Natsu's POV

~*~Earlier that day~*~

"You like Lucy, don't you?"

Lisanna and I where walking through the forest where I first found Happy, in his white and blue egg.

"H-how can you..?" I asked

She giggled. "It's not too hard to see."

I stared at her blankly.

"What does that mean...?"

"Oh Natsu. You will never change." Lisanna shakes her head.

"Huh?!" I scratch the back of my head.

"Am I missing something?"

"I'm guessing you don't have that silly crush on me anymore do you?" She asks laughing.

I continue to just stare.

She folded her arms. "Has Lucy at least told you how she feels?"

"Luce, you said my name." I emphasized

"What does that mean?" I ask

"It, well it means my heart wants you..." She whispered almost silently.

"Yeah, kinda." I murmur thinking back on it.

"And what did you do?" Lisanna looks at me.

"I just sorta left... I wasn't sure what to do.." I laugh nervously.

"Natsu!!! Common, you gotta go tell her how you feel!" She takes off back towards the guild dragging me behind her.

"Oi! Lisanna what's this all about?!" I question her.

"I can't let Lucy get the wrong idea! You need to tell her Natsu!!" We continue running.

~*~ Timeskip: that evening ~*~

We slowed to a walk as we reached the guild.

"I'm going home Mira." I hear Lucy's voice inside the guild hall. She walks out and spots us.

"Lucy!" Lisanna waves to her.

Lucy smiles and waves back.

"Natsu told me what happened." Lisanna tells her.

"So is that why you were gone today?" She asks.

"No, actually I wanted to go visit the forest where we used to play together." Lisanna laughs.

"Oh, well I'm going home." Lucy waves to us and begins to leave.

"Wait, Luce." I quickly call out to her.

"Lucy, I used to like Natsu, but I don't anymore. Not like that. And he feels the same." Lisanna says.

Lucy turned around. "But I thought-"

Lisanna shook her head quieting Lucy.

"Thank you though Lucy." She smiles and runs into the guild, leaving Lucy and I standing alone.

"I'm sorry I left last night, I just didn't know how to handle it." I apologize rubbing the back of my head.

"Baka, you made me think you didn't like me at all!" She shakes her head

"But I do like you Lucy." I finally tell her after a short pause.

She turns around.

"You could have explained things." She mutters.

I reached out and turned her around.

I held my face just inches from her own.

"Well I am now, and I like you Lucy. A lot." I say in a low voice.

I see blush cross her face.

Then I just leaned in and kissed her instinctively.

Lucy's POV

The second his lips touched mine electricity shot through me. I was blushing like crazy, but I was happy.

He pulled away from me and seems to be blushing a little himself

"He's so adorable..."

I laugh a little.

He looks at me a little confused.

"I guess even you can get embarrassed!" I tease him.

"Hey-!" He scowls at me and pouts.

I poke his cheek and he grins again.

Then he grabs me suddenly and kisses me again.

"I love you Luce, don't forget that." He whispers to me.

"I won't Natsu. Not ever." I tell him,
