Chapter 5 (rewrite)

The plain ceiling of his bedroom seemed to be judging him once more, as he lay in his bed, beside the woman he had just made love to.

The girl his heart beat for. The one he dreamed of when he couldn't have her by his side. The woman who had turned him into a horrible friend, and a man who could no longer look at his reflection in the mirror.

Among the white sheets that were covering her body lay his biggest sin and heartache. And Jungkook couldn't help but look at her, shoving aside the judgmental gaze of the lifeless ceiling, which only reflected his face.

"Ria, how much longer will we keep this up?" The words rolled from his lips once more, making this conversation between them repetitive, for he had caught himself asking her that after every night they were to spend in each other's arms. Ria brought her hand and, with her fingers, touched Jungkook's chin, bringing their faces slightly closer to each other. Her eyes were soft and caring towards him.

"Baby, you know I don't like doing this either." She claimed with the sweetest tone her voice could master.

Jungkook grabbed her hand and pulled it away from his face as he didn't quite need to hear that at that instant. The same reply she always tells, "Then why don't you break up with him already. I can't do this anymore, baby, can't you understand? I feel guilty."

Jungkook left his gaze to portray his feelings as his eyebrows furrowed in a pleading way. His heart was aching cause he really didn't like himself for doing this to his best friend, but he couldn't contain himself either, for he really was head over heels for Ria.

"I know. You must hate me for making you feel like this." She dropped her gaze sadly, eyes getting filled with blame and pain. A sight that once again tugged at his heartstrings.

Jungkook stayed and looked at her for a moment before bringing his arms and engulfing her into a hug, soon apologetic words escaping from his lips as he sure didn't want to be pressuring her. All he wanted was for him to finally be her one and only and for them to be able to live their love without the need to hide from anyone.

However, in order not to see her sad or make her feel cornered, once again, he suppressed all those feelings and wishes he had and just whispered that he understood her.

He will try to keep it in longer, even though it killed him every time he was to see Jimin near Ria, but he had no right to speak. He was the third one after all.

Ria loosened his hands around her and then proceeded to give him a slow and teasing kiss. A kiss that had him soon again under the sweet spell of love that he had for her. Thing that made Jungkook pull her back in once she broke the kiss. He started another one that let the passion he had for her show freely.

She was like a tasteful poison that he couldn't resist, even though he knew she didn't belong fully to him. Even though he knew that what he was doing would come back to haunt him one day. He could not resist her, and he believed their love was true. All he needed to do was wait, and she was going to be fully his soon enough.

His hands travelled down her back as his lips moved to her neck, and she smiled as she left her fingers digging into his hair, her eyes slowly closing, enjoying the pleasure he was gifting her.

Oh, how damn good he was at making her see stars and hold onto him while they would reach together moments of ecstasy.

---time skip---

Frozen by the end of her bedroom door, Sania had spent her night sleepless after she had pulled his hands off of her and had run for her life, locking herself in her room.

Despite the fact that the morning had come, she had yet to comprehend what he had dared to do and the fact that he actually remembers her. The thoughts had penetrated her, making her unable to step out of her room, not even for a moment.

Only thinking that she had to confront Jimin about it made her panic. How could she even begin to explain this mess? What could he have possibly been thinking when he backhugged her, like that?

Was he trying to scare her, or did he really make a move on her? And if it's the latter, how could she even tell her sister, without saying anything about her past mistake with him? He was no good man for anyone if he was the kind of guy who would try to get with someone's sister behind their back, that was the only sure thing. And that fact was making her mad and sad simultaneously.

How could she have given her first time and her heart to such a despicable man? Just how much worse could this even get? She had no reply to any of her questions, and her spiraling thoughts were driving her crazy.

Crawling in his own world, the time kept ticking until her natural needs started to force her to move. Her legs had gone numb, her tummy was hurling, and her eyes were getting heavy from the lack of sleep.

She sighed as she stood up, holding against the locked door for support, then she went near her bed to check the alarm clock. It was now late afternoon.

"Where have I even left my phone?" she wondered, as the urge to call her sister hit her immediately, knowing that she won't be returning again tonight.

"I have to get out of here." Her mind urged her as she tried to walk towards the door, reassured that Jimin must still be at work. Her feet were aching, but she ignored them and opened the door, carefully peaking outside before stepping into the corridor.

She rushed to the bathroom first thing, to freshen herself up, then she returned to her room, hurriedly putting some of her clothes in a backpack, planning to go stay at a nearby hotel for the night, until her sister was to returned.

Sania wasn't sure what she would tell her yet, but one thing was certain, and that was that she could not just let this go by.

Her face was taken over by a bit of determination as she went down to the kitchen to search for her phone, as the last time she had seen it, she was trying to cook dinner.

Luckily, the device fell to her notice quickly enough, and she grabbed it and shoved it into her pocket as she walked with rapid steps towards the exit, only to halt as the door flew open and the one person she was trying to avoid showed up before her.

"Oh, there you are? Won't you welcome me home?" Jimin smiled at her as he pretended not to notice the way the blood drained from her face. He stepped in and closed the door behind him, while Sania took a step back unconsciously.

" I guess you don't want to talk to me?" He added as he left his briefcase aside on the floor and proceeded to remove his coat and place it on the hanger. "I even left work earlier for you."

As he turned to meet her gaze again, Sania just turned around, thinking of retreating to her room, but this time, he took hold of her wrist in time and stopped her. "Don't be like yesterday." He uttered as he turned her to face him, and Sania just hardened her gaze on him before she yanked her hand off his hold.

"The heck do you think you are doing?!" She snapped at him, eyes filled with a blazing fire that strangely enough, did not seem to scare him.

"We need to talk. You can't just go and hide every time." He argued, making her unable to retort as he had a point, but regardless, she did not feel ready.

Even though Sania was aware that she could not avoid him forever, and now that he apparently remembered that night he had spent with her, Sania could have some of her questions about that night get answered for once. She still wasn't ready to talk about it with him, simply because she was afraid of the words he might say.

Words that could crush her heart and hurt Sania in an unimaginable way. Because he mattered to her, and thus his opinion too. If it were to be stated that the night Sania passed with him was nothing for him, it definitely would hurt her emotions because, for her, it was so much more. Of course, Sania wasn't expecting or wishing to have a meaning for him at this point, but in order to shield her heart, she preferred not to know that information altogether.

"You have no right to tell me what I can and can't do." She turned to live once again, and this time he let her walk to the stairs, using his laughter to slow her steps to slow down.

"Hiding won't change the fact that I know every inch of your body." His words had her turn around and walk up to him and slap him, without a warning, for she felt disrespected by the truth and annoyed by the tone of arrogance dripping from his voice.

Jimin took the slap calmly, despite the fact that his smile had disappeared. He gave room to the silence to engulf the place as he slowly returned his gaze to her, meeting her teary eyes, which brought a pang of sadness to rest on his chest.

"I may come off as rude, but that is our problem, isn't it?" He spoke, and Sania pursed her lips, unwilling to admit to it.

"I just want to talk...it's been so long I was waiting to cross paths with you again." Her eyes grew wide at his statement as she couldn't believe what she had just heard.

He, too, was waiting for me?...he, too, was longing to meet me again?

"I looked for you everywhere, but I couldn't find you. I didn't know what to do. How to make it up to you?" His eyes softened as he went on, making her curiosity rise.

"Make it up to me for what?"

"That was your first time, I know it. I was tipsy, and I just couldn't understand why you would give your first night to a stranger. I kept overthinking it, maybe you regretted it. I just-"

"I didn't." She interrupted him with the truth, even though embarrassment started swelling in her chest the moment she uttered that. But she couldn't allow him to apologize for something she had willingly gotten herself engaged in. "That night...I was fully aware of what I was doing...I don't regret it."

"I did." His reply felt like a spear that landed through her heart, as she gulped down harshly, observing his eyes.

"I was single that night. Ria had broken up with me over the phone. I was so mad, so heartbroken, so desperate. I did it out of spite." He admitted, making her lower her head as she understood, that for him, she was not love at first sight at all. All she was was a rebound.

How awfully stinking was that pain in her throat, how tight felt the hold around her heart, as if someone was squeezing her to death, yet Sania showed no reaction and just nodded her head quietly.

"That's fine...it doesn't matter now anyway." She managed to dismiss the situation with a smile after a few seconds of silence, then she turned her back on him, only to find herself in the same situation she had escaped yesterday.

His arms wrapped around her as he held her warmly in his chest. Her head rested by the side of his chin, as he held her firmly in place.

"Please, let me finish...I have waited so long to say these words." He begged her with a templing voice that had Sania frozen in place. While the faint smell of alcohol coming from his breath lingered in the air.

"Do you even know...how much I had to drink, in order to get back here and face you?" he addressed the issue as he had smelled his own breath, and didn't want his words to be dismissed as nothing more than nonsense spawned out of drunkness.

Sania's heart was beating like a drum in her ears as she brought her now trembling hands above his and prived herself from his hold once more, turning around to face his pleading gaze.

"I thought I wouldn't think about you again. I should have forgotten you...Yet even after I got back here and Ria and I got back together...I was still hoping to find you." Jimin brought his hand slowly towards Sania's cheek, caressed it softly while she remained unmoved, looking at him.

"You have no idea how shocked I was when I saw you at the after party...if it wasn't for you running away immediately, I would have lost my composure. The one I thought I should forget was suddenly standing before me. Exactly after I had accepted that I would never find you again and that I should just settle and marry Ria...How am I supposed to move on from this?" He leaned closer to her face, entranced by her presence, while her eyes grew wide, comprehending his words.

He has feelings for me?... He too...

The realization had her heart swollen with joy, but as his hands rested against her hips and he brought her closer to his chest, Sania looked at him, shocked, before trying to push his hands away from her body.

"Jimin, stop. You don't know what you are doing," Sania told him as her hands rested atop his chest, not pushing him nor struggling nearly enough as she should have.

"I am perfectly fine, "He whispered as he made the proximity of their lips even smaller. " I have dreamed of this moment...haven't you? " He replied, then he proceeded to brush his lips against hers, making her eyes grow wide by the sudden action.

The temperature rose between them as they stood at a breath's distance, eyes low, and hearts beating in anticipation. Her mind was filled with the desire to taste his lips, and he thankfully brought her wish to reality as he gave in and crushed his lips on hers, engaging in a fiery kiss.

Her hands caught fistfuls of his shirt as he pulled her body closer, his hands traveling down her back as she gasped for breath, which gave him access to roam her mouth freely and fill them both with more desire for one another.

After a few seconds that had brought her mind to a drunken state of dizziness, he pulled back, both breathing heavily against each other's lips, gasping for air. His eyes were gazing into hers with an unmistakable need before he placed his hands on her thighs and lifted her up, swiftly.

He walked up the stairs, with her legs wrapped around his waist and her arms around his neck, halting once he entered the room Sania was occupying. He lay her on the bed just like he had done on their first night, then he hovered above her, eyes piercing and steady. Like a siren keeping her hooked.

"Sania," He uttered her name, as she stared at him in a daze, feeling as if she had travelled back in time, with the only difference that now, he knew her name.

"I want you, "He whispered as he leaned near her neck, and she slowly closed her eyes, gripping the bedsheets that were underneath her, for those words made her weak to the core.

Sania's heart was skipping like crazy as memories of that night started flooding her mind.

I must stop him. This is not right. I can't do this...

Her logic awakened for a moment, but as she felt his lips tasting the skin at the crook of her neck, her thoughts started becoming hazy, and her mind started getting filled with him and his actions. Her hands dove into his hair as she tilted her head to give him more access, and soft sounds started escaping from her lips, as a mixture of guilt and pleasure was taking over her insides.

He stopped kissing her for an instant, allowing her to take in a deeper breath from the sharp ones she was taking, then he leaned back and stared at her before proceeding to rip her shirt open with a simple movement of his hands. Eyes filled with yearning.

Sania felt as if her world came to a stop while she was looking at his eyes at that instant. A gaze that made her feel just like that night. A gaze that didn't last long as he returned to marking her skin with his lips. Touches that filled her body with pleasure slowly and made her start to lose her sanity, for her mind had now gotten completely overtaken by the love and craving she had for this man.

He is my biggest sin and the sweetest love I have ever felt.

Sania surrendered herself to his touch, and she started responding to him, yet still, the fact that tomorrow will come loomed at the back of her mind, making her feel like the worst person on earth. For she wouldn't be stopping him, and because she couldn't even deny it to her own self. That she was enjoying this moment more than anything.

Being his once more.
