Chapter 16 - Stumbling out of Bars
"Sides I can't pack if you keep you hold on me." She tries to pull away but gets nowhere as the holoform holds on to her tighter.
"I don't want you to go." He mumbles into her neck.
"I don't want to go either, but you know I need too." She turns into him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"I hate that your doing the right thing. I want to be selfish and keep you. I'm never going to see you again."
He continues to hide his face in her neck, holding her close. There is nothing she can say back to him, other than that he will see her again. She runs her fingers through his hair, attempting to calm him down.
"You're going to see me again. I'll be home as much as I can."
He sniffles against her neck. Trying to keep the tears at bay. It is unknown when the last time he was this emotional. It bothers him to the core, but he can't seem to stop it.
"Just please be careful. Come back to me." He whispers, looking into her golden eyes, pleading without words.
"Always." She whispers back, then pulls him close to her, their lips brush together, until he can't take it and he molds his lips into hers.
He picks her up and she immediately wraps her legs around his waist. Its only two steps and he let her fall to the bed, hovering over her. Staring at her beauty that has captivated him time and time again. She lets her eyes wonder his form. Running her fingers down his chest, sending a shiver running through his spine. She grins at what she caused. He leans down and captures her lips again, this time there is more passion, pushing them together. Her hands grab the bottom edges of his red polo and slowly pull it off his body. Her fingers brush over his tightly formed abs, his profound chest, resting against his beating heart.
"I'm supposed to be packing." She mumbles into his lips.
"Yeah well you can take a break." He mumbles back, smiling into the kiss.

Both lay on the bed, panting.
"Wow, every time, still amazing." Sideswipe coos, putting light kisses to her face.
"Sideswipe!" Clarissa giggles, under him.
"Don't even try and stop me."
She attempts to push him away, but he is stronger than her. He only pushes down closer to her. Making her unable to move. He continues to pamper her with the tender kisses. Keeping her from moving.
"Okay now I really need to pack. I'm leaving tomorrow." Her reminder only brought sadness to the room.
"I know." His tone bringing more sadness than she thought possible.
Her hand reaches up, caressing the side of his face. Trying to comfort him in anyway possible.
"I will always return to you."
A faulty smile plays against his lips. Trying to do his best to keep a positive attitude, even though his girl will be leaving in the morning. He loosens his grip, backing away from her slowly. Enough for her to get up. He lays in the bed and watches her get dressed. Staring as she pulls one of his T-shirts over her head. Her long hair flowing down as she pulls it up through the shirt. She then continues to pack for the long trip ahead of her. Tyler would be here in the morning to pick her up.
She pulls out some old storage bins from under the bed. Each labeled 'Agent Rave'. She kneels on the floor next to them, contemplating if she wants to open it or not. Sideswipe leans over the edge, resting his chin on his arms. He watches her as she makes many uncertain faces.
"Old life, old memories?" He wonders.
"Yes. Some I thought I would never reopen them. Once Team Prime left, once Ratchet left, the pentagon didn't want us to continue. They said we had no reason to spend government money on the unit anymore. So, they disbanded us." Light tears came to her eyes.
"Babe." Sideswipe watches as she tries hard to keep back the tears. Her golden orbs shimmer.
"Well this time, I'll be going back to hunt Autobots and Decepticons. It doesn't matter if you are good or bad. I want nothing to do with this!" Her voice raises, clenching her fists together.
"Then don't."
"No! I have to. I can't let them get you or the rest of your team. I can't let this happen to any Cybertronian's. I won't let them hurt you. I have to try and save as many as I can."
Sideswipe crawled off the bed and sat down behind her and pulled her into his lap. Wrapping his arms around her. Slowly rocking back and forth, soothing his princess.
"I can't lose you, Sides. I just can't." She cries into his chest, her arms wrapped around his neck.
"You won't, you will never loose me." He whispers into her hair, kissing the top of her head.

They cling to each other as Tyler loads the car. His Dodge Charger will be getting the two to Washington. It is over twelve-hour drive to get there. Though that isn't anything new to them. Going on tour for the superbike races, makes this trip seem like nothing. Tyler gives a slight cough after he is finished with loading the car.
"Stay safe, please. Call me, text me as much as possible. I want to know everything that is going on." Sideswipe whispers into her ear, then kisses her cheek.
"I will. You stay safe too. Don't get into too much trouble." She tries to smile, a small one, but the sadness is still there.
"Me? Get into trouble...Yeah its gonna happen, whether I want it to or not." He lets out a small chuckle. Helping to bring out her smile more.
"I will let you know when I will be coming home next." She says slowly beginning to retreat to the passenger side of the car.
"I know you will. I'll see you later." He pulls her in for one more kiss.
Before she can let tears fall, she rushes into the car. She waves goodbye to Sideswipe as Tyler starts to drive the car forward. Soon enough the car is out of site, and Sideswipe is alone. Unsure of what to do next.
"I've been dancing on top of cars and stumbling out of bars, I follow you through the dark, can't get enough, You're the medicine and the pain, the tattoo inside my brain, And, baby, you know it's obvious" Clarissa danced to the music while she began driving through Virginia, getting closer to the DC area. Tyler sleeps next to her, his jacket posing as a blanket. Her fingers continue to tap the steering wheel as the song ends. An old country song begins to play, and she sways with the music. Brightening up her tattered soul. Her worn out heart, but with Sideswipe, everything seems to be falling back into place.
"Your glowing." She jumps in her seat and looks over at Tyler.
"I am not" She blushes, looking back at the road.
"Yes you are, and now your blushing." He says not even looking at her. Only hearing it in her voice.
"I don't know what your talking about." She argues, she knows exactly what he's saying, but she doesn't want to admit it.
"Why didn't you tell him?"
"Tell him what?"
"Don't even act like you don't know."
"I have no idea." Her voice goes up an octave.
"Do I really need to say it?" He raises an eyebrow to her.
"No, you don't." She pales, frowning.
"So, why didn't you tell him?"
"It's too soon."
"Too soon my ass"
"Its been what almost a year. At least."
"It will be a year in a month."
"Okay so it's not too soon. I'm surprised he hasn't said anything to you. The way he looks at you. And it radiates off of you. It gets annoying sometimes." He makes a big deal with rolling his eyes. This brings a small smile to her face.
"It just hasn't come up." And the smile leaves. She wants to tell him, but she isn't sure when a good time is.
"Well I hope you do it soon. You leaving probably would have been the perfect time. But I got ya. Do it when you're ready." He turns over and that's the end of the conversation.
They arrive at their destination early in the morning. Before they could go to their hotel they need to check in. They arrive at the pentagon, not bothering to change into nicer clothes. Neither of them really wants to be there and everyone in this building know it and if they don't, they will soon. She throws the keys to Tyler after the step out of the vehicle and head to the front door. They walk past uniformed officers, civilian contractors, other agents, and they all get out of their way. What they didn't know is that the program was waiting on those two. The last two to join the team.
"Agent Rave, Agent Rhodes. Welcome back." An agent welcomes them as they enter through the private doors. The two nods in response and continue to walk through.
"Look who decided to show up." An old agent they knew before called out. Running up to the two.
"Agent Draco, nice to see you again." Clarissa lets him grab her hand and he gives it a kiss.
"We have a lot of catch up to do." He adds.
"Yeah I guess we do."
"Conference room now!" Agent Gregory orders as he steps out of one of the rooms.
"Roger." The three say together and follow.
The three make their way into the conference room and take seats together near the door. Clarissa sits with her legs crossed as well as her arms. She scans around the room taking in all the people she used to work so closely with. A lot has changed in four years. Though most of them look exactly the same. She wonders what they all have been doing in their time apart. She doubts that any of them have had a time like she has.
"Rave! Congrats on your latest tour. My girls and I are huge fans. They were sad when they heard you were taking a break. I wish I could have told them why." An agent across from her said.
"Collins! Thanks, maybe I'll have to give them a meet and greet one of these days. I hate that I had disappoint my fans, but when duty calls, duty calls." She yells over to him, over the chatter of other agents.
"That would be awesome. They would love that." He shoots her a appreciative smile, leaning back in his chair.
"Alright, listen up. You all know why you're here." Gregory voice rose above everyone. "We have been having problems all over the country that started about a year ago. They are back. Decepticons and Autobots. We have only been having problems with Decepticons, but there have been Autobot sightings. Unfortunately, we have to eradicate both."
The room blew up with yelling and shouting. Some even standing up. Not everyone got to work with the Autobots, but everyone in the room knows who they are and the good they did for their country. If it weren't for Team Prime, there might not even be a planet Earth, let alone America. Clarissa and Tyler sit back and listen to the chatter going back and forth. They are the only two that know the truth and know for sure that the Autobots are back.
"Enough!" Gregory roars over the crowd.
Everyone goes silent. All that is heard is the short breaths of those that had been arguing.
"I ain't happy with the decision either, but this is coming from up top." Clarissa couldn't stop the snort that left her. They all turn and stare at her. "Rave, do you have something to say."
"No, I'm good." She says hiding her smile behind her hand. Gregory eyes her down, knowing what she is getting at.
He lets a low growl escape before finishing what he stared. "So back to what I was saying. We have been provided with new technology to help us bag and tag them. A new way to hunt them down. After this meeting we have to meet at the armory for a briefing on the new systems."
The meeting continues as planned. Explaining all of the new fundamentals and rules. Priority one Decepticons. All the goodies. Most of which, Clarissa had no interest in. She sat fiddling with her finger nails and Tyler kicking her under the table every now and then. A glare from Agent Gregory didn't stop her either. She had her own plan under her belt. If the government thinks they are gonna kill Cybertronian's, they don't know what's coming to them.
