I would've gotten this out but I got my phone taken away for the day so I'm working on this now. I feel like this chapter will be fluff because smol Elizabeth bab. We'll see. Also in addition to my other fanfics, I wanna write a BMC fanfic with a setting/plot that I have not seen yet. Also the title makes me giggle every time I read it. Dkfjfkdb enough rambling and enjoy the chapter.

Maria flew into the forest, looking around until she stopped inches away from Aaron.

She creeped up behind him and covered his eyes with her hands. He flinched and moved her hands away, looking back at her.

"Hahaha very funny Maria," Aaron said sarcastically, earning a giggle from Maria.

"Nice to see you too Aaron, what ate you guys doing out in the opening...and who is that?" Maria questioned, looking at Elizabeth.

"She's Alex's new pu-" James started but got a swift punch and glare from Alex.

"This is Elizabeth, she was wandering around and I found her," Alex answered. Elizabeth waved shyly and hugged Alex's leg.

"Awee, she's so cute!" Maria gushed and shrieked when Herc picked her up suddenly.

"So, you guys holdin up well?" Herc asked with a causal smile, ignoring Maria's piercing glare.

"We're holding up well. We were actually on our way to find you two. Turns out you beat us to it," James responded, plucking out a flower for Elizabeth. She happily took it and instead put it in his hair. He smiled.

"Well, let's continue on our trip, huh? Since Alex has a small one to look over he can watch and make sure...things aren't interrupted," Aaron spoke, a little impatient.

Alex huffed but agreed. "Next time you're watching her Thomas."

"Sure, whatever you say love," Thomas kissed Alex's cheek and Alex smiled, picking up Elizabeth and putting her on his back.

Everyone went their separate ways and Alex perched himself on the top of a tree with Elizabeth, looking over the city with a satisfied grin.

"Okay so, we need to get either Herc and Maria back to normal in order to get everyone else back. They're the ones with the capability to revert whatever effect the whistle had on them," Theo explained, everyone else nodding.

"What about those?" Eliza pointed out, looking at the untouched section in Theo's folder of information.

"What?" Theo never saw the section until now. "Fairies? No, those don't exist," Theo said, slightly uncertain.

"Well I mean, we thought witches or wizards didn't exist, yet look where we are now. Close friends with not one, but two," Angelica spoke up.

"They could exist, it's not out of the realm of possibility," Theo muttered.

"Be careful with that title around them, they seemed annoyed to have to even refer to themselves as such," Laf mumbled, fiddling with the hem of his shirt.

Washingdad rose an eyebrow at Laf and tapped his shoulder, motioning him to follow. Laf tensed up but nodded and excused himself, following Washingdad.

(We know who which Washington is by Washingdad and Washingmom, simple)

"Son, are you alright? You've been acting different recently, as well as your little friend," Washingdad asked, concerned.

Laf looked back go the group to see John with head down on the table, his arms wrapping around his waist.

Laf found himself shaking his head, his ears falling down slightly.

"Remember when Alex first came?" Laf asked quietly.

Washingdad thought and looked conflicted at the memory. "Yes, why do you ask?"

"Well, John and I are hybrids as you can tell," Laf proved his point by wiggling the ears on his head. "Basically we-" Laf started but was uninterrupted by a crash in the other room. Laf flinched and looked at Washingdad. They both shared a look of concern before rushing out of the hallway they were standing in.

The group was attempting to comfort John, who had fallen off his chair was now sitting on the ground backing away from everyone.

Laf pushed through the small crowd and crouched down in front of John.

John squinted his eyes open and pulled Laf close, shaking.

"L-Laf, if hurts b-but I don't want to h-hurt them..." John mumbled, tears already streaking his face.

Theo frowned, confused before it clicked.

"Oh god...when was the last time you two ate?" Theo asked. Laf gave her a look that could easily be described as "What kind of question is that?"

She rolled her eyes. "Like, for the wolf side of you, duh."

"...oh, uh never?" Laf said, it being more of a question.

Panic streaked her face for a moment before settling into a more calm gaze.

"You two need to go out and help yourselves. You were turned almost...I don't even remember when and haven't eaten anything since? That's not good at all and it's only going to get worse until you fix it," Theo explained.

Laf frowned and helped John up. Theo took the moment to examine their eyes.

The dark brown in Laf's eyes were mixed with a dark red and John's were almost completely red with a hint of emerald green.

"Its worse than I thought..." she mumbled to herself.

Laf sighed and led John to the back door, looking back at the group. They all looked concerned.

"Be safe, okay?" Washingdad and Washingmom said, the most concerned out of everyone.

Laf smiled a bit and nodded before closing the door behind them.

"Okay John, let's go fix this problem before it gets worse, like Theo said," Laf whispered and John nodded.

Laf let go of him and he stumbled a bit before regaining his posture.

John took a deep breath and settled into natural insticts, looking back at Laf.

"Just relax and let it happen," John whispered and Laf nodded. He took a deep breath and curled in hands into fists. (Ready to yeet your ass into spAce)

John grinned slightly before slipping into the forest, Laf following right behind him.

"Alex?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes?"

"How come you or your friends didn't try and hurt me?"

"I don't know, I guess you're too special to be hurt. If anyone tries to hurt you, I'll make sure they think twice before trying again," Alex said with a small smile.

Elizabeth giggled and sat down on the branch, holding Alex's arm for support while she started swinging her legs freely.

Alex sighed and pat her head, looking over the city. He spotted Herc and Maria zapping some poor civilians unconcoious before dragging them out into the darkness. Aaron and James were a completely different duo.

They were hard to find but eventually Alex saw a glimpse of them just about to pull another civilian into the darkness of the forest.

Alex thought back to Monroe and his other little guardian and hissed slightly to himself at the thought.

"Sooner or later, they'll get what they deserve. All of them will."

Owowowoowowowoowowow so the fluff thing was somewhat a fucking lie. There's fluff yes, but not all fluff. Elizabeth = fluff. Simple.

Low-key was about to forget about John and Laf being hybrids until I remembered I made them hybrids for this very reason. I had another thing I wanted to say but I forgot so fuck me I guess.

Anywho, I am going to make a BMC fanfic but it won't be out until later unless I decide to be an impatient bitch and post it early, we'll see.
