Big Brother Neko!

Adelynn groans to herself.

"The gun won't go straight." Sen complains, juggling the alliance on her belt.

"Adelynn, move your hands." Hikaru instructs in agitation. "Just leave it alone, this is the third time I've helped you."

"But it feels odd. I don't like it." Adelynn scowls at said pistol.

"There. And don't touch it." Hikaru instructs her as he stands, looking over her outfit. "You pull that off." He nods to himself.

"I think her dominant personality helps her." Karou adds as he stands next to his brother, mirroring his pose.

"What? You want me to be a dominatrix now?" Adelynn smirks, watching as their faces turn red.

"Adelynn, please refrain from speaking so vulgarly in the club room. What you do outside of school is up to you, but I do not want that language inside, understand?" Kyoya tells her, amusing his own belt. Adelynn shrugs with a grin.

"But what do you know? Some men find dominant woman quiet alluring." She grins mischievously. Kyoya leaves her be, knowing he's not going to get anywhere with her. "Haruhi!" Adelynn grins, walking over to the girl.

"Yes Adelynn?"

"Your tie is crooked." She reaches down and straightens it, then looks around the room for the blond idiot. She makes eye contact with him as she ajusts Haruhi's and watches as he pouts.

"Rose-chan looks like she's married to Haru-chan." Honey giggles and Adelynn sends Tamaki a teasing smile. 'Oh Homey, you know all the right things to say, don't you?'

"Adelynn, I didn't get any of the photos for last week." Kyoya chides, his notebook in hand.

"I'll send them to you later." She waves him off, walking over to the cakes and teas that sat on a trolley.

"I'm meant to be printing off-"

"Kyoya, darling, calm down." Adelynn grins, leaning against the trolley.

"You're acting stupidly today." Ross stares from behind her as Kyoya walks off to sort out Tamaki.

"Somethings off." Adelynn squints as she surveys the room. "You have your weapon, I had to change so I have none."

"I am a weapon."

"No, your an arrogant boy who gets on my nerves. Do you have a weapon?" Adelynn repeats.

"Yes, several." Adelynn nods as she peers out the window.

"I have a bad feeling about today, and it's not because of you for once."

"How can aristocratic lady as yourself act like a commoner? If id isn't know any better I'd think-"

"Shut it Pretty Boy." Adelynn sneers.

"Right back at ya' Darlin'." Ross scowls.

"Rose-chan!" Honey sings, making Adelynn smile down at his form that ran towards her. "Rama-chan wanted us to get ready by the door."

"Okay." Adelynn nods, walking towards the door. Honey smiles at her form then looks over his shoulder at Ross and gives him a sickly sweet smile, a giggle too, and skips over to Adelynn.

"Damn prat." Ross grumbles as he pushes the trolley to the edge of the room by the window. If Adelynn's hunch about today was right, then he'd have to keep an extra eye out for any suspicious characters. As Ross leans against the wall, he hears footsteps fastly approaching the door. He scowls deeply and inches his hand towards his gun on the inside of his blazer. Then the door creaks open and he grabs the handle.

"Welcome!" The host club greets in unison. Ross scrunches up his face and clicks his tongue.

"A f*cking child." He mutters and sides at one of the tables, facing the window with his back to the morons.

"Oh my, what an unusual young guest." Tanaka smiles. "Well, I'm glad you're here, my little lost kitty cat." Tamaki offers his hand to the girl. Adelynn scrunches up her nose. 'A kid? How old even is she? 5, 6 maybe? I can't deal with such a small child. Hiro was one thing, but he was already soiled by the world. This is an innocent child.' Adelynn thought. 'I'll just leave everyone else to deal with her.' Adelynn ignores Tamaki's rambling, but watches as the young girl points her finger at the group.

"It's a reverse harem. This is a reverse harem!" She squeals.

"Maybe not so unsoiled then." Adelynn mutters, her lip twitching up in amusement.  She listens silently as the twins and Tamaki talk about water.

"There's debauchery here!" She points at the group again.  As everyone watches her, she'll shocked, Adelynn tries to keep her sniggers down. "Yay! There's debauchery here, isn't there?" She jumps around. She points at Kyoya.

"You're the glasses character."

Then Honey-Senpai and Mori-Senpai.

"You're the boy Lolita and the stoic type."

The twins.

"Twincest."

Haruhi.

"The book worm."

Then her hand fell onto Adelynn and she tries to smile innocently, and keep back the urge to laugh at everyone's faces.

"The heroine everyone loves!" She jumps, giggling. Adelynn laughs slightly, dead panning. 'I wanted a cool role.' The girl then looks at Tamaki and he flinches back. "Big brother. . . My brothers blond you must be him!" She jumps Tamaki in a hug. Adelynn's face stones over and she wonders over to Ross.

"Who is it?" She asks.

"One of your family friends daughter." Ross replies smoothly.

"Daughter of a big company? She seems like it. Look at how white her clothes are." Adelynn reasons to herself.

"Oh, well she is connected to your family in some way, but I was on about the other one." Ross smirks. Adelynn glares at him, her mouth set in a line.

"They are my family." She growls.

"No, you're just a replacement." He answers coolly.

"Shut it pretty boy, before I have to change your name." Adelynn's jaw tightens, glaring holes into Ross's laid back form.

"I'm just doing my job. Winding you up is just the side deal" he smirks, folding his arms behind his head. Adelynn spins on her heel and walks back to the group slowly. "You look good in that uniform!" He hollers. Adelynn kept her back to him but put her middle finger up at him. Adelynn stops next to Kyoya who stood watching Tamaki spin the kid around.

"What's the kids name?" Adelynn asks, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Kirimi. Do you perhaps know anyone who has a younger sibling with that name?" He inquires. Adelynn thought for a second. 'Isn't that-'

"Kirimi. Kirimi." Then a head of blond pops out from the door.

"Hey, ar. . . Who the hell are you?" The twins chorus.

"He looks like a foreigner!" Honey smiles.

"What's up with that? How come that door looks different all of a sudden?" Haruhi asks.

"Only a sane person would ask that." Adelynn pats Haruhi's shoulder.

"Oh Kirimi!" The man walks out from the door.

"Master." Another voice said.

"You forgot your cloak." A women steps out. Then the blond man is covered in black and Adelynn smiles at him.

"Long time no see, Neko." Adelynn waves her fingers at him.

"Nekozawa-Senpai?!" Haruhi, Tamaki and the twins shout.

"Master Umehito is terribly vulnerable to any kind of bright light. For that reason, if he doesn't shroud himself black he will fall victim to the brightness of the outside world and will undoubtedly collapse. And just to be comfortable he has to cover his beautiful blond hair with a dark wig!" The maid explains.

"On the other hand his sister Mistress Kirimi is frightened of dark dimly lit places." The butler explains.

"So this little girl is Nekozawa-Senpai's younger sister?" Haruhi asks. The butler dabs his eyes.

"You are quiet insightful. He's that would be correct sir." Tamaki places Kirimi down on the floor. Nekozawa creeps forward.

"Kirimi. . . so this is where you've been hiding. . ." Nekozawa grins as he stalks towards Kirimi, casting a shadow on the little girl.

Kirimi yells "Brother, save me from the monster!" And runs to Tamaki's with tears pooling from her eyes.

"Please don't be scared. I'd like to introduce you to someone. This is 'Belzenef'. The Nekozawa family has worshipped cats for generations." Umehito explains as he shows off his puppet.

"Oo, Belzenef. He's so cute." Adelynn smiles to herself.

"You know, I get the feeling she's not scared of the puppet.
Call me crazy, but I think it's you." Haruhi points out, ignoring Adelynn.

"It's probably your clothes. We'll help you change, 'kay?" The twins offer as their faces darken.

"No! Don't do that! It's far too bright! I may die!" Umehito panics as the twins pull at his clothes.

"I know. We'll always just darken the room!" Honey pulls at the curtains, closing them.

"Don't do that!" Kirimi cries.

"Don't worry, little one." Tamaki tries to comfort as he rocks her body.

"Either way, someone's unhappy."  Kyoya points out.

"No shit Sherlock." Adelynn mutters.

"It's a tragedy that these two siblings are such polar opposites. As a result, they have come to be known as 'the Nekozawa family's Romeo and Juliet'." The maid, Kuretake, said.

"But Romeo and Juliet weren't brother and sister. I think their situation was a little different." Haruhi said.

"Oh I'm well aware of that. To be honest, it's something I just came up with on the fly. Pretty impressive, huh? I thought it might make the story more dramatic." Kuretake smiles.

"Oh, I see." Haruhi sweat drops.

"We are sent by the Master's family to get our beloved Mistress Kirimi back home safely." The butler, Kadomatsu, informs.

"Is the rest of the family-" "-as out of touch as the three of you are?" The twins chorus.

"How dare you say such terrible things? The Nekozawas are a distinguished family. They're descendants of the Tokarev dynasty of Russia!" Kuretake shouts as she shakes Umehito around.

"Tokarev, huh?" Kyoya rubs his chin. Adelynn chuckles.

"Wait, you mean Romanov, right?" Tamaki asks as his face pales. 'This is what the bastard meant.' Adelynn glares over at Ross who smirks at her. She grits her teeth and looks away from him, a tick mark on her head.

"There's a legend that says once every few hundred years, a Nekozawa child is born, a child who's destined to be possessed by the darkness exactly like our Master Umehito. That legend may or may not be true." Kuretake explains darkly.

"What do you mean, may or may not be true?" Honey asks.

"Is it or isn't it?" The twins question boredly.

"Mistress Kirimi fell in love with the handsome fairy-tale prince of an older brother she had seen in portraits. However, as a result of his condition, the Master is unable to go near his sister without being shrouded in black." Kuretake informs. "Once she learned her older brother was enrolled in high school here, she decided to go looking for him. That's what brought her to your host club. We've tried to keep her comforted by reading her bedtime stories about princely characters like her brother, but we ran out of stories. . . So recently, we decided to start reading her shojo manga that have princely characters in them. And I'm afraid she's become completely addicted."

"Shojo manga?" Haruhi sweat drops.

"I see, so that's where that came from." The twins chorus.

"Strange family." Adelynn remarks.

"Is there really debauchery in shojo manga? But, Sashimi-chan is so young." Haruhi said.

"Not 'Sashimi'!" Karou scolds.

"It's 'Kirimi'!" Umehito corrects.

"So, Kirimi-chan doesn't know that you're her real older brother, Nekozawa senpai?" Haruhi asks. Umehito falls to their floor as he creates a dark aura around himself.

"Yes. We've talked her, but she refuses to believe us." Kuretake said sadly.

"That's so sad. Well, no wonder Neko-chan is so upset." Honey rubs his eyes, a pout on his lips.

"It's painful. That's why, every night, I offer prayers and hopes that one day Kimiri will come to embrace. . . the darkness." Umehito said hopefully.

"I think you've got it backwards, buddy." The twins chorus, quirking a brow at the frail male.

"You should try to get accustomed to the light." Hikaru points out.

"What're you trying to do to your sister?" Karou adds.

"I'm sad to say this, but I agree with the twins." Adelynn comments.

"Hey!"

"Come along, Mistress Kirimi." Kadomatsu steps forward.

"It's time to go home." Kuretake adds.

"NOOOOO!!!! I'm not going with you. I don't want to go home! I wanna stay with my big brother!" Kirimi whines as she tears up again and hangs from Tamaki's neck. Umehito turns his back to everyone.

"Nekozawa senpai?" Tamaki speaks up.

"Don't worry about me, Suoh. All I want is for my sister to be happy. Make sure she gets the love she deserves!" Umehito said as he ran off sadly.

"But wait a minute, senpai!" Tamaki shouts, reaching out.

"Sibling relations are a source of problems in any family." Kyoya pushes up his glasses.

"Speaking from experience, are we?" Adelynn quirks a brow.

"Even so, I'm kinda jealous. I grew up an only child, so I can't really relate. But I can't imagine how touch it must be to have a sibling that's so different from you that you can't even spend time together." Haruhi said as she stares out the window. Tamaki gently puts Kirimi back on the floor.

"Is something wrong? Tell me, big brother?" Kirimi stares up at the blond.

"I'm sorry, Kirimi-chan. But I'm not the big brother that you've been looking for." Tamaki apologises. "Don't worry. He is still out there. Believe it or not, you have a big brother that's even more handsome than I am. And I promise you, he's a real prince." Tamaki smiles.

"That's awufully heroic of you." Adelynn smiles slightly.

"But senpai. . ." Haruhi whispers.

"Once she stepped foot into this room, Kirimi-chan became a guest of the host club. And it's our job to make all our guests happy. It's an absolute tragedy to see a brother and sister at odds this way. We have to do something to help them! Starting now, 'Operation, change Nekozawa senpai into the princely character of Kirimi-chan's dreams' is underway!" Tamaki

"Are you serious?" The twins ask.

"Him and his stupid names." Adelynn face palms.

"But, sir. . ." Kadomatsu stares at him.

"You want to change Umehito from a prince of darkness to a prince of light. I don't know if that's even possible." Kuretake explains.

"Senpai! Quit getting carried away by your emotions! Don't make promises you can't keep." Haruhi yells, obviously annoyed by his antics.

"'Oh ye of little faith'. Have you forgotten that we have an expert on our side? Someone who knows the importance of changing characters." Tamaki grins.

"I would of thought you'd get used to him by now." Adelynn pats Haruhi's shoulder, then she freezes. "Changing characters?"

"You don't think-" "-he's talking about. . ." The twins start. Then boisterous laughter begin from below and the plate form slowly rises. "Yeah, sure enough." They nod.

"Oh god. Anything but her!" Adelynn stressed, grabbing at her hair.

"I've missed you Adelynn-sama!" Renge shouts, engulfing Adelynn in a hug.

"You should teach him by example." The twins chorus, pushing a manikin towards Tamaki in Haruhi's swimsuit.

"Ha. . . Haruhi. . . I. . . " Tamaki looks at it awkwardly, embarrassing himself further.

"Excuse me." Haruhi opens the door and looks through the darkness of the room.

"Haruhi!? You are the real one! But when did you get here?" Tamaki throws the doll away quickly.

"Kirimi-chan came to the club room again today looking for you. If you've got time to do disgusting things like this, surely you can spare some time to hang out with her for a while." Haruhi states as her eyes burn holes into Tamaki.

"Disgusting?" Tamaki places his hand on his heart, a dark aura around him. He them sulks in his emo corner. The twins brake out into laughter.

"Why don't you keep her company, Haruhi? What's wrong? Is Adelynn not watching her?" Kyoya inquires.

"Well, no. It seems Adelynn doesn't get on well with young children." Haruhi answers.

"She doesn't?" The twins ask, tilting their heads in confusion.

"She just avoids her, and all she can manage is a smile towards Kirimi whilst I do all the reading. If I didn't know any better I'd say she just disliked them." Haruhi said.

"Big brother?" Kirimi appears at the door. "This room is dark and scary!" She then starts to cry.

"Oh, Kirimi-chan. I asked you to wait for me in the other room." Haruhi looks down at the girl and pats her head.

"What's wrong, little one? There, there, calm down." Tamaki picks her up. "You see? There is nothing to be afraid of." Tamaki begins to spin her around in circles as she laughs. "Here we go!" At watching the sight Umehito becomes disheartens.

"Senpai?" Renge asks, staring at Umehito who held a flashlight in his hands.

"I am a handsome, princely big brother! I am a handsome, princely big brother!" Umehito chants. "Self evil beam!!" He them lights the flashlight in his face.

"He did it!" Honey shouts in awe.

"Nekozawa-senpai's come a long way. He is able to shine a flashlight in his own face!" Renge praises. Adelynn watches from the darkness next to Ross and feels her heart coil in her chest.

"Adelynn." Ross warns under his breath. She glares at him.

"What? It's like watching a sad movie. You start up that crap again I'll punch you in the crouch." Adelynn threatens. Then a shriek echoes through the room and Adelymn flinches back as Kirimi runs out the room. "And this is why I don't like kids."

"Kirimi! Kirimi, wait!" Umehito shouts after her.

"So, I guess shining the flashlight in his face-" "-scared and sent her running." The twins say.

"I wouldn't of guessed." Adelynn sighs.

"Oh, Kirimi." Umehito sobs.

"Nekozawa-Senpai?" Tamaki steps forward.

"I've had enough." Umehito said dejectedly. "Even if I continue the special training, there's no guarantee that Kirimi will ever accept me. . . I think she'd be better off if you acted as her brother in my stead, Suoh."

"But that's ridiculous. You're the big brother she is looking for. If you care about her, you will do whatever takes to win her over." Tamaki tells him. The twins open up one of the curtains and stare outside.

"Hey, look. Kirimi-chan hasn't made it out of the courtyard." Hikaru points out.

"But there's something down there with her. Oh, it's just a cat." Kaoru adds.

"The Nekozawa family loves cats. It's not strange to see them without one." Adelynn points out.

"What did you say? They're revered by our family, it's true. But Kirimi wouldn't participate in something like that. Something as occult as befriending a stray cat.
Kirimi is afraid of animals and cats are the creatures she fears the most!" Umehito runs up to the window and calls for Kirimi.

"Umehito!" Adelynn yells, reaching out for him. She watches with wide eyes as he runs across the courtyard.

"But he's not wearing his black cloak!" Haruhi shouts.

"That's what you're worried about! The man just jumped out a window!" Adelynn shrieks.

"Someone, help." Kirimi cries, to scared to move.

"Kirimi! Kirimi!" Umehito runs over. He dares the cat off and Kirimi's eyes gather tears.

"Big brother!" Kirimi jumps into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Would you look at that?" Honey smiles.

"This is all thanks to my special training." Renge grins.

"You did nothing to help. That was the power of sibling love. It was his decision. It wasn't because of some special training." Adelynn crosses her arms. Everyone watches Umehito talk to Kirimi as he slowly falls to the floor.

||| Time Skip |||

Umehito stares out his black door, his cloak over his head. Everyone watches him.

"He probably got more sun that he ever will again in that one day." Hikaru said.

"That may be true. But he immediately went running for the darkness again. . ." Honey comments.

"Yeah, we should have known.
What a waste. He's back to wearing all those black clothes again." Kaoru adds. Adelynn smiles.

"I think he suits black. All those black magic curses and evil toys can only be black. I mean, any other colour wouldn't suit. So I say black looks good on him." Adelynn grins.

"So you have a thing for men in black?" Hikaru asks.

"In more than one way." Ross comments as he walks past the group. The host club stiffen at his approach. "Calm down boys, just being your slave." Ross scrunched up his face. Adelynn sniggers, then clears her throat awkwardly.

"Then go be a slave else where." She waves him off. "Better yet, go grab me some cake. I think I'll go have tea with Neko."
