Chapter 4- Shut up and Drive

A few days past, neither Clarissa or Sideswipe have been able to see each other. Sideswipe was sent out on a mission hunting down a nasty Decepticon. Clarissa did the same routine, feed the horses, practice, feed the horses, bed. She knows she's not allowed to see the flashy red bot, but she can't stop thinking about him.

"Your head is not in it." Tyler scolds.

Her elbows were leaning on the tank of her crotchrocket. Wind rushes past, making her hair go wild, as racers raced past, practicing for the race that is about to start.

"Huh." She glances his way, pretending to not know what he is talking about.

"Clarissa! This is a big race, you need to get your head in the game. Otherwise you could lose your title." Tyler whispers into her ear.

She pushed herself up off the bike, pushing into his chest.

"I don't need you to tell me that. I will win, like I have the past four years." She flirts, Tyler rolling his eyes as he stepped back, letting her fall forward.

"Ass!" She yells at him as her hands catch her, landing hard on the floor. His laughter ringing in her ear.

"How about you go win the race then?" She shoots at him as she stood, wiping the dirt off her hands.

"Seriously, I trained you. I could win with my eyes closed." He boosts. "Now get on your pretty bike and go win me a trophy."

She punches him in the chest, laughing with him. She slides her leg over the seat, her hand on the handle. She sits comfortably as she tightens her helmet. Once her gloves are slipped on, she is ready to go.

"Come on now, what you waiting for, for, for, My engine's ready to explode, explode, explode, So start me up and watch me go, go, go, go, Get you where you wanna go, if you know what I mean, Got a ride that's smoother than a limousine, Can you handle the curves, can you run all the lights, If you can, baby boy, then we can go all night, 'Cause it's 0 to 60 in 3.5, Baby, you got the keys, Now shut up and drive, drive, drive, Shut up and drive, drive, drive"  Rihanna plays over the speakers throughout the stadium as Clarissa takes control, flying out onto the track. Popping a wheely as she went. The crowd gathering in their seats, begins to hoot and holler as she speeds around the track.

The stands were filling as the racers took a few laps around the track. Men, women and children gathering around. The sun, shining down from above, hit the crowd with its harmful rays, but that didn't stop the family's from having fun. Standing behind the pits, leaning against the railing, a man stood wearing a tight red tee, black jeans that sculpted his ass perfectly. Girls swooning as they walk past. One or two became brave enough to lean against the railing facing him. Trying to get his attention. There is only one girl who has his attention and no other is going to take it. The minute he walked out to look around, he found who he was looking for.

Her sexy body leaning on her bike, scouting out the course. He watched as a man walked up to her and began to talk to her. He noticed them begin to argue but ended in laughter. Boy, did he wish he is the one to be making her laugh like that. Her smile brightened up the track, brighter than the sun. He couldn't stop the stare he had on her as she raced out onto the track. Knowing the race is about to start, he heads to find a seat, making sure to find one close to her pit stop.

"Is this seat taken?" A young pretty woman asked standing next to the handsome red head.

"No." He said in a monotone voice. She sits down nervously, glancing at him more than normal.

"You come here a lot?" She asks attempting to make conversation with him.

She leans forward, trying to get into his sight. Unfortunately for her, his sight is set on the track and isn't about to leave it.

"No, but I plan to." He says more to himself than her. She bites her lip, realizing this will be harder than she thought.

"Who's your favorite?"

"Hmm?"

"Your favorite racer?" She restates.

"Number 77." He is quick to say.

"Oh, Clarissa Rave." She says slightly disappointed.

"You know her?" Now she has his attention. To which she puffs out her chest a little and puts on a small smile.

"Oh yea. Me and Clarissa go way back." She long gates the last few words, making it sound like they were friends forever.

"Can you tell me about her?" He says excitedly, not realizing the girl is lying.

"Well she's been racing for about four years now and is remaining champion. She races for the title again today. She only cares about racing. Her bike is her life and I'm pretty sure she is dating her coach. Though, she could be dating another racer. I'm not sure. She changes guys like she changes oil." The girl can't stop the pride she feels to see his face fall. Though her smile vanishes as he gets up and walks away.

"Hey where are you going?" She calls out to him, getting up and chasing after him. He ignores her and keeps walking.

"Hey, I didn't even get your name, handsome." She grabs his arm when she catches up to him.

"Let go of me, fleshy." He growls, not caring what he just said.

"I have a name, its Denise." She snaps crossing her arms.

"That's great, now leave me alone." He snaps back.

"How about I overlook that last statement and we go have some real fun." She flirts, walking up to him and putting her hand on his chest.

"What are you doing?" He steps back, feeling very uncomfortable.

"Your cute when you look confused." She says closing the gap he created. She bites her lip, looking him up and down. His eyebrow raises, not understanding why she is looking at him like an animal looks at prey.

"Look just stay away from me." He orders, eyes shooting daggers at her.

She pushes out her lip in a pout, but before she can say anything else, he quickly walks away. He moves quickly to get out of her sight. He has a goal in mind, a place he needs to be, and he wasn't going to let some weirdo stop him. He walks down to under the stands, finding the entrance to the pits.

"Hey man you can't be back here." A tall man with huge muscles bulging out of his shirt, steps in front of Sideswipe.

"I'm here to see Clarissa Rave."

"Sorry man, fans are not allowed in during a race. You will have to wait like everyone else, until after." The guy states almost as if he says the same line over and over throughout the day.

"No, I need to see her now." Sideswipe furrows his eyebrows.

"She is in the middle of a race. You won't be able to talk to her anyway." The man argues. Sideswipe thinks for a moment. It is true what he said. He wouldn't be able to talk to her until later.

Time seemed to move slow for Sideswipe while he waited for the race to end. He ended up going back to his alt to wait until she leaves. While he waited, he ran through his memory bank, revisiting all the times he ran into the blonde racer. As people started to leave the track, he took that as his cue to go find his girl. He pushed past people as he went against the crowd. When he got to the entrance to the track, the bulky security guard was no where in sight, so he made his way inside. It didn't take long for him to find her. A large smile grew on his face once his eyes landed on her. She is wiping down her motorcycle after taking home the championship once again. Her hair tied up in a messy bun, jumpsuit half on and tied around her waist.

"So, this is where you get those moves from?" He says aloud walking up to her. She looked up hearing his voice. Realizing who it is she goes back to wiping down her bike.

"What are you doing here? You're not allowed back here." She states in a monotone voice.

"I needed to see you again." He states now standing opposite of her. She looked up, squinting to see him better as the sun has begun to set behind him, and gave a scoff.

"I don't know what I have to say to get you to leave me alone, but you really need to get it into your head that I'm not interested." She stands, setting the cloth on a toolbox next to her.

"Yeah I don't think so. I know that you are in fact interested. I could see it in your eyes the other day." He pauses, looking into her sweet baby blues. "And what beautiful eyes they are."

"That shit don't work on me. Go try that with someone else." Her voice cracks a little as she said this. Trying to not let it show how much he is getting to her. She gulped as he moved closer to her.

Before anything else could be said, Tyler walks out. "Who are you?" He asks, not beating around the bush.

Sideswipe's smile is replaced by a frown. "Who are you?" He snaps back.

"I asked you first. Fans aren't allowed back here tonight." Tyler says looking the red head up and down.

Clarissa walked close to Tyler, back to Sideswipe, whispering into his ear, "This is the Autobot I was telling you about." His mouth formed an O, understanding it now.

"He needs to go, Clarissa. You know the rules." "

Tyler, please don't do this to me. I'll pretend I know nothing."

"You really like him."

"I don't even know. I just know that there is something there and I want to find out what that is." She gave Tyler her best puppy dog eyes. They both took a glance back at the holoform. Curiosity beginning to get the best of him as he took a step forward.

"If he does anything or anything happens. I'll kill him. And don't let him distract you from practice." With that he turned and walked back into the trailer, that held all the things they needed for her races. She held the smile on her face for a few more moments, before turning back to Sideswipe.

"Please tell me that's not your boyfriend." He spits out, disappointment glowing from his eyes.

"No, he's my coach and life-long friend. I don't have a boyfriend." She can't help but smile at seeing his face brighten up. He walks closer to her, closing the gap between them.

"You looked super sexy out there." He says with a smirk.

"I know." She replies with a huge grin, a hand on her hip. Sideswipe can't keep his laughter in.

"So how bout I show you a real race?" He flirts with her.

"A real race. I think I've raced you twice now and you've lost both times." Sideswipe nods in agreement, knowing it's the truth.

"Oh, come one, give me a break. I was captivated by your sexy curves. Now that I finally have you, I can show you a real race." She rolls her eyes at his statement.

"Who says I'm yours?" Her arms cross. He raises an eyebrow and put his hands on her hips, pulling her closer.

"I think we both know, that I've won this race." He whispers, leaning close to her, their lips brushing against each other. Making her shiver.
