"MELODY! WAKE UP!" I heard someone yell at me.

I woke up with shock and drowsiness in my thoughts. I looked around at my surroundings.

In my room. With an intruder.

My brother.

I get up from my bed at walk over to him. I then punched him on his muscular arm.

"Ow hey what was that for!" He yelled a little softer.

"Next time don't yell at me while I was peacefully sleeping. I thought there was some one in my house and thought you were in trouble." I said in a deadly whisper.

"Sorry Mel. I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to go on a request." He said with that goofy smile of his.

"Uh sure? What is it?"

"Well I don't know. We haven't chosen it yet."

"Oh then," I feel adrenaline and excitement flowing through me," let's go! No time to lose!"

I then grabbed Natsu by the arm and dragged him out of my house all the way to the guild.

---- Time Lapse -- At the Guild ----

I looked behind me to see Natsu flat on the ground.

I said in a faint whisper,"Oops. Sorry Natsu."

He said dizzily," I-it's al-right but that felt just as ba-d as a m-moving tr-ain."

"Oh you have motion sickness too? But I was running. I'm not a train or a moving objec-," I thought about it for a moment,"oh wait that's exactly what I was right there. Oops. Uh, sorry."

"It's okay." He said more smoothly.

"Okay now let's look for a job request!"

"Hey you two." I heard a familiar voice behind us say."

"Hey Luce."

"Lucy!" I ran over and gave her a big hug.

"Hey Melody. What ya doing?" She asked nicely.

"We're looking for job request." Natsu answered shockingly calm.

"We're going to beat up stuff!" I fist bumped into the air.

"Yea. I'm all fired up!" Natsu said loudly.

"Don't you guys think that any of these requests will be to easy for Melody?"

"Oh. I forgot about that." I say in a quiet voice.

"Yea me too." Natsu said in a quiet voice too.

"Hey cheer up. Maybe there's another way." Lucy said confidently.

"OH! I have an idea! What if we go on a S-class request?" I said happily.

"Um I'm not sure. For that we will have to ask the higher up."

"Please I think it'll be fine. I mean it's just S-class."

"Yea lucky for you. Your a S-S-class wizard. The S-class won't even be a challenge for you."  Natsu whined.

"Come on let's just ask Master." I said with determination in my voice.

---- Time Lapse -- After a long. . . discussion ----

"Wow. I can't believe you actually got him to say yes." Lucy said surprised.

"Well I did, but when we come back I'm going to have a huge lecture on how I can't use my abilities and experience to do this, and this, and this." I made an annoyed look on my face.

"Hey come on at least we can go on a quest where it won't be easy or hard. And we'll beat up stuff and monsters." My brother said happily.

"Yea, you're right. Come on!"

We all rushed to the S-class request board. Natsu spots one quickly.

Help wanted to get rid of dark forces.

"This one doesn't have a lot of description. . .but I think it'll be fine." Natsu said normally, but I look at it intensely.

Something tells me. . .

I have a bad. . . .feeling. . .

But Natsu picked it so I guess it'll be alright.

I turn to Lucy and ask her," Hey Lucy want to come with us?"

"Yea sure. I need money for rent anyway. And this will be fun!" She said with a smile.

"What about Erza, Gray, and Wendy? Do they want to come?" I asked.

"Oh. They went on a quest earlier this morning."

"So just us. Awesome! More beating up bad guys for us." Natsu said excitedly.

"Yea now come on. Let's go pack." Lucy said with excitement in her tone.

---- Time Lapse -- On the train ----

"Ugh t-his is t-he w-worst p-art of a-ll." Natsu said.

" I k-know r-ight?" I said.

"So both of ya have motion sickness. Great. Just great." Lucy complained.

"I-T'S N-NOT O-UR F-FA-ULT!" Natsu and I yelled.

---- Time Lapse -- After Train ---- 

"*Sigh* This much better." I said walking through the forest.

"So we should be arriving soon." Lucy said while looking at the paper.

"Finally! Cause so far its been boring." Natsu said pouting

"Don't worry its just-"

Lucy was saying something but now I can't hear her. Nor can I hear Natsu or anything living around me. And everything is black and white too. I look around and see nothing is even moving. Not Natsu, Happy, or Lucy. Not good.

What's going on? This isn't normal, I thought. And I've seen some strange stuff.

Out of nowhere I see this guy who is colorful and staring straight at me. My instincts come up and I tried to summon my fire and water. But nothing appeared.

I tried.

I tried.

And I tried again.

And each time I fail once again.

I hear him say," Do you not remember me? Oh what a shame. What a shame indeed."

I try to say something but no words come out.

He continues," I mean I can't believe you don't remember me Mel. I mean how could you- Wait you were only small back then, so you probably don't remember me."

I feel my anger rising up more and more.

Finally he ends off with," Well its been fun. See you later Melody." Then he waves and everything goes back to normal. And I see and hear that everything is back to normal once again.

But everything came rushing in too quickly, so I ran toward where the man was standing. I look around eagerly trying to spot any signs of him there.

I mean what the hell. He just came out of nowhere and froze time. He even took my magic! How can he even do that! And he somehow knows me, but he doesn't even explains how he does. Like what the hell! In what kind of mind can you do that!

But I do know one thing.

His presence. . . .

. . . . was familiar . .

But it was to familiar. . .

Who was that guy?

Why hello everyone one! I'm back did ya miss me? Lol well I'm going to keep writing because I have more ideas and I don't want to forget them. I hope your enjoying the story.
