Emerald's POV

"Doctor!"

"Doctor!" I could see a lady scream on top of her lungs as she ran out of the room.

White ceiling, stiff bed, a drip. I'm in a hospital.

Wait! I survived?!! Thank you Lord!! I survived!

I didn't have strength. Moving my leg was a very big deal.

Shortly, a man came inside and did whatever he wanted to do.

"I guess  Doctor Aiden would get a promotion and a beautiful office. You know they might even move him to the 13th floor. He'll meet so many doctors as high as the sky. Ah! Even his office will be as high as the sky too. I wish it were me." The nurse smiled dreamily.

I've spent two weeks in this hospital first I had to practise how to walk.

"How long have I been here?" I ask the nurse.

"5 months 2 weeks. Your leg grew numb right? We lost hope, to be sincere We all mocked Doctor Aiden when he said you'll wake up since that became a regular statement. It's a miracle. If it were me, I would have definitely lost hope".

I just smiled at the talkative nurse. It became a custom I got used to.

"How long do I have to practice? it's been two weeks now". I guess she's going to tell me another long story. Every question came with a story. This nurse was one of a kind.

"You have to practice for this month. You're lucky your body is responsive. There is this friend I have that..." I didn't hear the rest cause the story was messed up.

Spending six months in a hospital. I got discharged. Kind doctor! He even paid my hospital bill. According to the nurse, every girl would admire to be his wife. I'm sure she's hitting on him. Poor nurse. I'm not sure he has any idea.

"All right Emerald! You did a good job. Let's go home!" I told myself patting my head.

Drake's POV

It's been a month I haven't heard from Emerald. There was no need searching for her since she's gone.

Darren started dating Nora while her dad moved from Glamora to Pinewest to stay with her.
Darren got rid of his mesophonia.

Melanie avoided me for sometime but later got over it. She was dating Brandon a guy in college. No one knows how she got to know him but we hope he doesn't break her heart.

Melinda and Melanie fixed their issues and became more like real twin sisters. Melinda still married to her books and Mel still a troublemaker.

Everyone was complete while I waited for someone. Walking with beautiful flowers at both sides. Emerald loved flowers.

"Drake". She called.

I turned back and saw Emerald.

Hallucinations have become a common thing in my life. More like a custom I got acquainted with.

"Drake".
This time she was right in front of me.
Another hallucination.
All I have to do is to walk straight. I told myself.
I was going to walk pass her this time no two ways about it.
One step, two steps three steps, four steps, five steps. I almost knocked her over.

"Sorry". I apologized now realising this time she was real.

"I knew this is were you'll be. This is were we plucked flowers".

I couldn't say anything because everything I wanted to say we're no where to be found.
I hugged her tightly like my life depended on it.
Everyone found their happy ending and I found mine too.

We walked hand in hand watching the flowers with smiles all day long.

Emerald found
The Secret Of Pinewest and saved  herself, gave hope to other demons that wanted to turn human and started a new life.
