"no need to be afraid, chenle." kun stated as he placed an arm around chenle as they walked inside the hospital building. "it's just your mother." kun continued. chenle scoffed, "i know she's my mother but she didn't have to indirectly say that to weijung without even proof!"
kun sighed, "lets just hope she won't separate you from dream team."
"i hope so too, hyung." chenle muttered as they both went inside the room. there she was, chenle's mother next to a doctor. "chenle!" chenle's breath hitched as his mom walked up to him, engulfing him in a hug. "a-ah, mom.." he muttered in chinese.
hours passed, chenle was done with his check up, but his mother wasn't done with him. "chenle." his mom called as soon as they walked out of the building. chenle pressed his lips into a thin line as he turned to face his mother, "what?"
"who's this weijung someone told me about– the person told me that she was the reason for that stabbing incident." chenle's mother raised a brow. "who is she?"
"mom– weijung isn't the one who stabbed me! she's innocent." chenle told his mom.
"really? then why did the person tell me—"
"the person was trying to frame weijung! i have no idea who that person is and what he/she wants, weijung wasn't the cause or the one who stabbed me." chenle grunted and crossed his arms.
"then who is she? why are you protecting her?" chenle's mom furrowed her brows and narrowed her eyes onto chenle.
chenle sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "she's a student at my school and i like her very much." he confessed.
"you like a girl?" chenle's mom was shocked. "but, we were going to set you up."
"with who?" chenle perplexed, not knowing of that sudden plan.
"with nam jieun, do you know her?" his mom questioned. chenle's eyes widened after hearing the name come out of his mom's mouth. "what? do you even know who she is?" chenle frowned.
his mom shrugged, "the nam's were convincing me– we're not really on good terms but they wanted to do so."
"mom, no." chenle declined. "i'm not letting you set me up with anyone but weijung."
"who is this weijung anyways? do i perhaps know her by any chance?" his mom asked.
"i'll introduce her to you another time, mom. we still have to go back to school– tomorrow is the start of the fair." chenle informed her before leaving with his kun-hyung.
"how did the talking go?" kun asked chenle as he turned around to face chenle. chenle sighed, "i'm not sure why and what's happening but mom wants to set me up with jieun."
"jieun? who's jieun?"
"jieun—nam jieun.. THE nam eunji." chenle said and rolled his eyes. "now we really know that eunji is definitely alive."
"what? how did you know that eunji is jieun." kun raised a brow.
"hyung! remember? eunji said it herself, she's not eunji anymore, she's jieun." chenle said and huffed. "i'm not going on a date with such girl– she's horrible."
"but chenle, you never told us who actually stabbed you." kun narrowed his eyes on chenle. chenle clasped his hands together, "it was a blurry vision, hyung. i just know– it's killerkiller."
"alright then, chenle. here's your stop." kun said as the car stopped in front of the gate. chenle waved goodbye to kun before entering the school gates. once again, he was back to the twisted school he actually adores. well, he wouldn't adore it if he didn't have great friends but he did so why not?
"chenle!! how was the talk?" heeyeon asked the boy as he walked in the headquarters. chenle sighed, "i have no idea who's onto this– it's just a mess."
"why? what did your mom say?" renjun tilted his head and looked at chenle.
"she's setting me up with someone." chenle frowned and crossed his arms. "and this someone is no other than nam jieun."
"n-nam jieun?" nayoung shot her head up.
"as in.. eunji?" jaemin stared at chenle in disbelief. chenle nodded slowly, "isn't that horrible? then eunji's definitely alive– actually she's probably planning another death plan of hers."
as chenle talked with them, he noticed that two of the members were missing. "uhh, where's weijung and donghyuck-hyung?" he asked and looked around the room.
"ahh, weijung went out to the library i think? donghyuck helped her i guess.." jeno trailed off.
"oh okay, i'll just go to the cafeteria! i want something to drink." chenle announced before leaving. it was the final day of the decorating, tomorrow was the official start of the fair. "the night looks so cold–" chenle murmured as he walked down the hallway, his eyes on the windows of the building, looking towards the sky.
that's when he bumped into a person harshly, the person falling onto the ground. his eyes widened as he noticed it was girl. "o-oh i'm sorry." he stuttered and helped the girl stand up slowly. the girl was utterly surprised by suddenly bumping with a boy– a good looking boy that is.
she instantly bowed which made chenle flustered. "ah! i'm new, jung hyeri!" the girl brightly said while giving chenle a huge smile. "i-i'm actually a new student."
"new student? school has started a few weeks ago–" chenle muttered.
"yeah, but i was transferred from my old school late and this is the closest school i could go so yeah. could you show me around?" hyeri grinned and grabbed onto chenle's arm. chenle awkwardly chuckled, "you're not hurt are you? after i harshly bumped into you– maybe i could bring you to the clinic or something.." chenle said while hyeri raised a brow.
"uhh, i guess so but isn't the teacher or something will be the one that will show you around?" chenle questioned hyeri. hyeri shook her head at his question. chenle frowned before sighing, "alright fine."

"why the heck are you following me." i grunted as donghyuck continued to follow me everywhere i go. donghyuck crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, "hello? i fucking don't want you hurt or something." donghyuck said. i scoffed, "okay, geez– you didn't have to curse or something." i said and crossed my arms.
"why do you need so many books anyways? are these even important? would you even read them all?" he bombarded me with many questions. i sighed, "they are important silly, just help me carry them." i grabbed the books i needed and placed it on top of donghyuck's arm as he carried the books.
"do you think renjun would like these books?" i asked him as i pointed at the books. donghyuck squinted his eyes, "these are for renjun?"
i nodded and grinned, "aren't i so nice? it would help him a lot!"
"some are korean books! since he loves learning korean." i stated. donghyuck scoffed, "how about me? i like books too!"
"you? i have never even seen you touch a textbook or some book from the library." i said and crossed my arms as we walked back to the headquarters. as we got back, i noticed that chenle still hasn't gotten back yet.
"where's chenle?" i questioned them.
"ooh! he went out i think?" jisung smiled at me. i smiled back and nodded, "alright then."
"weijung, do you want to get some drinks with us?" jaemin asked me as he stood by the door with jeno. i nodded and caught up to them. "let's go!" i said and pulled them towards the cafeteria. we brought drinks to keep us awake all night to finish things for tomorrow's booth touch up in the morning.
"is that chenle?" jeno tilted his head and nudged jaemin causing me to also turning to look. we saw chenle on a table, drinking something with a.. girl? the girl was honestly cute.
"yeah, looks like it," jaemin agreed. "i mean, he has an apple watch." he chuckled.
"yah, your drinks." i stated and nudged all of them and pointed at their drinks on the counter. "get them."
they nodded and grabbed it before we walked out the cafeteria. "why is hyeri here?"
