Legolas and Alvena mush2x love2x part coming up! ;)

        Alvena was crying silently in Legolas' arms. She was scared even though she was brave, learning about her past was nothing but learning that Sauron is your soul mate is heart breaking. She didn't want to admit it. She clung to Legolas' chest while Legolas brushed her hair with his fingers saying sweet words to her. "Shh.. my love... I have something to tell you." he whispered. Alvena pulled away to look into his eyes and asked "What is it?" As she wiped her tears.

"You won the bet."

"What?" Alvena asked, confused. He chuckled and said "I have befriended a dwarf and have grown very fond of him. You won." 

Alvena then forgot all her sadness and broke out into a wide smile and laughed, this made Legolas smile "Melin tirië hendutya sílalë yá lalat" Legolas said. (I love to see your eyes shine when you laugh) Alvena blushed madly as her eyes still stayed on the elven prince. Legolas smiled at her adorable state and stated leaning in, Alvena also started leaning in, she couldn't help but succumb to the moment.

Right before their lips could meet the door swung opened and Gimli's gruff voice said "Lass! You think-- Oh! Did I interrupt a moment?" he asked with guilt itched on his face. His eyes drifting between Legolas and Alvena. Alvena giggled at the moment while Legolas glared at the dwarf. "Stupid dwarf has no manners." Legolas mumbled as he exited the room with no expression. "What's up with him?" Gimli asked innocently. I chuckled at Gimli and said "Oh Gimli, he is just being a grumpy elf like he always is." Gimli let out a merrily 'hehehe'

Alvena got up as she made sure her puffy eyes weren't noticable, as she tried finding Legolas she found him outside the doors of King Theoden's home staring at the plains in front of Edoras. "It's beautiful isn't it?" Alvena asked as she stood beside him. "It's beautiful but any scenery in Middle earth would never be number one." he said not making eye contact with the red head elleth. "What's number one? Galadriel?" she asked also gazing out at the plains.

"You."

Alvena's head snapped towards Legolas to find him staring at her lovingly. Alvena blushed once again at Legolas' words. He then faced his body towards her and grabbed her hands, fiddling with her small fingers. "We've been through a lot Alvena and I wanted to ask if you would accompany me back to Mirkwood after all this madness?" Legolas asked softly, his eyes were gentle and mesmerizing that as you stare into his eyes you never want to look away. Alvena smiled but it faded as she said "Your father will not like it-- he-- he would banish me in a heartbeat."

Legolas squeezed her hands gently and said "That's why I'll be there. You won't be facing his wrath alone my love." As he slowly placed a lingering kiss to her hands. "I can't stand being far from you after all we have been through, I just can't." he said the sun making his eyes shine more brightly. "Sauron might be your soul mate but I am also your soul mate. You have rejected your first soul mate and the Valar has given you another chance for love and I would be most gladly to spend the rest of eternity making you smile." he said sweetly that it almost brought tears to Alvena's eyes.

Instead her eyes glistened in the sunset. Alvena covered her mouth as she smiled like she won a pot of gold. "I'm not asking for marriage Alvena, I am asking for your presence and love... just for now." Legolas said as he had one of those breath taking grins plastered on his illegally handsome face. "Alvena I--" Legolas was cut off as Alvena quickly pressed her lips to his briefly and as she pulled back she said and chuckled "Enough of your kind words Legolas, my heart flutters too much that I feel like my heart will just fly right out of my chest. Yes, Legolas. You will always and always have my love, just don't abandon me. You might be my second soul mate but you will always be my first and only love."

Legolas smiled and pulled Alvena in a kiss that they never wanted to end.

        They finally started making their way to Helms deep. Alvena has never heard of the place 'Helms deep' until Aragorn told her the story of how it once saved the people of Edoras. Alvena was wearing her cloak that Galadriel gave her because she was scared out of her wits that Sauron would find her. She was riding beside Gimli listening to his stories along with Eowyn. Alvena has taken a liking to Eowyn because she seemed so brave and independent it reminded of herself about 50 years ago when she just took off in an unknown adventure along with her brother, Bilbo and a bunch of friendly and often hungry but butt kicking dwarves and also a grumpy wizard.

"It's true you don't see many dwarf women and in fact they are so alike in voice and appearance they are often mistaken for dwarf men." Gimli said. Alvena laughed harder than Eowyn did but as she and Eowyn glanced at Aragorn. "It's the beards." Aragorn said quietly and hand motioned a beard. Eowyn shushed him and tried to hold in her laugh while Alvena couldn't contain her laughter.

"This in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no Dwarf women and the Dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground!" Gimli said loudly. This time Eowyn burst out into laughter along with Gimli but poor Alvena laughed as she leaned forward on her horse for support because she knew if she can't contain her laughter soon she'll fall off her horse.

"Which is of course ridiculous!" Gimli stated. "Hilarious!" Alvena laughed out earning a glare from Gimli when suddenly the horse then screeched and skidded forward in a quick pace, causing Gimli to fall off the horse. Eowyn laughed harder and she ran after the fallen Gimli not before Alvena laughed hard and fell off her horse as well. Earning gasps from people around her, a few humans went to help Alvena stand, still not done with her laughing.

"It's all right! It's all right! Nobody panic that was deliberate, it was deliberate." Gimli said as Eowyn helped him up. "Yeah, listen to a dwarf who fell off a horse." Alvena said through laughter earning yet another glare from the dwarf. Aragorn laugh lightly.

"A Scout!" Alvena heard Legolas from the distance making her laughter instantly die as she had a serious expression on her face.

Aragorn quickly ran to see what was ahead of the group of migrating people. Aragorn quickly turned back and ran to Theoden. "What is it?! What do you see?" Theoden asked. "Wargs! We're under attack!" Aragorn yelled loudly.

Hearing this caused the women and children to panic. "All the riders to the head of the column!" Theoden yelled. Arod was quickly given to Gimli who needed assistance to climb onto the horse. Alvena then got back on her horse and started galloping towards Legolas who was standing firmly on a large hill shooting arrows at dozens Wargs.

Alvena quickly rode off to face the Wargs. As Alvena rode she quickly shot down warg after warg since she gave her sword to Sam and if she ran out of arrows, she knew she would be screwed. It wasn't long before other soldiers heading to face the wargs. Both sides collided with force. A warg jumped on a soldier, knocking him off his very horse. As Alvena just kept shooting from her horse gracefully she noticed a stack of wargs were on top of someone. So she glided gracefully that some mortals stopped to watch for a brief moment then approached the person who was buried under the smelly wargs.

Once she noticed it was Gimli she barked out a laugh. "Don't just laugh lass! Help me!" Gimli said frustratingly. "Oh come on Gimli! Half of our lives are filled with war and battle, have some fun!" she chirped but as she killed the orc that was battling with a soldier she then went quickly to help Gimli before she could get the wargs off of Gimli she noticed Aragorn being dragged by another warg that was going wild heading quickly for the cliff.

She didn't hesitate as she dropped the wargs back on Gimli and sprinted towards Aragorn to help him. She lunged towards him and was now being dragged by the warg. "Alvena! You must let go!" Aragorn shouted at her but she shook her head as her hands were fumbling to untangle Aragorn from the warg. "Either way the warg will take one of our lives." Aragorn said and Alvena quickly pondered on his words. She then grabbed the warg's fur tightly making sure she wouldn't fall as she did her cloak fell off her shoulders since it got tangled to a bush. "But we need you Aragorn *Grunts as she pulled on Aragorn's arm* you are more-- important!" once she uttered 'important' she got Aragorn's arm free from the warg's body, Aragorn tried to grab Alvena but instead of grabbing her, he grabbed her necklace breaking it off her neck and before she could let go of the warg

Alvena and the warg tumbled off the cliff and Alvena let out a piercing scream.

Before everything went black Alvena heard voices shouting

"ALVENA!"
