I still can't shake off the feeling about that guy. He was too calm about things. Plus he KNEW me and I DON'T know him. Then he freezes time like nothing and somehow numbed my magic. It was like a million magic blocker chains weighing you down.

In all, that guy really freaked me out. If he really wanted to he could have killed me and-

No stop talking like that Melody. Get a grip of your self!

But at any he could've really kil- hurt Natsu, Lucy, and Happy.

Ok enough talking about this. We have a mission to complete.

"Melody," I heard Natsu's rough voice," snap out of it! What's wrong?!"

For all this time I didn't notice I spaced out. During that time as well, we got surrounded by what I think might be our target. Or I should say 'targets'.

I'm certain I heard Natsu and I'm conscious, but I still can't move. What's up with me not moving! Like what the hell is this karma or something!

I look around what I can see. Five guys dress like they would steal and kill for anything. Blood lust is in the air. There might even be more. And the only S class wizard is disabled. This sucks.

I also noticed Lucy was pretty beat up. But Natsu was smoking like he been fighting for a good amount of time. How long have I been out.

One more thing I noticed. Someone is using water magic to disable me. The person is doing this by controlling my blood cause technically it's water. I know it's stupid.

The person who is doing this is probably hidden cause doing that sort of magic..well leaves you like an open target. He's probably behind. Probably using a cloaking device too cause I can't sense him.

Damn what a situation we are in. Ok this is too much for Lucy and Natsu. It's my turn to take a shot at these boys.

"Hey Melody it would be really nice if, you know, help!" Natsu said tiredly.

"I wouldn't waste my breathe if I were you," said one of the guys who had blood red hair that did not suit him well," she can't hear you. Not under the spell."

"What- WHAT YOU GUYS DO TO HER!"

"How they take down Melody without even touching her." Lucy asked quietly.

"Lucy you need rest. And Melody can't fight. Damn."

"Come on pinked hair man,"another goon says to Natsu and sounds like somethings scratching his throat," let's see how much more you can take."

"Na-Natsu." I say very quietly.

He didn't turn around I need to be a little more louder so his keen senses can hear me.

"Nat-su. Natsu. Natsu."

He turns around so fast he almost gave me a scare.

"Melody are you ok?"

"I'm f-ine," it's taking me all my strength at this level of my magic to just communicate, how embarrassing,"Na-tsu I n-eed you to- shoot me w-with f-ire."

"Why!" He looks at me crazy for a moment then says,"Oooo....wait......ok one moment then."

He carries Lucy bridal style to the entrance to the forest to keep her out of harms way. What we're about to do might give her extreme burns or a toasty tan.

Natsu then jumps up into the air and screams," FIRE DRAGON BRILLIANT FLAME!!"

The fire comes rushing towards me. This should give me enough energy to take off my magic restraints, so I can actually fight. The flame hit its target.

Then next thing I heard was: "Wow. How dumb are you?"

"Attack one of your comrades. Really. Do you still think you can beat us?"

"You guys don't know what your talking about." I hear Natsu say with a smile.

When the smoke cleared the guys who were calling my brother an idiot were now looking at me wide eyed.

"He might be able to fight you guys," I gave them a wicked grin," but I can."

The next moments felt like blurs. The pace I was moving at was like light speed. The guys didn't even know what hit them.

In five minutes, the guys were all on the ground groaning from all the pain. I could have given them a quick suffering but that wouldn't be fun..... Now would it?

Melody. Hold your self together.

Now time to get the last guy. He was the one hiding and tried control me.

"To the one hiding, I advise you to come out and fight. The technique will no longer work!" I yelled to the surrounding trees.

"Heh. Looks like you caught me sweet heart." He came out with his hands up from a close bush.

"We can do this the hard way or easy way. Your choice." I warn him.

"How kind of you letting me choose." He said darkly. He then came to attack me.

He was quick I have to say. I looked around and saw Natsu with Lucy protecting her. Poor things must be so tired. I have to finish this quick, so they can have medical attention.

I dodge his attacks and take a swing at him. He catches my fist and hold there with a strong grip. He caught my right arm so I set my hand on fire. I was expecting him to let go immediately but he gave me a death glare and let go. I made sure I was a good few feet away from this guy, so I did a back flip and landed on some tall rocks decently far enough from him.

"Your interesting one aren'tcha?" I said with a grin.

"Sorry what was that," he put his right hand nest to his ear and said," I didn't hear ya. How about you come over here and tell me whatcha said, Sweetheart."

Damn! He sure knows how to make a girl angry! I made sure I did my most wicked growl and faster than he could say Sweetheart I was in front of him. I looked him straight in the eye and uppercutted him so hard that even so of my knuckles hurt.

He went flying. I squinted my eyes as a saw him land in the forest and whistled.

"Well he isn't going to be up in-"

"Heya Sweetheart," I tried to turn around but he already had my arms behind my back," that wasn't very nice of you." He said in a sickening whisper.

"B-but you should be-" I said shocked.

"Well. We didn't formally introduce ourselves, so you might not know who I am." He said in such a calm voice it was maddening.

"I punched you- should not even be walking." I say while trying to escape his grasp.

"Now now. I'm supposed to bring you alive so stop your squirming."

I had enough of this. I'm going to burn this man in the deepest pits of hell. Just need to... Got it. Oh boy. He's going to need a doctor.

"MAGIC RESTRAINT RELEASE!" I shout with anger. A full new force of energy burst with in me.

"Whoa whoa there. Someone's got a trump card," he puts his hand in pocket and comes out with a ring," guess I won't hold back either."

"By the way. My name is Melody. Not Sweetheart."

"Nah I like Sweetheart better sweetheart." He slips on a the ring and I since a new magic around us, dark magic. "Names Kirov and your coming with me, Sweetheart."
