Wasted True Potential
Adjusting her eyes to the sunlight from the window, Harumi got up and yawned. She looked around and saw that it was morning. Looking around the room, she noticed that it was Lloyd's room. She looked down and saw her boyfriend sleeping with a small content smile on his face as he clung to her waist.
She smiled and bent down to give him a peck on the cheek. Once that was done, she took a shower and changed into her ninja gi. It was still pretty early but Master Wu wanted her to get used to training in the morning. He told her that the boys used to do this when they were younger.
Still a big surprise that they went soft and careless, even Nya went lazy. Harumi's just thankful that she didn't fall into that trap, unlike the other Ninja. Looking back, it was actually a good thing that she had her Empress duties before staying with the Ninja, or else she probably would've also turned soft.
Opening the door, she walked out to the courtyard and saw Master Wu, raking leaves. If she was being honest, it almost feels as if these leaves come out of nowhere. There are literally no trees around. They probably got carried by the wind and got trapped inside the Monastery walls or something like that.
"Good morning, Master Wu." Harumi greeted, slightly bowing to show respect.
Putting the rake aside, Wu returned the bow while also greeting her, "Good morning, Harumi." They faced each other again, "Are you ready to start training again?"
"Yes, Master Wu." They walked towards the statue in the middle of the area, "But I do have a question."
He stopped and turned around, "I'm listening."
She nodded and twiddled with her fingers, looking away. "I just wanted to ask why the other Ninja don't train anymore, that's all." She smiled.
There was a brief pause before Wu replied, "I did not allow them to do that. They just started becoming soft themselves. Too many parties and games. They don't even try to keep in shape. At least you didn't become like them." He joked at the last part.
"I didn't know you had a sense of humor, Sensei." Harumi chuckled.
"I'm only serious when the matter is serious. An example is the fact that the ninja have gone soft. So today, I am going to put the Ninja back into shape by giving them a lesson today." He turned to Harumi, his staff on the ground, "If you wish, you could join them to test your ninja skills." He offered.
She paused to think, "To reply to your first statement, I'd say that it took you long enough for a lesson. And to your offer, I accept. I'm a part of their team, I think it's crucial that I join them in their lesson today."
Wu hummed and nodded in approval, "Loyal and wise." Harumi bent down as Wu lightly tapped his staff on her shoulder, "I'm glad that one of my students still respects the way of the ninja."
Harumi looked up at him and smiled, "I swore to protect Ninjago City. And I said that I would do that through the way of the ninja. Well, I'm planning on keeping that promise."
"Good." And with that, Harumi started her training.
Once she was done training, she asked permission if she could excuse herself because she promised the others that she'd join in their games. He allowed her, but not before reminding her about the lesson and that it was going to be... somewhat electrical.
It confused her but she nodded and retreated to the relaxation room. Her morning training lasted for about an hour or two, so by now, the rest had already woken up and like they planned, they were playing video games.
She opened the door and Lloyd instantly recognized her presence. With both of them smiling at each other, Harumi jumped into his arms for a hug. Those two are way too clingy on each other. And it's not that they can't protect themselves without each other, it's just that they feel stronger when they're together, which the rest of the Ninja think is cute.
The rest of the group greeted her good morning and she returned it. Lloyd sat down beside Cole on the sofa, and Harumi sat on his lap. Nya and Jay were behind the couch beside each other, whispering things like how Harumi and Lloyd act so lovey-dovey around each other and how clingy they are.
Technically, Harumi and Lloyd both heard it but they shrugged it off because they had to agree with their words. They are lovey-dovey because they love each other, and they're not afraid to show or admit it. They are clingy because it makes them stronger to know that they're with the ones they love, so there were no fights.
Harumi looked around and noticed that someone was missing, "Where's Zane? Isn't he usually the first one up out of all of you guys? I'm still not used to your customs yet."
The rest also looked at each other and noticed that their fourth was missing. The guys shrugged it off but Nya took the matter into her hands. Sighing, she looked at Jay, "Jay, go wake him up. He's probably still asleep or something."
"Why me?" Jay whined, "Why can't you just-?"
"Jay." Nya started, looking him straight in the eyes, "Just go. Please. Cole's about to beat his high score, and I don't think he wants to miss it." That last line did the trick as he nodded and left.
Harumi got off of Lloyd with a bit of a struggle because he had an arm around her waist, but she eventually got off of him. She went around the couch and stood beside Nya, behind Lloyd while her hand was on his shoulder.
Everyone placed their focus back on the TV as Cole continued to play the Lava Zombies game, "Get the guy on the left!" Lloyd exclaimed as Cole did so.
"Cole, you're on fiyah!" Kai shouted out in his soda bottle as if it was a microphone.
Killing the last lava zombie in the game, the TV let out a certain sound effect, signaling Cole's victory to everyone in the room.
"Oh, you did it!" Nya cheered as the rest of them cheered.
Harumi just smiled and clapped, "Congrats on the high score, Cole."
"Woohoo!"
"Alright!"
"Yeah! High score!"
"That was awesome!"
"Woohoo! Lava Zombie King!"
"Alright, Cole!"
The door opened and it revealed Jay and Zane. Jay noticed that the game was over as he pouted, "Aw man, we missed it!" He then walked to Nya's side.
Zane came in next, "Congratulations, Cole. That is quite an achievement."
"Thanks, buddy. No hard feelings?" Cole asked
"Of course not." Zane smiled, walking up next to Jay.
Cole sighed in relief, "Good, because my arm is pretty sore." He said as he rubbed his arm.
"I'm sore just from watching." Nya uttered as she stretched her arms up.
Kai smirked and gave a knowing look to the others, "Know what I'm thinking?"
Everyone, minus Harumi, jumped up and cheered, "HOT TUB!" They exclaimed.
Placing a hand on her cheek, Harumi giggled, "They are going to be in for quite a surprise." She muttered as they ran out of the room to change into their swimsuits. She shook her head in a mix of amusement and disappointment.
Soon enough, because she didn't follow them out, Harumi heard a yell. "Harumi! Are you coming or what?" Lloyd asked all the way from his room.
She got up from the couch and walked out to the hallways, "I'll be there. Just go on ahead, I'll catch up."
In just a matter of seconds, they all came out in the swimsuits. Most of the boys, which includes Lloyd, Kai, and Cole, were just wearing swimming trunks, whereas Jay and Zane had tops on. Nya was wearing a black maillot that was outlined with bright blue stripes.
They ran past her but her eyes were stuck on Lloyd before he reached the front door. He stopped and smiled at Harumi before leaving. She waved in return before walking towards Master Wu's room.
She knocked and slid the door open, "Master Wu? Do you have a minute?"
Master Wu was meditating but stopped and opened the rest of the door. "Do you need something, Harumi?"
She bit her lip, "Uh, yes. Actually, I was coming to get permission if I could join the rest of the Ninja in the 'hot tub'." She placed air quotes on the word 'hot tub' because it wasn't actually a hot tub. It was just an upside-down bell filled up to the brim with Nya's water and was heated by Kai's fire.
"Hmm," He looked down to think, "Yes, you may. But soon, I will come to give them their... lesson."
She giggled and nodded, "Okay, Master. I'll see you there." She waved as she closed the door.
Changing into her dark green maillot accented with gold and white stripes, she caught up with the Ninja just as they jumped into the hot tub. Lloyd noticed her and waved her to come in. She smiled and slowly dipped her feet inside.
She then felt Lloyd snake his arms around her waist as he pulled her in beside him. She yelped as she felt the water, but eventually chuckled at him. She splashed water onto his face as 'revenge'. Even though Lloyd pulled her into the water, her hair, which was in a bun held by chopsticks, wasn't wet.
"Kai, a little heat, please." Nya winked.
Holding a soda bottle in his left hand, "But of course." He lit his right hand on fire and dunked it in the water. Steam came out of the water and the Ninja chuckled/laughed and/or sighed happily at the change of temperature. They eventually all relaxed into the water.
Cole sipped on his guzzler, "Ah, this is the life!" He sighed.
Whilst stretching his back, Kai nodded, "We earned it, pal. Fighting all those bad guys, saving Ninjago." He listed off the things that made them deserve relaxation.
Harumi shook her head, "As much as I agree with that, I'm afraid I'd have to disagree." She gave a blank stare.
Suddenly, they heard a thud. They looked up and saw Master Wu on the wooden platform, "I can't believe we're back to this." He frowned.
Harumi got up, climbed the ladder, and sat down on the wooden platform next to Wu as she dried herself off since she knew that he was about to give them the lesson. She'd prefer if she could dry off first.
Wu looked at Lloyd as a small splash inside the water was heard. Pausing what she was doing, Harumi looked at Lloyd and giggled in amusement. Lloyd saw her gaze and shrugged at the fact that he just passed gas. Wu looked at him in disgust.
"What?" Lloyd shrugged.
"After every big victory, you get lazy, complacent, careless." Wu banged his staff on the platform, making it slightly shake as Harumi adjusted herself so that she wouldn't fall off.
"Uh, that is not true!" Kai protested.
"We're recovering." Cole defended Kai's statement as he stretched his body out, "We're resting our muscles."
"It was months ago." Wu stated plainly.
Harumi stood up and looked at Wu in surprise, "Months?! Really, guys?" She mused as she looked at them in disappointment.
Cole waved her off, "Shut up, Harumi."
"Are you sure?" Nya asked, ignoring Harumi's statement.
Wu slammed his staff on the platform again as Harumi grasped onto the railing, "Yes." He said.
"Yeah, well," Kai fist-bumped with Cole before casually asking, "Who's counting?"
Wu pointed at his staff, slamming on the platform for the third time, making Harumi frown, "I am! Look at yourselves! You've gone soft." He said as he poked his staff on Lloyd's stomach, "You do nothing all day, but play video games," He pointed at Zane and Jay, "And eat cake." He then shoved the sandwich out of Cole's hand and into the water, "And soak in this... in this..." He couldn't even finish.
Looking around at the water, Cole answered, "Hot tub?" With a smile.
"It's not a hot tub!" Wu cried out, enraged, "It's the sacred Bell of Divinity." He inhaled and exhaled before shouting, "Out! Out! All of you!"
Harumi leaned over the railing to see the exterior of the 'hot tub' before realizing what the bell was, "Ohh, so that's what it is. I was starting to wonder where you got a bell this size." She laughed.
The Ninja started to complain to him and then Wu added, "Emergency meeting in the monastery. In three minutes!"
One thing led to another and now they were all back in the relaxation room, chatting. They were all still in their swimsuits, even Harumi because she said that she wanted to go back to the hot tub again after this is Wu allowed her.
Well, speak of the devil and he appears. Wu walked into the room and they stopped chatting but kept their relaxed positions while they lined up.
"You have become soft," Wu pointed at Zane's face, "Lazy," He continued walking, "Flabby." He finished as he threw Cole's sandwich into the air as it fell on the floor.
Nya slightly chuckled at him as Cole frowned, "Okay, that's getting a tad personal."
As Wu stopped at the end of the line where Harumi and Lloyd are, the boy walked up to his sensei, "Nobody has gone soft, Master Wu. I promise you." He smiled, "We are in perfect condition."
As Cole slurped on his guzzler, Harumi stared at Lloyd, "I hate to disagree with you, Lloyd, but right now, I'm not afraid to admit that I do." As soon as she said that, Cole burped behind Lloyd, making him frown at him. Harumi pointed at Cole, "See?"
Sick of this, Wu swiftly turned around, "Silence!" No sooner after he said that, they all tensed and lined up perfectly, "Since ancient times, the hills around this Monastery have been populated by a species of highly aggressive predator. The first monks built the walls extra tall to keep them out. They failed. " He stopped beside a box as it shook tremendously, making them all nervous, "Many monks were lost."
"What's in the box?" Jay panicked.
Harumi sighed before turning Lloyd around and pointing at him with a frown, "I'm only doing this because I love you." She stared at him dead in the eyes, "Don't make me regret it." He nodded.
"In order to survive," Wu continued "The monks became faster, stronger, more cunning. They evolved into ninja. To this day, it is a test that every ninja must face."
"Uhhh. Test?" Cole asked nervously before slurping his guzzler again.
"To prove their courage, they must survive five minutes in a room with one of these." Wu removed the lock from the box and threw it away behind the Ninja before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
The Ninja stared at the box in worry as it slowly opened. Harumi, knowing that it was never a good idea to wait, walked away and grabbed the lock, examining it as the box opened to reveal a... chicken?
Cole gasped before laughing, "He had me going there for a sec."
Harumi knew better than that. She stayed away from the chicken and held the lock in her hands tightly. Slowly, she backed away from it. Master Wu wanted to teach them a lesson, so it meant that this chicken, or whatever it was, was not a joke.
"Who knew Wu had a sense of humor?" Jay joked as the others laughed.
Out of nowhere, the chicken sparked with electricity and it turned into a bright blue. The Ninja didn't have time to prepare as the chicken lunged at them and attacked them with its electricity. They all threw the chicken around at each other but couldn't avoid getting shocked at least one time.
Harumi had time to avoid the shocks and kicked the chicken away every time it can near. She looked at the scene in front of her, which was chaotic. They were all trying to trap the chicken back in the box.
"Ouch!"
Shaking her head in disappointment, she shouted, "Hey! You need to get the chicken back inside the box!"
Lloyd, after getting thrown away from the chaos, smacked into the wall beside Harumi and slid back down to the ground, upside down. Harumi grabbed him by the neck and flipped him right side up before she pointed out, "I thought you said that you'd protect me." She sighed.
"You also said that you'd protect me." He shot back. He looked at the fight and his eyes widened, "Watch out!" He jumped at Harumi and pushed her out of the way before she got shocked. "See?" He smirked, "I did protect you."
"Thanks, but we need to get the chicken back into its cage." She showed him the lock and shoved it into his hands, "I'll distract it and when the time's right, I'll somehow push it into the box and then close it, okay?"
He hummed, "I do not like the idea of you having to be the distraction but we don't have much of a choice." He ducked, avoiding a bolt of lightning.
"Oh, man!" Jay cried out, "I looked at it in the eye!"
They both looked at the fight again, "Exactly!" Harumi nodded, "Now go!" She pushed him into the crowd and shouted, "Hey, you! Chicken. Come and get me!"
That did the trick as it started flying at Harumi. She avoided all its attacks but when she saw that the others weren't doing anything, "Get the box!"
"O-Oh, right." Lloyd stuttered.
She grabbed a soda bottle and threw it at the chicken, grunting out, "I... Thought... You were... The leader... Lloyd."
With one last kick, the impact pushed the chicken all the way back and perfectly into the box. Kai slammed the top on and Lloyd slipped the lock on. It went quiet in there and they were all piled up in front of the door, minus Harumi who was panting behind them.
The door suddenly opened and the Ninja all fell through the door, also panting. The box fell in front of them.
"H-Hey. We got the Chicken." Lloyd smiled at Wu.
Jay nodded tiredly, "Yeah. It's in the box."
"We're... We're sharp as ever!" Cole pumped a fist in the air.
"You are weak and slow. A ninja's guard is never down. A ninja expects the unexpected. He is ready for anything." Wu scolded.
"R-Right!" Cole then burped, "That's us!"
"Right now, only Harumi is, but..." Master Wu chuckled, "We shall see." And walked away.
"What does that mean?" Lloyd asked before looking around, "By the way, does anyone see Rumi?"
"I'm back here. Don't worry." She sighed, walking up to the front of the pile.
Kai looked at her in shock, "How'd you get out here?"
She pointed at the door, "Back door. You guys were piled up at the front door so I had to take an alternative." She chuckled. She then ran after her sensei, "Master Wu!" He stopped and smiled at her, "I have a query."
Once that fiasco passed, Harumi and Lloyd decided to go back to the hot tub. The question she had for Wu was if she could go back into the hot tub for today, to relax. He replied to her that she could think of it as her reward, which meant 'yes'.
She invited the rest to come but they had other plans in mind. Of course, she was still careful because she heard Wu's last statement before leaving the Ninja at the pile. It either meant that there will be another unexpected lesson, or it would be booby-traps.
After it was getting dark, the couple came back inside but were met with three lasers set up in the hallway. Lloyd stepped over the first one, ducked under the second one, and used the wall to jump over it and roll to stop himself. Harumi jumped over the first one and flipped over the other two but then got suspicious as Lloyd started to walk away, proud.
"Too easy." She muttered before looking at Lloyd.
"Wha-" He cried out as two ropes came and grasped on Lloyd's foot. Harumi backflipped and avoided the rope, but Lloyd didn't and he ended up dangling, upside down. He looked at Harumi who looked back at him with a confused stare, "Um, help?"
She sighed and flipped over all three lasers, sticking her foot out as she landed on the rope, snapping it in half. Lloyd fell to the floor and got up, untying the loop on his feet. "You're welcome." Harumi smirked.
"Thank you." He smiled gratefully.
They continued but that whole night was filled with traps. Yes, Harumi avoided all of them and had to help Lloyd get out of the traps but even she was tired of it. Even when she was trying to sleep, she kept thinking that a trap could come out of nowhere. Around the Monastery that night, she could hear screams from the other Ninja as they set off the traps.
The next morning, everyone, with the exception of Nya, sat inside the relaxation room with their ninja gi on. They all had an annoyed look on their face. Harumi was slumped on the floor with her arms on the table beside Jay, who had the same pose.
Nya came in with green goop splattered on her, This... has to stop!" She approached Lloyd, "We have to do something, Lloyd!" She whined.
"Okay, okay! Let me think." Lloyd paused to think, "This is ridiculous! Let's just go and talk to him. Like reasonable ninja."
Harumi got up and stretched, sighing, "Better than having to be suspicious of everything around me and needing to save Lloyd all the time." Her last statement made them chuckle as she continued, walking towards the door, "Let's go."
Soon enough, they all walked out to the courtyard and found Wu raking leaves, again.
Lloyd approached him, "Master Wu, is there anything that we can do as a group that would prove to you that we have not gone soft?"
"So you can stop booby-trapping stuff!" Jay added.
Harumi rubbed the back of her head, "I agree with Jay. It's getting tiring, even for me." She sighed.
"There is one thing." Wu said, still looking at the floor.
"What's that?" Lloyd beamed but Harumi just stared blankly at him, keeping her guard up, unlike the other Ninja.
Wu threw the broom aside and it hit his staff, making it boomerang into Wu's hands, "Prove me wrong by defeating me in combat."
Harumi sighed again, "I knew it couldn't be good."
"Combat?" Lloyd asked.
Nya pushed through the crowd to get in front, "But I thought you said fighting never proves anything."
"Except, in this case, it will prove you can still fight." Wu explained.
"We can't fight you! You're our master." Lloyd protested.
Cole nodded and added, "And no offense, but... Well, you're kinda old."
"Rude much, are you?" Harumi muttered.
"Oh? Is that why? You sure you aren't... afraid?" Wu taunted with a sly grin.
They all laughed as Kai sarcastically said, "Yeah, right."
Harumi did a few stretches to get herself ready, "Okay, guys. Don't go getting yourself in a pickle." She let out a breath before grabbing her jade staff from her back, "He's not as weak as an old man looks." She warned.
"Exactly." Wu thanked Harumi, "So, prove it! Attack me!"
He jumped up into the air and slammed his staff on the ground in front of the Ninja, making them all fall backwards. Harumi used her staff and jumped out of the way in time. Wu threw his cape away and started attacking Lloyd. He tried to block the attacks but jumped and Wu pushed him away, stating.
"Failed."
Cole gaped at Lloyd before charging at Wu. Wu just turned and smacked Cole away with his staff. Cole screamed as Wu stated. "Failed."
Kai tried to charge too. He jumped to try and kick Wu but ended up getting thrown into a wall. "Failed."
Nya came in from above and had her feet out, ready to kick him. But instead, Wu grabbed her foot and spun her around a couple of times before throwing her away with ease. "Failed."
Jay stared at his Yang in shock before he was about to charge at Wu. But before he could do anything, Wu hit him on the chest with his staff and threw him away behind him as Jay screamed in shock. "Failed."
Wu then threw himself at Zane and stuck his foot out. Zane didn't even move or react in any way as he got kicked and he fell on the ground. Wu chuckled, "Failed."
Harumi got into a fighting stance as Wu charged at her. He struck at her but she used the impact from his strike to throw herself up to the roof of the Monastery with some help from her jade staff, "I'm not going to be as easy to take down as the rest of them, Master." She smirked.
Wu rested his staff on his shoulder and nodded, "Good, Harumi. You didn't fail." He smiled.
Getting up, Lloyd wiped off some dirt from his shoulder and got into a fighting stance, "Okay, it's on."
"No more Mr. Nice ninja!" Kai exclaimed.
All of the Ninja flipped their hoods on and Cole said, "C'mon, guys, we can take him. Wanna rumble?" He punched his fists together, making them glow with lava, "Well, you got the rumble!" He punched his fists at the ground but it did nothing more than create a crack, "Whaat?" He was speechless as he looked at his hands.
Wu stood above him, casting a shadow on top of Cole, "Your Elemental Powers no longer obey you." He kicked Cole away as Harumi facepalmed in embarrassment. She was still on the roof, watching how the Ninja fight after all this time.
Zane charged at Wu but he blocked it with his staff, making them both face-to-face with each other. Jay looked at them and lit his hands up with lightning.
"Well, I haven't forgotten how to use mine!"
He shot at Wu who moved out of the way, making Zane take the hit as he fell to the floor after getting zapped. Nya used her powers and shot water at Wu as he dodged them with ease.
Jay looked at his nindroid friend, "Uh, Zane?" He then got hit by a blast of water, "Whoa!" He cried out as he fell to the floor. Wu laughed at their attacks.
"Haha!"
Nya cringed, "Ga-uh. Sorry."
Harumi stood up on the roof and used her staff and leaned on it. "Why are you guys attacking each other?!" She asked in disbelief.
Kai jumped at Wu with flaming hands, "It's not as easy as it looks, Harumi. Fire!"
Both him and Lloyd shot their elemental powers at their sensei but Wu spun hit staff around really fast, making it deflect all the powers shot at him.
"I know!" Harumi replied to Kai's words, "I've fought him before, you know, Kai. You just never saw it."
Lloyd came in to punch Wu with his elemental powers but Wu blocked it. Kai also did the same while saying, "You don't need to brag about it, Harumi!"
Wu stuck his staff underneath Lloyd's foot and threw him away. He fell to the floor as the rest of the team piled on top of Wu.
"Get his legs! Hold him!" Jay ordered.
They grabbed a pair of white legs but then Zane claimed, "Those are my legs!" And they dropped him.
Master Wu jumped up to the roof and stood up beside Harumi as she stated, "Wow. They really have gotten rusty at this." She chuckled, grabbing their attention.
"Slow and clumsy." Wu stated, and Harumi laughed.
They all got up and Kai asked, "Huh? How'd he get up there?"
"This is getting embarrassing!" Jay whined.
Lloyd got ready to jump, "Ninja... Go!"
They all jumped up and did spinjitzu in the air, preparing to land on the roof. Master Wu walked to the right as Harumi flipped away to the left to avoid the fight. The Ninja landed on the roof, scattered. Cole and Kai went too far they slipped forward as Jay and Nya went too near and slipped backwards. Lloyd was the only one that landed correctly, leaving Harumi impressed.
"Impressive, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon." Harumi complimented from behind.
"Thanks." Lloyd nodded but didn't turn around.
Kai and Jay did spinjitzu at Wu but he went through the middle and ducked to dodge Zane's ice. He blocked another attack and used his staff to throw his ice as it froze a part of the roof. Wu then used his staff and spun around before kicking Zane away.
Cole tried coming at Wu but he slipped on the ice and slid down the roof and fell on the floor on his back. Wu just stood there as Kai, Nya, Jay, and Zane's spinjitzu cornered him. Cole landed on the floor with a crack.
"Oh-ho-ho. Ouch."
He let out a cry of surprise as Jay fell on top of him. Zane screamed next as he fell on top of Jay with his back first. Then came Kai as his stomach landed on Zane. Before the last, Nya came screaming down on top of Kai. Harumi winced at all of them as she saw them fall on top of each other.
She then centered her attention to Lloyd and Master Wu. Lloyd was the last one left so yeah. She watched closely and carefully. Lloyd and Master Wu went to the other roof and faced each other from far away.
Lloyd took his golden sword out and they both narrowed their eyes at each other. Wu chuckled. Lloyd spun his blade in his hand before charging at Wu. The sensei simply banged his staff on the roof and threw the roof tiles at Lloyd. Lloyd had to stop running and he ducked and lost his balance. Wu simply had to tap on his foot as he slid down the roof, screaming.
"Failed." Wu stated.
Lloyd fell on top of Nya, back first as his blade landed a few feet away from their pile. Two roof tiles fell around them and one fell on Lloyd's stomach, making him yelp. They were all groaning and beaten down to a pile. Harumi sighed and launched herself to Wu's side with her staff before positioning it on her back again.
"Ganache frosting." Cole groaned.
Kai slightly looked up, "Maybe Wu's right."
"I think so." Jay croaked out.
"We need a quest." Lloyd panted.
Nya nodded, "Yeah."
Zane also nodded, "U-huh."
Harumi looked at the pile before looking at Wu, "Are you going to unleash the chicken on them?" She asked with a look that said that she was tired of this.
Wu simply nodded, "Mhm." And with that, a familiar clucking screech was heard.
"Oh, no." Cole shook his head as they all looked up to see the glowing blue chicken coming at them.
Harumi and Master Wu watched from above as the Ninja scattered to try and avoid the electrocuting chicken. A few zaps and shocks were already made as the place glowed blue once again.
"I looked it in the eye!" Jay remarked, making Harumi sigh and facepalm in disappointment.
After a few minutes, she slid down the roof and backflipped before landing. "I'll help them with the quest." Once she was inside, she still heard the zapping of the chicken as she muttered, "Here we go again."
