Chapter Nine

5 days remaining

TrueMU gently closed the door to his room and walked quickly towards the gates. The recruits were in their beds, as it was nearly midnight. He nodded his head in greeting to the guards on duty, who let him out of the Base. He walked a short way into the forest, just enough to be out of the view of the Base, and teleported away.

He appeared in a forest in front of a temple. He walked over to the wall blocking the entrance. He put a hand up to the wall, and it slowly faded away. He looked behind him to check for anyone who may happen to be nearby, and entered the temple.

Torches lit up the inside. TrueMU took off his helmet to get a better look. His eyes were a gorgeous sky blue, and his hair was a light brown. He set his helmet on the ground and looked around. Hallways led to different parts of the temple. He chose one and started to jog down the hallway.

The hallway came to a dead end. Regardless, he walked up to the wall and pressed a carefully concealed button. The wall fell away to reveal a hidden room. Three portals were in the center of the room, one made of obsidian, one made of a yellowish stone with a blue-green decorative top, and one made of glowstone.

A light blue glow surrounded him for a moment then faded away. He no longer wore a spacesuit, but instead wore a light blue hoodie, black pants, and blue shoes. He smiled as he walked towards the glowstone portal. He closed his eyes as the blue mist coming off of the portal teleported him to a different dimension.

When TrueMU opened his eyes, he was standing in front of a magnificent quartz castle. Oddly enough, no one was guarding the gate that protected the castle. The sky was a light blue as if it was day, though the sun was not there. He walked past the empty gates and into the castle.

The hallways within the castle were also empty. Glowstone lining the ceiling kept the inside warm and lit. He wandered through the hallways, occasionally peeking into rooms. No one appeared as he walked around. It was as if the castle had been abandoned, though it was spotless.

He eventually came to a door where he heard voices coming from the other side. He opened the door and entered the room, which turned out to be a library. Books lined the walls, and a few tables were scattered around the room. Two men were standing at one of the tables facing away from him, discussing something TrueMU could not hear from where he was. One had straight black hair and was wearing a silver cloak with a navy blue design. The other was bald and had a brown cloak with a golden design. They both turned around as TrueMU approached them.

Notch smiled when he recognized who was walking towards him. "Welcome back Jason," he said. "What brings you back to the Aether?"

Jason grinned. "I found him," he said, excitement evident in his voice.

"Found who?" the other male asked, confusion on his face.

Jason giggled and said, "Oceanus, I found Sky."

Notch's eyes widened, as did Oceanus's. "Oceanus, do me a favor and fetch my brother from the Nether," Notch said. Oceanus nodded and left the room.

Notch faced his son. "Jason, you're positive it's him?" he questioned.

Jason continued grinning. "I'm positive. He gets nervous whenever anyone calls him Sky, he admitted to dating Selene, and he said that his father failed since it's his last week," he said. "He claims to have amber eyes, which everyone here knows is his preferred eye color whenever he wants to appear human. I wouldn't come here unless I was absolutely positive I found him."

Jason sat down in a chair, and Notch followed his lead. They waited in the library for Oceanus to return with Notch's brother.

They didn't have to wait for long. Oceanus came back within a record time of five minutes. A man with a black cloak with a white design and white, glowing eyes followed him. He glanced around the room and immediately came over to where Jason and Notch were sitting when he spotted them.

"So what's this about Sky?" Herobrine asked as he sat down next to his brother. His eyes were softly glowing with an expression of curiosity and hope.

Jason grinned. "I found Sky."

Herobrine just about fell out of his chair in at these words. He stared at Jason. "Seriously?" he asked.

Notch nodded. "From what Jason has already told me, I believe that he found him."

Herobrine didn't look convinced. Jason sighed, and repeated what he told his father. Herobrine looked quite excited at the end of Jason's little speech. It would make sense, he hadn't seen his son for almost 73 years. Sky knew exactly how to stay beneath the radar of the gods.

By the time Jason had finished repeating his 'speech', Jeb, Dinnerbone, and Grumm had joined the four gods. Everyone was determined to retrieve Sky. They did not want Sky to win his little game.

Herobrine took out some paper, and the Council members in the room began preparing a plan. Jason mentioned that there was a Welcoming Ceremony for the new recruits in the Sky Army, which would be the best time to capture Sky. Notch agreed, and the gods based their plan around the Ceremony.

They all lost track of time. A clock chimed around 5 in the morning, which caught everyone's attention. Jason looked at his father worriedly, who told him to go back to the Sky Army Base and wait for them on the day of the Welcoming Ceremony. Jason hugged his father and uncle, said goodbye to the others, and returned to the portal.

Jason reappeared in the temple with a large smirk on his face. He couldn't wait until Yadrutas.

A/N

Erm, so that happened.

DON'T HURT MEH PLEASE!

When I had first started this book, I kept forgetting Jason. I think I did this so I wouldn't keep forgetting him.

If you were wondering why the castle seemed empty of any guards, think about this. It's the castle of the gods. Why would they need help if they are stronger than any guard?

And in case you didn't catch it, Sky is Herobrine's son and Jason is Notch's son. Herobrine and Notch are brothers, which makes Sky and Jason cousins.

That's all for now! See you on Saturday!
