Questions, Lots of Them

Woop there's over 200 of yall now which I don't understand but okay

Phone Tower POV

I knocked on James' door in a panic. I looked down at Alex who looked deathly pale. I was only able to stop the bleeding in one stab wound and slow down the other one. It was a long run from where we were at to get to Aaron's house, which meant he had been slowly bleeding out the entire time. I frowned as he whimpered every time he had to move, which was a lot.

The door finally opened and I saw a frantic James standing there. "What the fuck Thom- oh shit"

"James help I don't know what to do he's slowly dying and the only person I can think of to help is you," I spoke fast as Alex rose his head slightly to look at James.

"...I know someone, put Alex in the car and try and stop whatever bleeding there is," James told me. I nodded and went to the car, setting Alex down and applying pressure to the second wound he had.

James called for Aaron and they both sat in the front, James in the driver's seat and Aaron in the passenger seat.

I rested Alex's head on my lap after I stopped the bleeding. I ran my fingers through his hair to get his attention off the pain and at one point he grabbed my hand. I tried to move it away but he held a firm grip on it.

James drove us to a building just out of town and went inside to talk to someone. Minutes later a few doctors came out with a stretcher and got Alex on it. A dissatisfied whine came from him went he was taken away from me and I was glad that most of my blush was concealed.

"What is this place anyways?" I asked James, who was leaning on Aaron's arm.

"Its a hospital, but for hybrids like you guys. I stumbled upon this place a few years back when I was doing some research to help you. I'm glad I found this place or Alex would've been as good as dead."

I nodded and kept the route we took to get here in mind. Something told me we would be coming here a lot more in the future.

Midget POV

I groaned as the bright lights invaded my vision. I felt a lot better but was still a bit sore. I looked around the room when I noticed my ears were still revealed. I had a slight moment of panic, thinking I was going to be sent away to be killed after they discharged me.

A nurse came in shortly after and I blinked in confusion when I saw the beautiful wings she had folded behind her back.

"You're a..." I started but she cut me off.

"Yep! This is a hospital for hybrids so don't feel panicked about your ears and tail," she spoke gently, rubbing behind my ears. I gave a small whine of satisfaction.

She giggled and checked my vitals. "You're lucky you came in when you did, 30 minutes later and you've been dead."

I sighed and nodded, looking for my phone. I spotted it and picked it up, sending George a message saying that I'm fine and staying at a friend's place. I didn't specify who, exactly, but I didn't think it would matter. (A/N Yes it will)

The nurse then pulled out a chair and set it next to my bed, looking at me with a serious face.

"Alex, I'm going to need you to answer these questions as honest as possible, okay?"

I nodded, confused.

"What caused you to retain your injuries?"

"That's obvious, I was out hunting."

"Was it a large group of people you were hunting?"

I nodded.

"...was someone else hunting with you?"

I nodded. Thomas was probably worried sick about me. I don't understand why but I just know he was.

"Was it another hybrid? And if so, what type?"

"Yes, and he's a bat hybrid."

"I see...these next questions are gonna be on the weirder side, okay?"

I nodded in response.

"Have you been relying more on your animal instincts?"

"Yeah, it gets annoying at times."

"More cravings?"

I nodded and frowned.

"...do you feel like you can trust that hybrid?"

I nodded, whatever happened on that night for sure changed my view on Thomas.

"Do you feel a sort of bond between them?"

I nodded again.

"If something were to happen to them, would you try and take revenge?"

I found myself nodding, weird.

"Okay then, thank you for your honesty," the nurse got up, wrote some notes and left.

I frowned more and let out a small howl. I wanted to talk to Thomas and see if he was okay.

3rd yeet

Thomas perked up when he heard the quiet howl. How he heard it, he didn't know but he knew it belonged to Alex and got up, asking to see him.

The lady told Thomas Alex's room number and he, James, and Aaron walked up to Alex's room.

Thomas knocked on the door and heard a quiet "come in" from Alex before opening the door.

Alex gave them a warm smile and did a quick scan over everyone to see if they were hurt. James was smart enough to stuff an extra shirt for Thomas in his car and let Thomas change before they got there.

"Hey, are you doing okay?" Thomas asked quietly, in which Alex hummed in response. Thomas took a seat next to Alex's bed and sighed. "You really scared me out there, y'know?"

Alex chuckled softly. "Sorry for not being able to predict when someone is going to stab me, twice."

Thomas punched Alex's arm gently and laughed. Alex joined in then looked at James and Aaron, a grin spreading across his face.

"You guys finally figured out your feelings for each other?" Alex asked, still grinning.

"S-shut up Alex!" James stuttered, flustered. Aaron just hid his face in James' arm, groaning.

Alex laughed more and James balled up a scrap piece of paper, throwing it at Alex. Alex whimpered and pouted as James started to laugh.

Everyone quieted down as the door opened and the nurse stepped in, worry written on her face.

"Which one of you is the bat hybrid?"

Thomas rose one hand up, confused. He didn't realize that he had slipped his other hand into Alex's or if it was the other way round.

"Good, I need to talk to you and Alex...alone."
