Chapter 39: All a Lie

I blinked and fell face down onto the floor as I rose up and heard loud slamming, shattering and excessive cussing and I gasp and tried to ignore the jabbing pain in my spine and numb fingers. She tossed and threw books from the cabinet as he growled in impatience. She scrambling hard and looked around frantically in the cabinet as I rose up and tip-toed to her and grabbed her by their throat as she gasped and choke and I squeezed harder then she hit me numerous times in the crouch and threw me over like a sack of potatoes as the planks cracked and creaked under my butt then she smiled and pushed me away. She had no intention of fighting me? Then she used her class and pulled the hardwood and snapped it into pieces and smiled so wide that it almost spilt her mouth open. Hidden inside the boards was a deep ditch and small velvet box coated with a layer of dust.

"I...I finally found you."She gasped as she grabbed the small box as I stared at her. 

Flabbergasted and completely confused.I shouted,"What the hell is going on?" she rolled her eyes at me. But all I knew was whatever that bitch grasped in her hands was important and highly dangerous. What? The hell is going on? She raised it up and stared into the heavens and slowly opened the box and chained silver locket came out. It was circular-shaped and pressed an image of a wolf into it as it gleamed then Sapphire's eyes flashed...violet. I gasped and staggered in realization No, it can't be. She fumbled it and twirled it on her fingertips with a look of satisfaction. It's silver and yet she was unbothered and nothing fazed her skin but her eyes changed colour completely. Then she tapped it, twice then it expanded, bloomed like a flower then a shiny white gem glowed softly. The Rightaod locket? Here and now?But how did it appear here ? -my pack?

Then her appearance melted and slowly she distorted and changed. Her nails grew longer into wicked grey talons, her pupils into silts and her teeth grew sharp and pointed even longer than fangs.

"What? How?"I gasped.

"Ah, Zale."She said ,a look of disappointment and mock sadness on her features."Sweet, naive Zale. I've always wondered why werewolves are such narrow-minded fools who are oblivious to the world around them. I questioned your thought process about more specifically your age and this stupid hierarchy. Your age and your experience may not qualify for your expertise, "She paused, pursed her lips and stared at me intently as if look for a reaction but I just gawk still stunned."You must be wondering why a legendary locket is hidden under the floors of your father's office. He stole it of course, "She looked at the locket with pure glee and affection."And of course summoned and angered a famous demon that you guys nicknamed as 'Pink Eye'. So that's the reason why he's a warning and an important sacrifice. The revolution has begun."She shouted so loud and howled that I covered my ears and winced in pain.

"What the hell is happening anymore, "I yelled in frustration."Where the hell is Hamia?"I added as she chuckled loudly while she clicked her tongue. I felt so deceived, confused and anger like I was submerged in deep sea of lies and problems.

"Well, I got what I needed. I'm out."She saluted and leaped out as I chased her just to demand questions.

"What are you?"I demanded, my teeth clenched.

"I am epilsion. Ring a bell; your sister has met me before."She smiled.

"You're...you're that wolf with purple eyes that tired to get my sister. Nine fucking years ago."I screamed, my eyes flashed again and I clenched and unclenched my fist. All the ager that was bottled inside me was ready to explode. A low growl rumbled from my throat. He was just beneath the surface ready to lunge and attack with one more tick. My senses were clouded with rage and frenzy.

"Wolves like me are simply just hated for being alive."She scolded me as she shook her head. I howled, fell on four feet then shifted not caring that my clothes ripped in heaps. After she recovered instantly and laughed hysterically and beckoned me to her. She took long strides then we circled each other as she stared at the dark hardwood floor, cabinet then me as I raised a brow then with another. I collided with her and caught her wrist and twisted her body then she grinned then kicked me the abdomen from behind. I dropped to a crouch then tripped me as she blurred then threw me forcefully onto the wooden wall as I grunted in pain and cracks seeped from behind me and I gasped.

Denver completely taking over, we used our werewolf speed I aggressively zigzagged through the trees leaping over moss and boulders my paws pounded loudly on the ground the forest seemed to end in a harsh blur ,I saw that wolf ,I gained on her, she kept stopping her purple eyes have been exposed hidden with the golden eyes .

She stopped at the end of the darkening forest the sun seems the hide as it welcomes the darkness overlapping the sky I braced myself my hind legs up my paws down as I growl, she circles as I get ready to attack, instantaneously wolves form a circle around me gaining on me ,I peered at their eyes, their eyes lifeless and dull only colour there is purple or golden like hers ,their dirty grey ,muddy brown fur but their scent is all too familiar is my pack mates judging by their eyes ,she has mind controlled them. That witch, boom goes the thunder strikes loudly in front of us burning the grass ,the rain pounded heavily ,wetting my fur ,I barked at the wolf .bright green eyes peered from the peaks of forest stepped out a bark brown wolf ,fairly large but look fluffy unusually for a wolf ,it stood next to up ,emitting his power .

Instantly, a black ring encloses me a cyclone of black dust whooshes through the air ,the cursed wolf eyes glow ,they pounce .I leaped .They bit my hind leg as I twisted pouncing ,several shadow wolf crowd on me , going through me like thunder blinding me ,the rain pounds louder ,the sky choked with shadows and darkness. a cyclone of dust covers the sky ,boom. Strikes the thunder again in front of me floats a giant creature in the form of lady, shapeless with pointed teeth and its hideous pink eyes.

the wolves crowded on me ,stopping me from any movement ,the demon lunged through the air ,quickly fire sparks licking the grass instantly the fire is blue and black swallowing everything in its path ,burning the cabins and causing wolves in a frenzy and havoc .wolves darting like bees ,killing it each other house collapsing into ashes and dead trees ,wolf bodies littered around like .screaming ,

Why Selene? Why moon goddess? Maybe I'm not Alpha material .I cried .My clothes drenched in blood, dried and fresh outfit everything so far is a giant lie .what other things are hidden from me? I'm just a mere twenty year old and I still feel stupid ?I looked at the sky my body stained with mud ,blood and dirt ,raindrops drumming on my head I slowly. I cocked my body as I trudged ,people where being burnt alive ,I observed turquoise using her powers freezing the wolves ,I saw turquoise ,her clothes clinging to her body like a second skin ,causing her bra to flash from her blood- stained white oversized shirt ,dirt stained on her shorts ,her fingertips stained with blue ,her eyes shown a hue of turquoise ,"Alpha ,what's going on !"She yelled, waving her hands frantically her eyes flickered. I simply sighed."We've got a war to plan."She smiled with determination.

After the attack, we become worried .We have to fix the pack.

Don't worry Hamia, I'll find you. The pack reshaped itself .I sent the enforcers and asked the pack's oracle to help put a force field around the pack, maybe the curse is in my generation.
