Chapter 11

General P.O.V.

When Rin arrived home, she threw her bad in her bed and went down to the living room. She heard that Taito came to visit so she didn’t have time to dress up casually. She just let down her blonde hair and went to meet Taito.

“Holy shit! You don’t do that to me! Texting me that you came for a visit? That is not nice.” Rin said and sat across Taito.

“Well, am I not welcome?” Tatio asked in a….polite and surprisingly proper manner.

“Well? What do you want to talk about this time? Didn’t I tell you that I won’t give her to you in her eighteenth birthday?” Rin clarified once more.

“Yeah well, we can’t do anything anymore but to agree on your conditions. The Center wolves also gave up on Miku. She’s one heck of a wolf.” Taito said which surprised Rin even more.

“You mean-“

“Yes. We agree that the contract between wolves and vampires be settled. You have us on your side now.” Taito said. Rin wanted to hug him right now and she did.

“Thank you!~ That’s why you are the best in times like this.” Rin said while hugging Taito in a tight manner.

“R-Rin! I-I can’t-“

“Oh..hehe…sorry.” She chirped. “I’m just too overwhelmed.”

“You don’t have to. You’re a nice ruler anyway. You just have some perk on walking yourself to other people and that is the reason that you are one heck of a vampire.” Taito said and let Rin sit beside him.

“Say, when you have Miku, will Len have to break up with her?” Rin asked out of the blue.

“Well…”

The next morning, Rin woke up in high spirits. She dressed up in her mood:  Yellow pastel colored shirt, skinny faded jeans, Black Gucci© snake skin bag, high Prada© stilettoes and a denim jacket.

She was oh-so-glad because of what happened yesterday. Except for the part where she slammed Len on the wall.

“Miss Rin, your classes will start anytime soon.” Teto reminded her.

“Don’t sweat. It’s just English in the first period. Sometimes, in the first week of school, I have to skip because of some stuff.” Rin told Teto.

“If you say so.” Teto couldn’t oppose because it’s been so long since she saw Rin in high spirits.

After changing and having her morning coffee, she went to school, driving her black convertible and she parked in a good spot.

She went to her locker and fixed her things for the second class but the locker door shut on itself and she found Len at fault.

She saw him in his ‘I’ll kill you’ moods and she was fine with it.

“What’s up?” Len asked, gritting his teeth.

“The ceiling.” Rin answered in her monotone voice.

“RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Len shouted, catching the attention of the students in the hallway.

“What?!” Rin shouted back.

“What the heck did you tell those wolves?” Len asked, totally pissed off.

“Why? Did something bad happen?” Rin asked in an innocent way.

“Yes! They transferred here! Now they are flirting with my girlfriend!” Len said, total rage and annoyance in his voice but Rin is amused.

“Why yes! They told me that the score between wolves and vamps are settled. We are allies now so try not to get in their bad side. They’ll rip your heart out.” Rin said and laughed triumphantly for her victory.

Rin will be amused for the day. She is sure of that.

Next class is P.E. I better ask them their schedules. Heck this will be fun!~

Rin roamed to look for Taito and his friends and it didn’t take her too long.

“Hi, Taito!~” Rin greeted Taito and he found this surprising.

“Wow! You’re in a good mood. Why are you here by the way?” Taito asked. Rin smirked and did her stuff.

“What is your schedule?” Rin asked without further turning the conversation.

“Well, we all have the same schedules as yours. Is that alright?” Taito asked. Rin grinned like an idiot.

“Of course but I want you to do something.”

Then she made an evil plan against Len and Miku.

When it was P.E., Rin changed immediately in her sweats and went to the teacher.

“Sir! I heard that you are grouping me up with Taito. Well, I asked the dean for a small favor and I told him that I want to be paired up with Len and Miku with Taito. Is it alright?” Rin asked with her cute alluring puppy dog eyes. I did tell you before. No one and I mean no one can ignore her.

“I’ll be glad to switch you with Miku.” The teacher said and she smiled.

“Thank you sir.” She said and went to the gym.

She saw Taito and two alphas yesterday with him. They were surrounded by girls and Rin was almost surrounded by boys. Well, there is Len and Miku too but dully ignored that.

“Taito, I asked the teacher for the pairing to be changed. You are paired up with Miku. I’m paired up with Kagamine.” She said. Taito found a smirk on his lips.

“That is really nice of you, Rinny. I’ll pay you back with a dress for the Autumn dance.” Taito bowed at Rin.

“You better not screw this up.” Rin warned and the other two alphas bowed to Rin.

She went to talk to some of the girls in her class when…

“Okay, As you all know, The Autumn dance is near and you are paired up by the dean. The dance is compulsory especially for Rin Kagamine, Len Kagamine, Miku Hatsune, and Taito Shion since you all are candidates for the king and Queen of the night or the Best dressed Lady or Gentleman. I’ll give the top pairings for now.”

Rin was waiting for this moment. She have a lot of time in her life but she can’t miss seeing this one.

“The pairings are the following: Hatsune and Shion, and the two Kagamines” She smirked and looked at Len. Damn! His face looks so priceless!

“You four will be getting a lot of attention to yourselves so don’t mess up.” The teacher said and just passed the paper where the pairings are.

“Rin, you are a genius.” Taito said and he handed her a necklace with a ruby pendant.

“We’ll talk later.” Rin said and went to Len, who is currently crying.

“Len.” Her voice sent shudders to the poor guy. He slowly looked up on her, trying to meet her eyes.

“I’m so sorry if you aren’t paired with Miku but please, let’s do our best for the award. That will cause you a lot of fame to the school.” Rin reminded him. Upon remembering, Len stopped crying.

“I guess you’re right. Not unless you are involved in the change of pairings.” Len looked at her suspiciously but she kept calm.

“Nope. I don’t care if I get paired with my dear Taito over there anyway.” She said.

“Okay. I guess it’s not your fault.” Len said and went  to start practicing for the dance.

Though they forgot one thing.

What’s the theme?

“Ahem! Let me remind you that the theme for the Autumn dance is ‘Vampires in a midnight dance’.” Rin did not see that coming and the announcement didn’t end there.

“You and your partners are to dance one of the known dances to vampires which is just a myth but the dance was from way back in the eighteenth century. You are lucky to know this. I think the two best stars know this very well?” The teacher asked.

Rin nodded, trying not to look like they are both screwed.

“Well, we would like to see the demonstration.”

Okay. They think they know that dance because they are stars, that’s all. They need to act like humans. If they did not? They are in a total screw.

“Okay, please go to the center of the court. Tell me of you are ready.” The teacher said. Rin and Len went to the center of the court.

Like any kind of romantic dances, The girl will hold left hand of the guy and place her other hand on his shoulder…the same position for waltz.

“We’re ready.” Rin said and the music started. Len and Rin dance in the same time, both with grace, elegance and precise movements for the first phase of the dance.

The dance practically is a story about two vampires, courting under the midnight moon and both of them were cursed with lust by a demon so…you know what happened.

Rin and Len danced the best as they can for humans. When the part where the girl will bite the guy, Rin have a hard time holding her urges in.

Well, you see my dear readers, when two vampires dance this, they are in a dangerous situation. When if they like each other, they are ending up on making out and if not, killing each other. That’s why I kept saying that they are screwed.

“Len, please tell me that you are still sane?” Rin whispered and twirled.

“Barely. I hope you are still holding it in?” Rin nodded.

Second part of the dance: courting. Well, let me explain. When dancing this part, the girl will have to flash her eyes red and dance like they were having a conversation. Rin didn’t like that part a lot.

“Len, hold it in! While you still can?” Rin asked. Len nodded.

They continued dancing and the second part ended.

The third part is the worst part. This is where the curse applies to them both. Rin prayed that she’ll not be killed.

The music was seductive to the two vampires and Rin was sweating a lot. Same with Len.

“Len! P-please tell me that you like me and please don’t kill me.” Rin asked. The third part was almost ending and both of them were having the curse already.

“We have to go to somewhere more private that this place.” Len said. Rin was relieved but she’s still screwed.

The dance ended and everyone applauded, including the teacher.

Taito asked the teacher is they can be excused for the rest of the class after the dance so…

“For that outstanding dance, you both are excused for class today.”

Yes! Rin and Len ran in great speed. Len dragged her in his dorm. The curse was still in effect.

“Len.” Rin called out Len’s name and bother of them started stripping their clothes off.
