Gods having a bad day.

When things weren't going well for me.

My Mama always said to me.

Pray and you will see.

God will give you what you need.

So all that day.

All I did was pray.

Day after day after day.

My papa said to me.

Will you stop and let The Lord be.

It ain't easy been he.

A billion prayers to hear.

A billion life's to care.

Thankless job with no pay.

Man even god has a bad day.

Is there truth in what my old man did say?

Does god have a bad day?

We are forever on his back.

Maybe we should cut the dude some slack.

This time god did appear.

Man he looked bad.

"All right I'm here!" He moaned in despair. "I've a busy day to clear. So what do you need in answer to your prayer."

"I want nothing." I was just wondering. Do you fancy going for a beer?"

I swear. In his eye I saw a tear.

"Man I wish but I don't have a dime."

"Dude it's all fine. We"ll order water. Just turn it into wine."

So just chill it will be ok.
Even god has a bad day.
He will get back to you.
When he's not feeling so blue.
