blushes.
"Honestly Karou, you have to be more careful. So from now on keep your eyes on me, okay?"
"Yes Hikaru." Karou said slowly.
"Oh, I can't take it, it's over whelming." a girl said covering her eyes.
"You have too watch this. You never know when it will happen again!" The girl sat next to her persuaded. Kyoya moves over.
"Your absolutely right madomaelle. All beauty is fleeting. Just look at these cherrie blossoms, you'll never be able to see them this vibrant again. And that's why, I've compiled these picture books that contains photos that capture the beauty of each passing day. Coincidentally I have similar books of the other Hosts as well. And if you ladies are interested in collecting all of the then I'll give you a discount." Kyoya said to the ladies.
"Well now we know how the Host club makes extra money." the twin say
"But I have to wonder-" Hikaru starts.
"-when did he take all the pictures."
"Haruhi, how are you doing? Are you having a good time?" Tamaki asks calmly.
"Tamaki-senpai." Haruhi said confused.
"The flower viewing reception is going over quiet well. But rather so, it's rather daunting to spend more time being admired than it is to do the admiring." Tamaki said sparkling.
"Oh wow senpai, you blooming more ways the." Haruhi said sweat dropping.
"You notice, today my beauty is quiet splenderous, I'm in full bloom. I bet you'll fall for me soon." Tamaki said with hearts flouting around him. 'I swear, this guy must live his life without knowing the hardships of this world.'
"Tamaki, leave Haruhi alone and get back to work." Adelynn said walking past with a tray of tea and cupcakes above her head in one hand for her guests.

Adelynn and Haruhi are talking and the twins pop up.
"So Adelynn, Haruhi. What elective courses are you taking for this term?" They ask.
"How about conversational French?" Karou asks.
"I dunno."
"I've already aced that." Adelynn said. They just give her a questionable look.
"So are princess can speak French? That's wonderful." Tamaki praises saying the last but in French .
"She already getting A's in all her classes. You are very clever Mis Rose." Kyoya said reading his notebook.
"But I don't know what to take now, what do you three take?" Adelynn asks the twins and Haruhi.
"We should all take French!" Hikaru said
"After all-" Karou starts
"-We are in the same class" they Finish together, Adelynn notices Tamaki sulking about something and Kyoya shooting him down. And the fact of the 'Mommy Daddy thing'
"But won't French be easy?" Adelynn asks.
"For us it will be, but what about Haruhi, thought about her?" They said in unison, holding Haruhi shoulder in a soothing manner.
"If you take it Haruhi, I might take it again." Adelynn said
"When did you do French?" Haruhi asks
"In my first year in middle school, I finnished three languages." Adelynn said. 'I never realised she is so clever' the three thought staring at Adelynn as she looks at the class sheet.
"Haruhi, Adelynn! I want you two to stop hanging around with those shady twins!" Tamaki shouts grabbing both girls.
"Who you callin' shady?" Hikaru argues
"Yeah, take a good look at your self boss!" Karou shouts. Then Tamaki starts going into a rampage about how we can't hide Haruhis gender.
"You don't have to rush things, she's going to be found out soon enough." Hikaru said
"Physical exams are the day after tomorrow." Karou points out.
"Physical exams?" Haruhi questions. The whole Host Club realised this and all stare at Haruhi.
"That's right I forgot all about it." Kyoya said looking through his notebook.
"Then that means...there's no doubt.. There going to know that I'm girl." Haruhi said not really bothered by it as for the rest of the Host, they all got a lightning bolt. Adelynn just smirks at their idioticy, knowing exactly how this is gonna play out.
|||The Next Day|||
Tamaki sits in his chair imagining him and Haruhi in his mind theatre.
"He must be having a great daydream." Honey-senpai smiles.
"He's kind of creeping me out." Hilary States. Tamaki jumps of off his chair and points his finger at Hikaru.
"Envious Hikaru. This is all part of my strategy, while you wasted time blinded by your jealousy, I've foreseen the outcome of this sharade. This anime is obviously a romantic school comedy, Haruhi and I are the main characters so that means we are love interests." Tamaki said rather pleased with himself.
"Yeah, then what are we?" the twins ask.
"You boys are the homosexual supporting cast, so please make sure you don't cross this line." Tamaki said making a dark unhappy aura surround them. Just then Adelynn sneaks through the door and taps him on the shoulder, scaring him.
"What would that make me?" Adelynn said holding the box she's carrying tighter to her chest in an innocent manner.
"If my calculations are correct Adeline, you will end up with one of us." Kyoya said sending lightning at Tamaki.
"Don't choose them, choose a commoner boy instead. These men will corrupt you! Daddy said No!" Tamaki shouts shaking Adelynns shoulders but she stood there with a blank expression, then scowled at Tamaki as she slaps his hand off her shoulders.
"I've got a present for Haruhi, I gonna go find her." Adelynn grumbles.
"Anyway boss." Hikaru said seriously
" I don't think you get it" Karou adds
"If word gets out Haru-chans a boy, then she won't be able to be in the Host Club anymore, and Rose-chan will leave as well." Honney-Senpai points out. It at that second, it dawns on Tamaki.
"But if Haru-chan starts wearing girls clothes, I bet she'll be even cuter than she already is." Honey points out.
"She dressed like a normal girl in middle school right? She must have been pretty popular with all the boys."
"Yes, according to my investigative reports Haruhi would get confessed their undieing love to her at least once a month and Adelynn once a week." Kyoya inform them.
"Oh I see, so the boss wouldn't be able to get near to her." Karou said.
"But we'd be able to seeming we're in the same class as her all day long." Hikaru said as Tamakis depression increase as tears appear in his eyes.
"Sorry I'm late." Haruhi said opening the door with Adelynn trailing behind her. Tamaki runs up to her and grabs her shoulders.
"Don't you worry Haruhi, were determined to keep your secret. No one will find out you're a girl during tomorrow's physical exams. So please promise that you'll stay are beloved secret princess." Tamaki shouts. Haruhi just blinks at him.
"Sure." She blankly agrees.
"I think both of us would be a little peeved if we had to watch boys flirt with her like we do with Adelynn." Hikaru said
"Than that settles it." Karou said
"Listen up club members!" Tamaki shouts to all the Hosts."Tomorrow position your self at position A and wait to receive orders." Tamaki announces. Haruhi stares at them and Adelynn reaches her hand to tap Haruhis shoulder but stops when Haruhi wacks her fist on her palm.
"I've got it!" Haruhi said getting everyone's attention. "You are worried because if people find out I'm a girl then I won't be able to pay back my debt." Haruhi said in realisation.
'Far from it, though good hypothesis'
" My balence is 5,000,333,032 yen." Haruhi calculates out loud causing Tamaki and the twins to sweat drop. "Well I guess I will have to find another way to pay you back." And Haruhi starts laughing.
"Do something, the subject doesn't seem to have any motivation!" The twins complain to Tamaki.
"Ugh why did we get stuck with such a difficult heroine?" Tamaki mumbles."Are you saying that you hate being a host!? That you hate being apart of this club!?" Tamaki asks pointing his finger at her.
"To be honest I have to say yes." Haruhi said not caring, sending Tamaki into his emo corner. "Well it isn't that bad but if it gets out I'm a girl, there's nothing I can do about it." Haruhi said rubbing the back of her neck. 
"She doesn't seem care what ever happens." Hikaru states
"Well before we do anything else we have to find away to motivate her." Karou said and Mori gets an idea.
"Fancy tuna!" Mori said sending the revolution to everyone.
"Oh that's right, you didn't get the chance to eat any in last episodes party did you?" Tamaki said getting where everyone's going with this.
"Did you hear that? She's never had fancy tuna before, isn't that awful."
"She must have had a difficult childhood." Karou agrees with his brother.
"If only Haruhi could stay in the Host club, then she could eat all the food she wants." Honney said Usa-chan.
"What are you talk-" Haruhi starts
"Haruhi!" Adelynn shouts getting everyone's attention."I made you something!" Adelynn said smiling handing over the box to Haruhi. She looks over Haruhis shoulder and glares at the club. 'Just because I'm working doesn't mean I can't discipline them.' Haruhi just eyes the box."Open it. I know you'll love it!" Adelynn smiles at Haruhi, ignoring the curiosity of the club. Haruhi opens it and starts drooling.
"What's in the box?" Hikaru asks
"Haruhis favourite. Fancy tuna." Adelynn said smirking at the boys as Haruhi stood behind her in pure bliss.
"Don't blackmail Haruhi!" Adelynn said staring holes into the boys and sending then cowering and shivers down Moris and Kyoyas back. Yeah, she's that scary.
"If you wanted her to do something, ask me to help." She said smiling and turns to Haruhi. And puts on a sad smile.
"Haruhi?" Adelynn said sadly and gets Haruhis attention as well as a nod."Will you stay my friend?" Adelynn asks looking into Haruhis eyes.
"Of course Adelynn." Haruhi said taking a step closer in worry.
"So do you promise to stay with me?" Adelynn asks tilting her head.
"Definatly." Haruhi replys.
"Pinky promise?" Adelynn asks holding out her pinky to Haruhi. The rest of the group give them skeptical looks. The moment they hook and shake with them, Adelynn gives Harhuhi a devilish smirk.
"That means you have to stay with me in the Host Club." Adelynn said and then it dawns on Haruhi what she did.
"You are the devil." Haruhi said giving a huffle.
"She promises to stay." Adelynn announces giving a big closed eye smile.
"Very crafty Miss Rose." Kyoya said writing in his book.
"What is this Pinky Promise? Is it a commoners thing?" Tamaki shouts excitedly.
"It's a promise two people make and they have to keep it otherwise there's a penalty." Adeline said to Tamaki. "Well my version anyway." Adelynn adds
"But what if she does break it?" Hikaru asks.
"Then I can tell people her secrets, or I can do something to her and she can't stop me." Adelynn smiles sending shivers down Haruhis neck 'she could be related to the Twins' Haruhi thinks and shoves another piece of tuna in her mouth sending her into Heaven, forgetting about Adelynns mischief.
"Is it good?" Adelynn asks
"It's amazing" Haruhi said making weird noises.
"Haruhi, please don't make them noises." Adelynn asks rubbing her nose, but Haruhi ignores her.
"Can I have some Rose-chan?" Honey-senpai asks.
"You have to asks Haruhi." Adelynn replys. Haruhi gives Honney a piece of sushi.
"Wow Rose-chan these are great!" Honney said eating a piece happily.
"Yes, surprisingly they are." Kyoya said examining a piece before popping it in his mouth.
"Wow thanks Kyoya, that's the best compliment I've ever heard." Adelynn said dripping with sarcasm and rolling her eyes.
"So have you decided what you are picking for next semester?" Karou asks Adelynn.
"Umm, I'm not sure. I'm taking Conversational French but I'm not sure about my other subjects."
"What do you want to be when you older?" Kyoya asks.
"I've already done everything for my job." Adelynn said smiling to herself and plopping herself down on the sofa. 'I'm not stupid, I'm not giving him any information.'
"You didn't answer my question?" Kyoya said
"I know." Adelynn reply looking at him.
"Why don't you tell us? You now everything about us." Kyoya remarks
"Yes, but you guys told me willingly. As well as its obvious from the way you act and dress." Adeline said
"I don't understand Rose-chan?" Honney asks sitting next to her.
"Well you have to ask why? Why does someone act the way they do? What happened to them to make them how they are now? Why are there ties tied like that? Like with Kyoya." Adeline said to Honney and jesters to Kyoya.
"You mean you know why I'm like this?" Kyoya asks with a smug look on his face.
"Well yeah, I'm pretty good at reading people just from one conversation."
"Well tell me about myself then, if you can." Kyoya said testing her.
"Well you fault if ya' don't like what ya' hear..." Adelynn said looking at him, then understanding that he won't be satisfied until she starts.
"Well despite Tamaki's position as the President, Kyoya is the true director, playing the role of a puppet-master behind the scenes thus earning him the nickname of "The Shadow King". As the third son of the wealthy and noble Ootori family, he has been brought up to believe that he must surpass his two elder brothers if he wishes to please his father. He works extremely hard to meet his strict father's high expectations of him so that he may be considered as the next family patriarch. He often realizes things Tamaki or the others are too naive to understand, keeping the information to himself for his own amusement or to watch things play out in order to determine how best to help the other members. He is the "Mommy" to Tamaki's "Daddy" position in the club, he sometimes uses the title to his advantage. Would you like me to carry on Kyoya?" Adelynn said looking to Kyoya who is having a nervous twitch.
"Wow! You sounded like you were reading from a book!" Honey-senpai compliments.
"Anything else on Kyoya?" Hikaru asks wanting to know more about Kyoya to annoy him.
"Well Kyoya is calm, logical, and has superior intelligence. He also can come across as rather detached, and sometimes threatening when need be. He is a diligent secretary for the club and tracks continuous data on the club's guests and fortunes through his tablet or notebook.  He is very fond of his best friend, Tamaki Suoh, giving him free rein when it comes to club matters. He gets along with Haruhi and they often chat, both being level-headed people of equivalent intelligence and low emotionality." Haruhi nods to this agreeing with Adelynn. Adelynn looks to Kyoya who is still twitching.
"Even though He can act like he's better than everyone else and he only does things to his own benefit, that isn't the truth." Everyone looks to Adelynn waiting for her to finish. She gets up and walks over to Kyoya.
"But I couldn't ask for a better boy 'Mommy'." Adelynn said smiling at him and laughing slightly closing her eyes, when she opens them she, and only she, can see a small blush on his face.
"Oh My God!" Adelynn said grabbing his cheeks."Your ill!" Adelynn whispers over him. Then she remembers that she isn't alone and slowly looks to everyone.
"Hahaha~" Adelynn nervously laughs , getting off Kyoya and they both have a light blush on their faces from embarrassment.
"I have ashamed my self with the shadow king." Adelynn mumbles hanging her head in shame.

'And I just acted out of terms.'
