I hate this dude already. It doesn't help to also know he's the reason why Natsu and his 'girlfriend', Lucy are heading towards the guild far away from here. Which is good. I don't want them get any more hurt than they are. I especially feel bad since I was like half frozen in my thoughts and half conscious.

But this guy.

He's different from those goons Natsu and I took out. He's more....more...

How do I say it without being to complicated....?

He uses his head more than the others. Yea that sounds right. This guy compared to the others actually plans things out. He knew I was going to be thinking in my mind, which made me an open target for him to use his magic. And then another reason why you can tell this guy is absolutely intelligent is that he can use a forbidden/forgotten magic. Hydroce they call it. Hydroce basically allows you to control any water. Since, our bodies are made up of 70% of water and the fact that I was not paying attention, he had free control of my body. But depending on how strong the magic user is, you can break the spell like how did by unleashing some of my stored up magic.

I have a feeling though that guy wasn't even trying to keep hold of me for long. That's why I say this guy is smart. He planed all of this. Which also concludes he knows the guy who can control time, which is also a scary thought to be honest.

Ok enough thinking this guy could be trying to figure out a way to use his magic again. Hydroce can be a good advantage to have to buy you sometime to think of a clever and tactical plan. I wouldn't want him to have the upper hand here.

I move my fingers to make sure I'm not under the spell again. All clear. Good to go.

Since he's not moving I'll make the first move.

I dash quickly and swiftly up to where he is and with all my strength I punch him in the throat. He does nothing but just looks like me like I'm wild animal and like he's trying to cage me. When I'm back at my spot on the gigantic bolder, I see only a shadow run across a few inches away from me. I suddenly feel a rough pain hit my neck. I crash down the bolder coughing like crazy. When I reach the ground I can barely breathe.

I then feel big cold hands lift me up from by neck.

"Now Sweetheart we don't need to make this any more harder than it needs to be," he looks at his watch," look I don't have all day. My orders were to bring you back with me alive, sadly. I thought it would've been easier bringing you back dead to be honest. But noooooo. The council wanted you alive." He said tiredly.

This guy wanted me dead. I could tell from his expression deep within his voice. He had no intentions to do this the easy way. I'm ok with that. This isn't the first time I was in a situation like this.

"Fine you want to do it like that," I look down so he can't see my eyes and I start to laugh," I'll play."

"MAGIC RESTRAINT RELEASE!!!"  I yell and instantly like a real fire I begin to burn in Krov's grasp.

He quickly let's go and begins to start to look at me like I'm a freak show. "Heh. They did say that this wouldn't be easy."

They. Who are they? The whatever council he mentioned earlier?

"FIRE DRAGON ROARRRR!!!!!"

"Easy kid." He started to sound worried. Good.

I slash and dash at him but he keeps dodging. Every time I come more slowly he pokes me on spine, arms, legs, and etc. He's playing something I need to think.

No we don't. We just kill. He hurt Natsu and friend Lucy. WE MUST KILL.

Is that me?

For that moment I stop dead in my tracks, I've never heard that voice in my head. Only my own thoughts. That wasn't me.

---- P.O.V -- 3rd person ----

Krov took this moment to his advantage and summoned something he thought might counter this little girls tantrum. He summoned one of his water spirits named Wave.

"Listen Boy," He pointed to a zoned out Melody," we need this girl. We need her alive too. So do me a favor and get her."

Wave howled and began to run towards Melody.

From deep within her thoughts, suddenly Melody looked up and simply stepped aside from the dog's direction.

She looked questionably at it. Wondering why would Krov summon a spirit that she can easily counter with both of her abilities.

She didn't want to hurt the spirit but she thought if she could distract it for a few moments so she could get rid- defeat it's master.

"WATER MANIPULATION: BONE! " She yelled.

She then turned happily towards the dog water spirit and said in a puppy voice," Here boy! I have a nice juicy bone for you!" She willed the bone to go side to side in front of the dogs face. He looked at it with puppy eyes. The poor thing was just a puppy, she couldn't and didn't want to hurt it. "Here goooooo fetch!" Melody threw the water bone as far as she could. She would only have a few moments now to defeat Krov.

While she was distracted with the water spirit, Krov ran fast toward her with fist of water.

The battle began. Krov got the first hits that were filled anger. Melody now filled with a new more stronger power within her, took the hits. When Krov was still punching Melody got his fist and said," You need to chill." What she didn't know is that she made a mistake by grabbing him. She now knew why his hands were so cold.

Krov's ring began to glow and ice started to swallow Melody's arm. She instantly let go and put some much needed space between them. But instead of landing swiftly she slipped on the now icy ground. Krov made a frozen desert around them.

"Heh your a lot tougher than I thought kid," he smiled crazily toward her," it's my turn to show you what I got."

He came at Melody at an alarming rate. His fist now both solid ice. Every time Melody got hit by one of them they instantly froze that one spot. She needed to warm up and fast.

"FIRE DRAGON BRILLIANT FLAME!" She directed it towards the ground but when the smoke disappeared all she saw was the ice ground still intact and a wild Krov dashing towards her.

He grab a hold of her and threw her against the ice floor. "I wouldn't worry about trying to melt the ice surrounding us. It's unstable ice which means it can't melt." He then started laughing hysterically.

Melody got to her feet easily. She felt blood trickle down her right arm and her head. It was warm unlike her. She was not completely cold but she felt the cold bite her skin. It was gnawing away her warmth. This was a dangerous dark magic.

---- P.O.V -- Melody's ----

This man. This man gave up a lot of things to gain this type of power. Just like me. This is dark magic after all. This poor guy probably gave up his sanity for this type of power. His death will be quick and swift. I agree with the voice. I will give him peace in his suffering,

Controlling two elements is already easy to me, but this guy can't control it. It's making him crazy.

"Krov. I know what you did," I looked down unable to look him the eyes," and I understand your pain and suffering you go through, so I will make this quick."

He looked like he wanted to strangle me, but instead he froze his feet and stood tall still smiling. This time though his smile was genuine.

I felt a hot tear run across my cold face. I hate people who do this to regular wizards. I understand now why he didn't want to capture me cause he had the power to probably match my 2nd magic restraint release. He didn't capture me because he didn't want to let me go threw what he did or..... I don't remember what else I was going to say there. I forgot. I tend to do that a lot now.

It will be quick. He won't feel anything with this attack, I say to myself.

After all, this is not the real Krov. He deserves peace of mind.

"CRIMSON LOTUS: EXPLODING FLAME BLADE!" The hurtle of fire fully envelops Krov. In seconds the ice melts away.

Krov is no more.

Where Krov was standing, smoke rises into the now gloomy dull sky. An innocent man who was a victim to a horrible plan died today. Will anybody remember him? I will remember him. But there's nothing left to prove he was once-

I was taken out of my thought when I heard rustle in the bushes. Out came a small water puppy. He now only came up to my high knees. This is the last thing Krov left. I will cherish it.

"Here boy." I called out to the puppy. He came without no hesitation. In my arms, he whined. He knows what I did and he knows what his owner was victimized to.

The once ferocious spirit as tall a tree, is now a puppy that can go up to my knees.

He's a water spirit. He can change to different sizes to whatever he pleases, so right now he must feel small.

You worry to much about small things. What we really need to talk about is how-

I interrupted the wicked voice in my head by saying,"Magic restraints on." Tiredly, I felt the magic that I just used and along with the wicked voice zip away from me and leave me with only 013645086457890 of a quarter of my magic like always. I can only remember a few things about my past including how many restraints I have. Maybe 013645086457890 like I said I don't remember. 

 I can't remember.

I tend to do that a lot.

But maybe.....

.....it's for the best that I don't remember my past and what happened to me.....
