Mornings in Gotham were calm and peaceful, only if you lived by the borders. I had made the decision of moving there, and purchase a modern mansion.

Our house was located near the lake, surrounded by the forest. It was a perfect place to live in, without any disturbance. Exactly what Michael and I needed.

Michael decided to live with me. He was traumatized by the events in Valencia. I can't blame him. Nathan and Taliana went home, while Ariana returned to her apartment.

She still wouldn't tell me where she lived.

Everything was fine, except the fact that two bodyguards were staying here, 'protecting' and reporting back to Nathan. We had a maid, Francine, and a butler, Hansen. Or for short, Hans.

The morning breeze whistled through the windows, airing the house as birds chirped outside, perched on trees.

My eyes focused on the pill in my hand, as I swallow it, followed by a glass of water.

The fact that I've been experiencing waves of pain these past few months scared me.

I didn't want to tell Damian, or anyone about it, they didn't need to worry.

I sat in the living room, continued eating my breakfast as I heard footsteps rushing inside the house.

Michael rushed in, a handful of letters in his grasp. Francine, our maid, ran after him. "Your Highness! You cannot run outside! It is dangerous!" She spoke, her thick British accent laced in her voice.

"It's all right, Francine. Let me see the letters, Michael." I stood up, as Francine nodded, going back into the kitchen. Panting, Michael gave me the letters as I walked into the living room, taking a seat on the couch, inspecting the letters.

"From the office, ministers.. toy shop?" I asked, glancing at my brother, who sat across of me. He shrugged; "I was interested in buying toys."

"All right.." I drawled as I continued inspecting the stash of letters. "More business letters, formal letters, and.. What's this?" I perked up, picking up the last envelope.

On the cover, was a sloppy scribbling, written :

| To : Adelina Vanderbilt.
From : B.B. |
- Thought you might want to see this.

"Who is this 'B.B'?" I asked Michael, checking the envelope, but finding no stamps or any written adresse.

Then this mysterious person must've delivered the letter by himself? My heart sped up as I opened the envelope slowly, and found a photograph. Of what, I don't know.

As I was about to take out the photo, my phone rang loudly across the room. Sighing, I place the envelope onto the table, my hand reaching in the air, and my phone levitates across the room, finding itself into my grasp.

"Cool." Michael mutters, and switches his attention back towards his phone. Rolling my eyes, I accepted the call. It was from Ariana.

"Hello?"

"Hey Al, what are you doing?" She asks, and I glance at the clock. 9 am.

"Uh nothing? I have about two hours free before the office. Why?"

"Ok. I'll come over." She says before hanging up. Placing the phone back onto the table, the envelope gains my attention back. Who could have sent me this?

My mind is debating whether to see the photograph or not. What if this is someone messing up with me?

My fingers tapped the armrest, my eyes still contemplating the envelope. I really couldn't decide.

Oh hell. How bad could it be?

My fingers grasped the end of the paper, sliding it open.

Once my eyes found the picture, I couldn't control the gasp coming out of my lips. My breathing halted, as my chest tightens.

A new feeling of pain surged through me. No, no..

The next second, I screamed.

My fingers tapped the steering wheel, as I was enjoying the view of Gotham's forest.

It's been a long time since I've seen Michael, and I wanted to visit him.

My phone suddenly vibrates, and I see the contact name. Michael?

"Hello?"

"Aria! Come quick! It's bad!" Michael screamed, panic and fear in his voice.

"What is it?"

"It's Alina! She started screaming, and all of the objects in the house went in the air, levitating!"

Levitating? Is that.. even possible?

"I'm coming!"

~

"Alina!" I shout once I entered the house, and stopped as I saw what was going on.

All of the furniture in the house were up in the air, floating around. Michael wasn't kidding.

"Aria! Thank God!" Michael runs towards me, out of nowhere, throwing his arms around me. Poor kid, he seems scared to hell. The butler, and the maid stood by the stairs, both terrified.

"Where is she?" I asked, avoiding a knife that was floating close to my head. This could end up badly.

Very badly.

"Upstairs!" He shouts, and I run towards the grand staircase, running as fast as I could. Making my way through the hallway, I find myself in front of Alina's door.

"Alina! Alli?"

No answer. I barge through the door, but there was no sign of her. Suddenly my ears perk up, hearing flowing water near me.

She's in the bathroom! Oh my god, what is she doing?!

Rattling the doorknob, it refuses to open. "ALINA!" I screamed, my body slamming against the wooden door repeatedly, eventually breaking the lock.

Barging through the bathroom door, I stood still, my steps coming to a stop as I saw what was happening.

Alina, holding a glass of wine, eyes closed, was wearing a goddamn face mask and enjoying music.

She was bathing, and listening to music at the same time, in which I recognized to be Ludwig Van Beethoven's Sonata No. 14, 'Moonlight'.

"Are.. you.. fuc-"

"Oh, hello, Ariana." Alina mumbles, sipping her wine as she twirled her hand into the air, enjoying the melody.

This is a new level of insanity. She's gone crazy.

"What? Just.. what?"

"What is it?" She asks me, raising an eyebrow. "The furniture are floating downstairs. Floating!" I screamed at her, my hands frantically moving around.

"Oh. I didn't think they were still in the air." She mutters, and snaps her fingers.

And then I heard a loud series of crashes downstairs, which must've been the furniture.. colliding onto the floor.

"What the hell happened?" I asked, as she takes a towel, and stands up.

My eyes switched to the walls. After she covers herself up, she walked pass me and went into her bedroom, without saying anything. Her face was blank, no emotion whatsoever.

"You're not going to tell me what's going on?" I asked, as she goes into the changing room, then comes back a few seconds later, fully dressed.

She shakes her head, fixing her blouse, and leaves me in her suite, completely confused.

"Hey, where are you going?" I asked.
No answer.

Sighing, I sat down onto the bed, the feeling of the soft mattress soothing me. I suddenly felt something poking my leg, and found a piece of paper.

Lifting the paper up, there's nothing on it.

Turning it around, my mouth let out a gasp as I saw a picture of Damian, Alina's boyfriend, kissing a dark haired girl.

Damian.. cheated on her?

So that's what happened. A part of me refused to believe it. Damian doesn't seem like the type of guy that'll cheat.

My breath came to a halt as I remembered that I had the same exact thought about Gabriel.

Gabriel, cheating on me. In a million years, I never would've thought of that. I'll never forget that time I walked in on him and Janet.

Throwing the memories away, I focus back on Alina's situation.

Alina has been through a lot. A whole lot. And now this? My heart is aching for her. And how can she just.. look fine, as if nothing had ever happened to her?

To the media, she's just one of those spoiled, arrogant, rich princess. But to me, to Nathan, to everyone else that knows her..

She's a girl that had her heart broken too many times.

My eyes fixed on the road, as my hands pressed the wheel a bit too tightly, I let out a frustrated groan as my phone rings for the tenth time.

Damian. The calls are from Damian.

I pressed the reject button once again, and my feet hits the brakes hard, the car forcefully stopping in the middle of the road.

I'm in the middle of nowhere, going nowhere. I don't know what I'm doing, I just need to let this thing out of my mind.

Biting my lips, a sob escaped me as I gave in. I couldn't keep it in anymore.

I cried, the tears wetting my shirt. I sobbed softly, my head resting on the steering wheel.

My phone rings again, the loud ringtone overthrowing the sound of my cries.

Turning my attention towards the ringing phone, I noticed that this time, it wasn't Damian calling me.

It was an unknown number.

I wiped my tears, finally surrendering, and accepted the mystery call.

"Hello?" A deep voice greets me by the end of the line.

"Who's this?" I asked, my voice breaking.

"I'm.. B.B." He finally answers after a few seconds of silence. B.B, huh?

"You're the one that sent me the picture." I manage to snap, and I heard a loud breath.

"Yep. I'm sorry if it.. angered you. Well, you see, the girl in the picture is my girlfriend. Ex, actually. Her name's Raven."

"I don't need to know that. I don't care who she is." I said, grabbing a tissue to wipe my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I.. truly am." He whispered, and It felt sincere.

"Where are you right now? You don't sound well." He asks again, and I felt my fingers shake. He's right. I'm not well.

A sudden wave of pain rolls over me, and I gasped as I felt it run through my head. Not again.

"Hey, hey! You okay?" He asks through the line as I yelped in pain.

"I'm near the Gotham borders.." I managed to choke out, before losing my voice.

My hands slowly letting go of my phone, I gasped for air, as I felt my whole body tremble once again.

A tear runs down my cheek as I let go of my last breath, as my body fails itself.

~

"And who are you to her, sir?"

"I'm uh, her boyfriend. Boyfriend."

"Okay. I'll leave you two alone then."

"Hey, Alina. Alina?"

Gasping, my eyes shot open as my body awakened itself up.

My legs felt numb, and my arms were shaking.

I sat down immediately, my eyes fixed on my bandaged hands. Looking next to me, I see a green skinned boy, staring at me with wide, confused eyes.

His entire body is green.

"Aaah!" I screamed, scrambling away from him, taking a pillow, and threw it towards him.

In result; I lost my balance, and my body hit the floor, hard. I groaned in pain, rubbing my sore arms. I didn't know why, but I wanted to cry. I was so tired. Of everything.

"Hey! Hey! It's okay, I'm.. B.B." He smiled warmly, walking towards me, and I took a defensive stance.

"B.B?" I asked through panted breaths, as his hands slowly snaked around my waist, picking me up, softly placing me onto the bed.

My eyes raked over him. Tall, lean, green skinned.. And a wide smile over his face.

How can he be smiling like that when his girl is cheating on him?

"Uh.. Thank you for bringing me here." I managed to say after an embarrassing silence.

I'm in a hospital room, wearing my normal clothes. And my hands are bandaged.

"No problem. And my name is actually Beast Boy."

"Beast Boy? Why would they call you that?" I asked him, as he looks down, avoiding my gaze. As if the weirdest thing about him is his name.

"Well.. I can take the shape of animals. Wanna see?"

"No! No, thanks.. I've seen too much. Too much today." I exclaimed, as he bit his lip nervously. Besides, seeing someone transform into an animal would be quite the scare.

"Yeah.. Anyways, sorry about the picture. I just felt the need to tell you." He mumbles, hands in his pockets as he stood by the bed.

"Yeah. Uh, thanks for telling me." I frowned, remembering the picture of Damian.. kissing that girl. It hurts. My heart hurts.

My hands massaged my forehead as I avoided his stare. He seemed to be pitying me. I don't need anyone's pity.

Suddenly there's a knock on the door, and a nurse walks in, a wide smile over her faces.

"Your Highness." She smiled widely. "And.. Mr. Beast Boy?"

"Yep. Her boyfriend." He quickly smiled, and I shot a glare at him. He ignored my burning gaze, and the nurse pulls out a piece of paper.

"Well, I have your results here." She starts. "It seems that everything is just fine."

"Thank God." I mutter under my breath. The pain probably was another side effect of the antidote.

"Oh, and great news!"

My head looked up, meeting the nurse's bright green eyes, waiting for her to finish.

"Congratulations, Your Highness! You're about two months pregnant!"
