Chapter Forty-Seven

"I know you want to buy more conservative clothes but if you wanted to buy some sexy lingerie for me, that'd be nice too. But nothing expensive since I'll probably end up ripping it off of you anyway." Taehyung's voice drops a few octaves as he whispers into the phone. His breathy baritone voice making me wet on his command. He definitely knows what he's doing to me.

"I can hear you, you freak!" I hear his roommate, Jimin, scream at him in the background.

"Jealous!" Taehyung yells back to him.

I giggle in embarrassment. How would I have stayed there anyway? What would we do, kick Jimin out every night?

"Don't worry baby. I have a few secret surprises in store for you." I purr back to him.

"Like what?" He excitedly asks with sex still laced on his voice. I love how flirty he gets when he's horny.

"It wouldn't be a secret surprise if I told you." I giggle.

"Give me a hint."

"To which surprise?" My smirk rests on my face as I think about what all I plan on bringing.

"You choose." His voice even deeper. He's so needy and it's so tempting to tease him as I get dressed for the day.

"Mmm..." I damn near moan on purpose and I hear his breath hitch, "something furry and metal."

"Furry and metal?" He repeats, confused.

"You'll see." I tease.

"How many more days?" He pouts.

"A week and three days." I smile looking over at the calendar on the wall with the day I fly out circled a few times in red and adorned with heart stickers.

"Just quit your job, do online only classes and move here. I'll take care of you."

He says this at least once a week and even though he knows what I'll say, he continues to try.

"Baby." I sigh out.

"I know, I know. You don't want to rely on a man and the classes you have to take can't all be done online." He huffs out.

I can bet money he rolled his eyes the entire time.

"I love you!" I pout.

"I love you toooooo!" He cutely says back to me.

Madison and Justin walk through the door both laughing about something I'm not aware of. I tell Taehyung that it's time for me to go and that he should get some rest anyway since it's already past two in the morning where he is.

"Jaljayo." I croon with a smile.

"You learned a new word!" He proudly gushes over the unexpected phrase. "Good night gongju. Forever yours."

"Forever yours." I smile and kiss the phone before hanging up.

"Ready to go?" Madison smiles after I end the call.

"Yeah, just let me throw my hair into a messy bun." I grab a hair tie off of the desk and flip over my hair to gather it all at the top of my head, leaving wispy strands to softly frame my face.

I grab my bag and keys and turn to Justin to give him a hug, "thanks for jumping my car and for your help yesterday."

"You're welcome." He hugs me back.

When I turn around, I see Madison smiling at us. I had never approved of who she's dated before like I do with Justin and it makes her so happy to have my support.

Madison and I pull up to the mall to start looking for some decent items for my trip. While I knew I wouldn't be getting designer clothes, I was willing to splurge a little more with the extra income I had.

"Ooh! What about this?" Madison holds up a dress I'd normally love.

I shake my head, "No, it'll be too cold for that. And it shows too much skin."

She pouts and puts it back on to the rack, grabbing a long sleeved navy blue turtle neck sweater dress instead. I nod in approval and grab it to throw it over my arm.

The first store was a success with two dresses, three pairs of jeans and a couple of long sleeved shirts, but I'd still need more to cover the full eighteen days and I wasn't sure how many of those days I'd see his parents.

We take a break from looking at clothes and walk into a shoe store instead to find some new shoes and heels.

"Did you talk to Ethan last night since you said that he had gave you a ride home?" Madison asks handing me over a pair of shoes to try on.

"Yeah." I stand up to wiggle my foot into the leather.

"And...?" She crosses her arms and impatiently waits for me to continue.

"And nothing. He knows I'll always choose Tae." I walk over to a mirror to check out the shoes.

My nose scrunches up from the look of them on my feet. They're not my style. I'm not trying to look like a completely different person and I don't want to feel uncomfortable. After the pain in the balls of my feet starts, I take them off as quick as I can and walk back through the racks of shoes barefoot.

"Did he admit he likes you?"

I roll my eyes, knowing that she isn't going to let this go.

"He did, but that doesn't change anything between me and Tae." I reach down and pull the back of another pair of shoes around my heel before walking over to the mirror again.

"I'm just saying be careful because I can tell you're attracted to him too. And no judgements! He's a very good looking man. I mean, you saw how I even flirted with him in class." Madison pulls down another pair of shoes she thinks I might like.

"That doesn't mean I like him like that." I look at the shoes from all angles before ultimately deciding I would get this pair.

"I know. I'm just saying, be careful."

I look over to Madison and sigh. I know she means well, but I also know that I'm not worried in the least about cheating on Taehyung. As attractive and nice to me as Ethan is, he doesn't compare. No man ever would. So I know in my heart that there's absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

I softly smile and nod so that she'll drop the conversation. I'm too excited about seeing Taehyung in just a little over a week anyway. Ethan wasn't even crossing my mind until she brought him up while Taehyung had never once left my thoughts. Even in Ethan's presence, Tae was the one I was thinking about. And that alone told me everything I needed to know.

Ethan may have developed a crush on me but I don't have the same feelings towards him.

I end up going with one black pair of heels, some cute flats and a dressier pair of boots. To keep them clean and scuff free, I decide to not wear them until I'm in Korea. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

After many hours of shopping and finding everything I need, along with getting some Christmas presents, Madison and I go to a raunchy sex shop that we've passed by many, many times but had never had the courage to go into until now.

"Welcome!" The employee beams after verifying we are of age to be inside. "If you need anything, just let me know."

We both nod uncomfortably and walk away as soon as possible. It already feels weird enough being in here. I'm not about to ask for help!

"Is this what you were looking for?" Madison holds up a pink pair of furry handcuffs and I instantly pull her arm back down.

"Yes, but in blue if they have it." I whisper.

Madison looks around, unsure why I'm so embarrassed. "Ava, we're the only ones in here besides the employee and I'm sure she's seen kinkier shit than some handcuffs."

My face stays bright pink even after I realize she's right. With Taehyung, being kinky and trying new things feels natural but I don't like sharing that part of me with anyone. Hell, Madison only knows being she was concerned for my safety before finding out the truth.

I locate a furry baby blue pair and grab them before walking over to the lingerie section. I see a light blue completely sheer bodysuit with white leather ties up the sides and a cut out in the back. This will be perfect to secretly wear under some conservative and modest clothing and a welcome surprise for him, I'm sure.

"What's the deal with you and blue today? I thought your favorite color was pink?" Madison asks pulling out a black bustier that I approve of.

"Blue has a special meaning for us. A specific blue color actually. Like a sea blue, but it's hard to find so baby blue is the next best thing. Plus, the lingerie isn't for me, it's for him." I explain as I find some cheeky underwear that matches the black bustier perfectly.

She looks at my ring and notices the color of the stones. "This color? Is this why it's so special?"

I don't want to spill the beans about our sacred beach and how I didn't even share it with her before I met him so I just decide to say just enough to get her to move on.

"Partially. If you see this color anywhere, let me know." I smile and pull out a white lace bra and panty set.

I grab a few different extremely sexy pieces and move to a different part of the store that even made Madison blush.

"You're going to use one of these?" She questions looking at all of the different whips.

"Yep." I smirk and grab a black one with a few different length tassels hanging from an all black leather handle.

"It doesn't hurt?" She asks watching me run my fingers through the straps.

"Yes, but in a good way."

She giggles and shakes her head, "Ah, Tae has turned my innocent virgin friend into a secret freak."

I shrug with a smile and place the whip in the crevice of my arm along with the other items I've collected. Scooting over to another area with vibrating toys, I expect for Madison to move along with me but when I turn around, I notice that she's still looking at the whips.

"Maddie?" I raise my eyebrow at her.

"Do you think Justin would...you know?" She bites her lip as she locks eyes with me.

I smirk and walk over to her, "You never know. He could be, but try a belt or his hand first. See what your comfort level is before you get into these. And maybe use a safe word." I grab her hand and pull her away.

"What's your safe word?"

Hmm. Come to think of it, he and I don't actually have a safe word. I haven't felt the need to tell him to stop during the times when we've had more domineering sex, but what would I say if I did need him to stop? Stop? I guess that would be it, but I trust him enough to not feel like it needed to be discussed.

"Stop, I guess. I haven't felt the need to use it." I shrug and grab a remote controlled vibrating toy.

"Hmm..." she looks at the items I'm holding, "you may want to talk about it before you go. Just in case."

Maybe she's right. A whip and a remote controlled vibrating sex toy seem all fun and games right now through horny rose colored glasses, but what if he doesn't realize my stop isn't a playful one and I really mean it. Maybe we do need a specific word.

I decide to stop at what I have for now and head to the check out counter after grabbing some lube on the way.

"Find everything you needed?" The employee asks with a smile as she starts taking off the hangers.

"I did." I smile, my face heating up again.

"First time in one of these places?" She asks as she sees me shying away.

I nod, unable to say anything.

She looks down at the items I've collected and back up at me, "Oh honey, you'll be back." She smiles and I begin to laugh.

Madison covers her own face as if she was the one buying things here and starts to giggle along with me. Well, at least today will be one we will talk about in years to come.

I go back to the dorm and say my goodbyes to Madison after helping me drop off all of my bags into my room. Emma is gone on a date tonight so I have plenty of opportunity to pack without her also seeing the surprises I have in store for Taehyung.

It's still pretty early for a Saturday morning in Seoul and knowing he didn't go to bed until after two, I'm kind of surprised he's calling but I'm excited about it nonetheless.

"Yeoboseyo." I answer cutely.

"Yeoboseyo. What are you doing?" He asks just above a whisper.

"Starting to pack the new clothes and things I bought. Why are you whispering?" I know it's early but it's still morning over there at least.

"Jimin is still asleep."

"You're not tired babe?" He couldn't have had more than about four to five hours at most.

"I miss you too much. My pillow just isn't good enough and I'm lonely." He sighs.

I get it. Sleeping peacefully through the night without him is hard and it seems like the closer we get to seeing each other again, the harder it's becoming.

"I feel the same way." I reassure him that he's not alone. "If it helps at all, I got some really nice surprises for you today and a Christmas present."

"It helps a little." I can hear the smile in his words. "I can't wait to see my surprises. I bought you a Christmas present too."

"Kim Taehyung! I thought I told you not to buy me a present. You already spent so much. Just me seeing you is more than enough." I whine.

I hate feeling like he just spends and spends on me and I can't do the same for him.

"You knew I wouldn't listen to that. My baby deserves a Christmas present too." He pouts.

"Baby." I sigh as I sit down on my bed in defeat as I momentarily stop packing.

"It's cheaper than the necklace I got you if that makes you feel any better."

"I just don't want you thinking I need gifts to feel loved by you." I fold up a pair of jeans and stick them in the suitcase as I rest the phone in between my shoulder and ear.

"I know jagi. But it's Christmas and you know you like presents. You get that cute little smile and you cry every time." He teases.

"I do not cry every time!" I huff out.

"Hmm. Couple rings...you cried. Necklace...you cried. Plane ticket...you cried." He chuckles.

"Okay, okay. I'm emotional, I get it." I laugh and roll my eyes.

"Don't ever change."

I can't help but smile at how much he loves me for me. He really hasn't ever asked me to be different, dress different, or like different things and for that I'm so thankful for him. Too many times a female is expected to change who she is to please a man and that was something I was never willing to do. It always saddened me seeing girls completely stop liking something they once were so fond of just because the guy didn't like it or they suddenly start dressing different just because it's what he likes. Men should either like her for who she is or find someone else.

"We should discuss something really quick while it's still on my mind and before I come to Korea." I start to say.

"Oh, that doesn't sound good." He worriedly responds.

I didn't mean for it to come out like something is wrong. Nothing is wrong at all actually.

"No!" I laugh to ease the sudden tension. "Everything is fine. I was just thinking today that you and I don't have a safe word."

"Safe word?" He questions.

"Yeah. Like if we're doing something sexually that I feel I'm at my limit with. I know I could just tell you to stop, but I'm afraid you might think I wasn't serious." I explain as I tuck away the handcuffs and whip into a secure spot in my suitcase.

"Okay, I understand. What would you want it to be?"

"Hmm...I don't really know. Blue?" I suggest as the color stares back at me multiple times from my packed belongings.

"Blue sounds nice." I can hear him smiling again just before trying to stifle his yawn.

"Feeling a little tired now?"

"Yeah. I feel better now that I talked to you." He croons back to me.

"Get some rest babe. Call me when you wake up again. I'll be sure to answer." I kiss the phone and he returns one to me.

"Gongju?"

"Yes baby?" I stop what I'm doing to listen intently.

"Thank you for making my world happier."

My eyes tear up and I quickly wipe away the wetness from the inner corners. I don't know if he's always been like this, but I'm more than thankful for the affection and appreciation he shows me.

"Are you crying again?" He chuckles when he hears me sniffle.

"Shut up!" I laugh and grab a tissue to blow my nose.

He continues to giggle at my sensitivity, "I love you, Ava. Mrs. Kim."

"I love you more Kim Taehyung." I smile, my heart expanding with overwhelming adoration.

"Impossible." He kisses the phone and I do the same just before hanging up.
