Rebecca Pov

We have been in the mall for hours and I'm happy my uncle brought us here. He is letting us do whatever we want....well, not everything but you get the deal. I found some cute shoes and a cute outfit and some awesome hoodies. We were walking past a jewelry store when we all just stopped.

"Wait right here I'll be back with a gift for you two" Uncle Richard said as he walks into the store.

"Rebecca look!" Trevor said pointing to the magic show that was close by.

"Come on let's go!" He said grabbing my hand forcing me to follow him

"But uncle Richard said-"

"Well be back before he gets out of the store just trust me!" He said with a smile as I let out a sigh.

"Alright, boys and girls for my next act I will need two volunteers?" The magician said as I was just looked at all the kids wanting to be picked

"Can you two kids come here for a second?" The magician said as everyone looked at me and my brother

"Us...well I don't know about that"

"Rebecca let's go up there. It'll be fun. You always said you wanted to be a part of a magic trick" Trevor pushed me up on the stage

"We have to go soon"

"Don't worry you all will be done in a few minutes. Now for this trick, I will make these two kids disappear and then reappear" the magician said putting a large cloth over us.

I started to feel weird and dizzy I let out a cough as I felt my vision go foggy

"Trevor stay my side okay"

"Okay"

"And now that I have the cloth over them they will disappear on the count of three. One... Two... Three... "I heard a smoke machine creating smoke to make everyone think we vanished and I started to feel weak.

Dick's pov

I just got finish checking out buying their gift when I saw a huge cloud of smoke. I ran outside the store to make sure the kids are safe but I didn't see them where I told them to be

"Rebecca! Trevor! Where are you!" I yelled as I didn't see them. When the fog started to clear.

"Just my luck, I lost the kids" I complained as I started to walk around the whole mall looking for them.

Rebecca Pov
I woke up to see myself in a dark room. I tried to move but I couldn't

"Trevor! Trevor where are you!" I yelled and I heard nothing but an echo

"Momma!? Daddy!? Uncle?!"I yelled as I didn't hear anyone. All I heard was myself. I heard footsteps come from the shadows and I got scared. I started to cry as I heard the person or thing come closer

"Help..."I whimpered.

"You don't have to be afraid little girl" I heard a man say underneath an orange and black mask.

"What do you want from me?!"

"You see Rebecca, I came here to help you... "

"By chaining me to a wall? "

"This was the only way I could keep you calm. You see when I found you and your brother. I was going to help you out but I need a favor.."

"What's the favor?" I said as I saw my little brother walk from the darkness and stand beside the man.

"Trevor..." I whispered as I saw him in a weird outfit that matched the man's mask.

"Rebecca, do like your brother did. Join me... Become my apprentice as well"

" I don't know who you are sir! Or why my brother wearing that outfit but if it's a game it's not a good one."

"You don't know me.... I'm surprised your mother and uncle never said anything about me..but my name is Slade. You see your mother and uncle were my apprentices at one point but they disobeyed me and ran away. If they would have stayed this world would have been a better place"

"I won't join you, sir. I'm sorry but that sound too good to be true"

"You see Rebecca, you don't have a choice in the matter. If you don't join me you will be shocked by these chains, and each time you struggle, each time you squirm, each time you fidget, it gets ten times worse than the last" Slade said as I still didn't want to join him. All I want to do is go home and sleep.

"Like I said I won't j-"I was cut off by electricity flowing through my body as you screamed in pain

"Little girl....I don't want to ask any other time."He said as he sounded like he wanted me to join me. The electricity was still flowing through me as I screamed letting out a tear

"Come now apprentice, you have a lot to learn." Slade said as he started to train with my brother. I didn't know what was going on but I wanted out.

"Trevor no!" Don't do this!" I yelled as he turned around looking at me.

" I'm sorry... "He said as I felt my heart tear. My brother was going with this stranger. How does he know my family? And why is he after us?

The electricity started to increase as I screamed in pain. I was left chained up for three hours and a smoke gas was spread throughout the room I was in.

"ALRIGHT! Alright! I give up! I will join you" I said as I got shocked one last time and the gas got a little stronger but it went away.

"That's my girl" I heard Slade say as I was let go from the chains and I walked out the room. I didn't want to hear that anyone if it's not my uncle or my father calling me their girl.

"Let's just get the training started." I said as all three of started to train hard.
