001, forest people

          A PURE laugh escaped Taėlia as she chased after Rotxo and Aonung on her ilu. But her laughter soon died down as the three of them halted beside eachother in the water at the sound of the horn being blown.

          The trio made their way over to shore, immediately hoping off their ilu's as the newcomers got off of their banshee's, walking foward. A crowd quickly formed around them as the family stopped, warily looking around them.

          Everyone made way for the trio as they walked through, circling the new comers once. "Is that meant to be a tail?" Rotxo laughed, slapping one of the boys tails making Taėlia frown, slapping Rotxo round his head lightly.

          Rotxo looked down at her confused but his expression soon softened at the look on the girls face. "Sorry." He mumbled to her as she went to tell him to say sorry to the boy but she opted on keeping her mouth shut when she spotted her father walking through the crowd with her mother following close behind.

          Aonung, Taėlia and Rotxo made their way over to Tonowari, standing beside him. Tsireya joined their side whilst Taėlia simply zoned out the conversation that had just begun and instead began examining the family.

          The man in front was clearly the leader, his eyes full of hope but his face was completely neutral. The woman to the right of the man was breath taking, her stance was confident and Taėlia could tell she had a strong personality. Behind the woman was a teenage girl who looked to be around Taėlia's age, maybe older by a year. She seemed mad, her arms crossed across her chest as she frequently rolled her eyes. Taėlia's eyes flickered between the two boys beside her, the one on the right of the teenager was taller than the other boy, his braids reaching just a little bit past his shoulders. The smaller boy was staring to the left of Taėlia, where her older sister was stood. He looked a lot like the boy Taėlia guessed was his brother, his braids being just like the other boys but the sides were shaved and two braids rested on the front of his face. Taėlia didn't notice the other girl until the leader picked her up, she was adorable and fell sleep almost immediately.

          Taėlia almost jumped out of her skin as she felt a hand rest on her waist, "Are you alright?" Rotxo whispered in the girls ear.

          He often asked this whenever she would zone out. Taėlia slightly nodded, focusing back into the conversation as Rotxo removed his hand from her waist, the spot immediately feeling cold and bare.

          Tonowari turned around to the crowd of Metkayina's speaking with authority,"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters. They do not know the sea, so they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless."

          "What do we say?" The leader spoke towards his family, placing down the child in his arms as a relived sigh left his mouth. "Thank you." They all responded.

          "My son Aonung and daughters Taėlia and Tsireya will show your children what to do." Tonowari voiced, Aonung turned to his father — annoyance rolling off his words — but he simply got told to be quiet.

          "Come, we will show you our village." Tsireya stepped forward, speaking to the family as she pulled Taėlia along with her. Rotxo stared at the girl as she walked away with the family. The boy was soon snapped out of his gaze as he felt a hand slap around his head.

          "What the fuck!" Rotxo exclaimed, turning around as he was met with Aonung, who didn't look to happy. "How many times have I told you to stop staring?" Aonung empathised the last two words. Rotxo rolled his eyes, not bothering to answer his bestfriend as he walked away. Several times a day Rotxo would receive some sort of harm from his bestfriend for staring at his sister for to long.

          It was shocking Aonung still didn't know about Rotxo's 2 year long crush on the girl. Atleast that's what Rotxo thought. Aonung always suspected the boy having a crush on his little sister, but he never bought it up.
