It has been a thrilling for the Haddock family, especially for Rose. She loves her parents as that she also had a best friend in the village, Trent. 

Trent and Rose do mostly everything together, as every child should be. Valka and Stoick had a special surprise for their eldest child, a godsend from the gods of Valhalla, but unfortunately Valka had died from giving birth to the child. 

"Rose Roselyn Haddock, you have a sibling!" Stoick proclaimed. Rose looked at the crib that used to belong to her, was a little bundle, with green eyes staring directly at her with curious expression on his face. 

Trent said with a beaming and enthusiastic tone, "A brother! What could this be any more perfect! Rose, you'll be a great sister!" 

But Rose wasn't so sure. It seems so hard to accept the death of her mother, how could she possibly love a sibling, a brother?

"I wonder how she would feel of not seeing him grow up?" Rose thought in her mind, as she continues looking at the little boy. 

As she was thinking, a loud commotion was burst out in the village, as that Stoick said, "Rose, stay inside and watch over Hiccup for me. It is very dangerous outside, and you are the eldest child." 

Rose nods, "I understand, papa." She turns to Trent, "I think it's best you go with him, Trent. You have more responsibility with the Chief." 

The boy nods of not to disobey the chief, leaving the siblings behind. 

In the midst of the chaos, the chief and the boy looked at what they couldn't believe. It was filled with dragons!

Trent looked completely anxious of seeing the dragons, but Stoick wasn't. "Trent, don't be afraid of these creatures. 

We can handle anything that comes our way." 

The boy nods from the reassuring chief, but to their upmost surprise was there was a person they never seen before.

"My name is Alexis, and I will end your village." She said evilly. 

The chief said, "Why would you attack Berk? What is your goal if you succeed?"

Alexis didn't hesitant for a answer, as that the chief notices a dragon had broken through his house. 

"Oh no. The kids!" Stoick said, as he hurried to the house as fast his legs could carry him. 

The teen was holding her brother, as the chief saw them with fear in his eyes. 

"Oh, no. Rose!"

A wild dragon burst through the Haddock Household, as that Alexis was grinning with such a vengeance. "Destroy those kids, in front of the chief of Berk." 

But the dragon didn't do what the evil woman wanted, as it approached towards the young girl who was trying to protect the baby's crib.

It knew that something has to be done, to protect her. The dragon's claw went towards her, as that it wanted to fly way with her. 

"Wait, please!" She said, but it was too late, it knocked the crib, making the baby cry, leaving a mark on him. Stoick tries to save his precious child from the dragon, but it was too late to save her. 

"Rose!" He yells, but it was far too late, as the dragon took off from her homeland, as it was the last time she ever saw her family. 

As they landed, she notices an unfamiliar territory. It was really different than Berk. It was filled with untamed dragons, being free in their territory, and that the dragon licked the girl to reassure her uneasy comfort. 

"Did you bring me here, to protect me from harm?" 

The dragon was ashamed of her actions, as if she didn't mean to cause harm. The girl realizes this, as she hugs the dragon. 

"Hey, I'm not blaming you for that. You knew that I was in real danger and wanted to protect me from that madwoman. I'm very grateful for your deeds, my friend. 

How about we find out what her true intentions are together. I'll name you, Firewind." 

From that day, she vowed to someday return to Berk, but it would take her years, and have some dire consequences, that she would hope that she can redeem of what she has lost.
