Chapter 17

Adelynn stretches as she lies on the sofa in the club room. The club just finished and everyone was lounging around the club room. Adelynn sat next to Haruhi as the twins where squished in on either of their sides. Kyoya was sat with Mori and Honey was sat in his bed, having a nap. Tamaki was no where to been seen.
"How's it going at home?" Adelynn asks Hikaru, who was sat to her left.
"It's annoying." He said agitatedly as he glares at the thought of it.
"Mum got more body guards and updated the system, plus our curfews till 10 instead of 12." Karou explains as he leans forward.
"That's an alright time. I'd be happy with that what sort of stuff would you need to do at 12 at night any ways?" Adelynn asks as she watches Haruhi scribble away in her class book, finishing off homework.
"Nothing, it's nice knowing that our parents don't trust us." Hikaru complains.
"Hikaru, Karou, I couldn't help but hear about your security problems." Kyoya said aloud.
"And?" Hikaru said impatiently, obviously annoyed about the current subject.
"My parents have been on insisting on having body guards lead me everywhere, is that the case with you too Mori-Senpai."
"Yeah." Mori briefly agrees before his eyes wonder back over to Honey.
"Wouldn't you be pleased with your parents concern for your safety?" Adelynn asks as she furrows her eyebrows. At least their families knew one thing to do right.
"It's annoying. We can't go out without someone watching us." Hikaru huffs as he leans back into the sofa.
"I'd be happy if my dad did that for me, it means he cares." Haruhi comments.
"Yeah, I agree with Haruhi." Adelynn nods. But her parents know she can take care of herself.
"You two are just commoners, you wouldn't understand." Hikaru said as he twitched in his seat. Adelynn pouts at him and nudges his leg with hers. His lip twitches upwards but instantly go down again but he doesn't stop himself from nudging him back. A grin makes its way on her face as they continues to nudge each other and a real giggle escapes her lips but she quickly slaps her hand over her mouth and tries to contain her laugh.
"Did you-" "-just giggle?" The twins ask. Adelynn's face flushes as she grabs Haruhi and hides her face into her back.
"No!" She shouts but becomes muffled in Haurhis blazer.
"Adelynn please get off, I'm trying to complete my homework." Haruhi said but doesn't do anything to move her.
"Aww, look-" "-Adelynns blushing!" The twins coo as Kyoya smirks in amusement and Mori looks over in interest.
"Not blushing." She pouts as she crosses her arms. The twins squeeze in next to her and nudge her legs with theirs. She grins but tries to hide but as their legs continues to touch hers she grins brightly and grabs both their heads in a head lock and squishes their heads. Both faces go red at the close proximity to her breasts as they try to brake free.
"Trying to embarrass me, huh?" She asks with a smirk.
"Adelynn, please don't embarrass the boys too much, I don't want to have to buy any new couch cushions." Kyoya said, rather annoyed at them at this moment.
"Is Kyoya jealous?" She teases as she brings Hikarus and Karous faces clothed to her chest. "It's not like they can see anything? It's just lumps of fat." She thinks out loud as she releases her grip on the red headed twins. They where flustered to say the least. She stands up and brushes off none existent dust off her trousers with a real smile plastered across her face. Kyoya's glasses flash.
"Why are you so happy this morning Mrs Rose?" He asks. She turns to look at him over her shoulder and her eyes widen in surprise that slowly turn into confusion. She laughs nervously.
"I guess it's because I got sweets this morning." She laughs as she hugs herself. She puts on a smile and walks over to the cart holding the cakes and takes one to eat. She turns her back to them all as she eats. The moment the sweetness of the cake touches her tongue she wanted to spit it out. The feeling in her stomach wouldn't leave.

The real reason she was so happy?

The real reason?

She didn't even want to admit it. She rubs her head as she forcefully swallows the soft sponge of the cake.

The real reason was because she forgot her aim, why she was at the school. It had vanished from her mind and she thought she had a normal life in a normal place with her normal friends and there wasn't a reason to being their friend except that she liked them. Then that blasted Shadow King had to ask her why and she remembered. She was basically using them. She knew what it was like to be used just for your standing. She knew what it was like to be living a lie. She knew what it was like to be abandoned.

That was her life.

One Big Lie.

She looks down at her cake with sorrow and sighs before smiling to herself and going over to Haruhi. Then she remembered why she was friends with Haruhi.

'She could be targeted because she was friends with them. Causing her to be a potential target therefore Adelynn having to protect her too.' So even though she tried to brush it off in attempt to lie and say it's just because Haruhi wasn't in her job description, she still was. Adelynn sucks it up and smiles as she gives her hand to Haruhi and helps her up.
"Why don't we study in the Library? I'm sure it will be nicer in their." Adelynn gives Haruhi a smile that no one can resist and they both leave.
"Adelynn's been acting rather strange." Kyoya said aloud.
"Yeah. We should do something to get her mind of it." Mori-senpai said, surprising everyone. Kyoya smirks as he pushes up his glasses, the light reflecting with a glint from the sun.

Adelynn adjust her cardigan kimono over her red bikini with ruffles hanging down from the top half. She let her hair loose over her shoulder. She takes in a deep breath through her mouth. 'This is no different than that time I serenaded that Mafia's son. Of course I'm not in a corset. . . Or have multiple weapons on me.' Adelynn stretches her arms and walks outside over to Haruhi
"Hi Haruhi!" Adelynn smiles.
"Cover yourself up Adelynn!" Tamaki shouts as he runs over to her and blocks the view of her body from the twins. Adelynn looks at him blankly and lifts her hand up and flicks him on the forehead.
"If you want to be useful go get Haruhi a drink. I'm sure she's sweating in all those layers." Adelynn said blankly before turning her back to her blond haired Senpai and watches as Honey walks over.
"B-but-"
"So you want Haruhi to get heat stroke?" Adelynn asks as she places a finger to her chin, cocks her hip and puts her other arm under her chest. Tamaki suddenly jumps up and runs over to the bar whilst shouting about getting his daughter a drink.
"I just look cuter this way you know!" She hears Honey say. Her head snaps down to him and she looks at him in curiosity with a raised eyebrow.
"You right, those bunnies are kinda cute." Haruhi said as she watches Honey prance away.
"He's so innocent." The twins say in unison as they place their elbows on Adelynns shoulders.
"You guys are dumber than I thought." Adelynn mumbles as they hear the sound of a generator.
"No way! You've got it all wrong!" Renge shouts. One of the huts open up and Renge appears on her platform. She laughs loudly as she appears in a black bikini and a purple umbrella.
"How does she do that? It's like the rig follows us." Haruhi said as she sweat drops.
"That outfits pretty impressive." Hikaru said.
"What's with the tattoo on your stomach?" Karou asks.
"Oh that, you don't recognise it? I'm cosplaying." Renge points out.
"Yeah, as who?"
"Lala~"
"Lala? As in the Manga magazine?" Karou asks. Adelynn blanks the conversation and walks over to Kyoya, picking up one of the drinks on the table. Kyoya looks over the top of his book at her, and she catches his eyes and furrows her eyebrows at him in annoyance. Adelynn stands under the shade of the umbrella with her hip cocked and her left arm under her chest, right clutching her drink as she sips on that straw. The cold drink felt nice against the small pin pricks in her hand. She thought about how she got here and exactly how she got the marks. Surely enough if they just asked she wouldn't of been so stupid.

Adelynn was walking out from class, her bag hung over her shoulder as she ignored all the stares and giggles she got from passing groups. She would send them smiles and small waves every now and then, earning squeals from them. She turns a corner and let's out the breath she was holding in. She walks outside the building with a small frown and a bored look as she walks up to the benches by the maze. She places her bag down on the bench and roots through it for her notebook and some food. Then she feels the stare on her back. She keeps the same face on but her mind races with thoughts. She removes her tablet from her bag and holds it up. She didn't click the button, leaving the screen black and she moved it so it would reflect whatever was over her shoulder. She saw a tall figure move quickly from over her shoulder and her heart beat speeds up. To the right was where she just came from and girls were passing by, giggling and chatting. She had to get somewhere so that no one could see her. She drops her tablet into her bag and slung it over her shoulder quickly and walks into the maze calmly. She walks down different paths, taking mental notes of each turn. She then hears russerling. She grits her teeth and her hands grab onto the branches of the rose bush. The thorns digging into her hands as she pulls herself up. She then squats as she sits on top of the bushes.
"F*cking hell." She curse in English as she shakes her hand, trying to get rid of the pain as blood started to seep out from her new wounds. She walks across the bush lowly and then stands and runs, jumping over the gaps. She then heard russerling so she quickly turns mid jump and removes her gun from her inner pocket, crouching down and aiming her gun in the direction of the noises. Just like Haruhi would be a target, she would be too. Thanks to her undercover work no one new she was working for the government so they would think of her the same as Haruhi. To take and use as leverage against the powerful families. As Adelynn surveyed her surroundings, her gun aimed towards any sound. Then behind her the bush shook so she ran to jump over the gap to find the intruder and shoot him. But as she went to jump the rose bush snags onto her trousers and shoe lace so she got pulled back unexpected. Her eyes widen as her gun flies out her hand and falls onto a different path that she fell into. Her back hits her floor and she gasps for air as it was all mocked from her. One hand was placed on her chest as the other was lying next to her body, holes and dirt stained her clothes as the small amount of blood stains her chest as she held her hand over her heart. She calms down but then the moment she moves her hand away from her heart loud thumping footsteps are heard and a body was propelled onto her body. Hers and the unknown person body tumbled and span as they tried to get on top of her. Adelynn grunts as she pins down their shoulders onto the ground and her hands sting but just as she was about to hit her head against theirs, nocking them unconscious she hears a squeal. Her eyes open in shock as she opens her eyes to see her brown eyes senpai.
"M-Mitsuki!" She shouts in shock as she straddles his waist. She then feels large hands rap around her waist and her eyes widen even bigger in shock as Takashi holds her in his arms. Honey giggles, and laughs whilst saying.
"You look like a fallen princess!" He claps and jumps up and climbs onto Takashis back.
"What happened?" Takashi asks her as he starts walking out from the maze. Adelynn looks up at him in confusion as she feels the vibrations of his voice through his chest and onto her hands that were placed on his chest. A excuse fumbles from her mouth.
"I thought someone was chasing me so I ran into the maze and tripped on something. . . Then fell into the bush and landed on my back." She said as her cheeks turn red, to make it more believable.
"Be more careful." He instructs her. She nods slowly as she looks up at his face.
"A-any way, why were you two after me?" She asks.
"It's a secret!" Honey giggles. She looks around in confusion and let's out a breath. She got away with it and they didn't suspect anything. She'd have to come back afterwards and pick up her gun. But little did she know that one of her senpai's had already seen it hiding in the bush.

She watches as the twins spray Tamaki with water so she walks up behind Haruhi, placing a hand on her shoulder. Haruhi jumps and pouts as she looks up at Adelynn. Adelynn looks to her left and watches Honey sitting on Takashis back. Honey waves at her and she grins back and returns his wave. All of a sudden she was grabbed into Karous arms, squished up against Haruhi who was being held by Hikaru.
"Haruhi I think it's time we get married!" Hikaru said as they hopped around.
"And us two can Honeymoon in Otuni!" Karou said as he squishes Adelynn into him more. Adelynn twitches at the overwhelming feeling of pushing them booth into the pool, but the only thing she manages to say was
"Skin, skin, in touching his skin. Skin, skin." She rants quietly as her boobs where squished up against Karous arm. They watch as Tamaki started to boil.
"Do you really think I would let them marry you?!" Tamaki asks as he glares over his shoulder at the twins. Adelynn forgets her close proximity to Karou and watches Tamaki explode with amusement. Karou seems to take notice as he looks down to see his left arm in between Adelynns boobs and it ears turn red.
"Daddy says no!" Tamaki shouts as Adelynn quickly pulls Haruhi away to avoid both of them getting soaked. Haruhi sits down as Adelynn passes her a drink and Adelynn watches in amusement as the boys go into an all out war. Takashi stood before both girls tapping his head and Adelynn gives him a bright smile as she holds out a drink to him. He nods to her in thanks.
"Are either of you two going in the pool?" Adelynn asks Haruhi and Kyoya. They booth shoe there heads so she shrugs and removes her cardigan. Both of her Senpai's watch her as she shows more skin. How can they not? They are hormonal boys. She places her cardigan down on a chair and runs over to Honey and dangles her legs into the water.
"Are you coming in Rose-chan?" Honey asks her.
"In a second." She smiles innocently back as she feels the water rush over her legs. She then peers over her shoulder as she hears Tamaki shouting and sends him a questioning glance. She watches as he face plants into a podium.
"Well that's gotta hurt." She winces and watches as the eyes light up in interest. Adelynn then hears the sounds of waves and looks around in worry. Honey seemed oblivious to it as he continues to giggle and swim in the fast Rapids. Adelynn spots a massive waves and dives in quickly and grabs Mitsuki and pulls his back into her chest and faces away from the wave. Her back stung as she felt the wave impact on her back and every thing turned black from their on out.
