Jim's POV

"What!"

"Come on Jim",she said while grabbing her phone and purse.

I picked up Claire and put her in the car.I ran inside to grab my amulet and came back outside but one problem.The sun was out!

"Mom,I can't go",I said.

She looked at me and sighed.

"Maybe Merlin can give me a spell so I can go in the sun and then grab the mask Toby used to trick Vendal.That way I can enter the Hospital",I said.

She nodded and drove to the hospital.

I texted Blinky about Claire and asked him to get Merlin to teleport me back.

After a couple minutes,a green portal opened and I went through.

When I was there,Blinky was worried.

"Is fair Claire alright",Blinky asked?

I shook my head and looked at Merlin.

"Do you have a spell that allows me to go in the sun",I asked.

He tapped on his chin for a moment and then nodded.

"Yes I do",he said.

I looked at Blinky."Do you remember that mask Toby used to steal Vendal's staff",I asked.

"Yes I do but would you possibly need it for"?

"I need that mask to look like my self again so I can enter the hospital.I don't want people pointing and staring at me",I said.

"I sadly don't have one but with Merlins magic back,he might be able to get a mask for you",Blinky says.

I turn back to Merlin and he was holding the mask.

"Are you ready TrollHunter",Merlin asked me.

I nodded and he said some kind of weird sentence.After,I didn't feel a difference.

Then,he handed me a mask.I put it on and then turn to see Blinky with wide eyes.

"Did it work",I asked.

"Master Jim,your human again"!

I look at my hands and I was the normal Jim.I had my regular blue jacket back on.

"Not quite.Its simply a projection over top of Jim",Merlin says.

"Cool,can you teleport me back to Arcadia",I asked

"I can but once Claire is healthy,you must come back as soon as possible",he said.

I nodded and he made a portal for me to go through.I said my goodbyes and walked through the portal.

I ended up in a alley next to the hospital.

I quickly ran inside the hospital.Once I reached the front desk,Claire's parents were in there.

"Jim",her mother said while hugging me.

"Thank you for saving our little girl",her father said.

"How are you human",her mother asked.

"Long story",I said.

I turned to looked at the desk lady.

"I'm here to see Claire Nuñez",I said.

"Name"?

"James Lake Jr.",I responded.

"She's in room 236,third floor,second door on your left".

I nodded and ran to the elevator.Once I was on the third floor,I walked to room 236.

I knocked on the door."Claire,may I come in",I asked.

"Jim"?

I walked in and saw my mom next to Claire.She was awake thankfully.

"Claire,are you ok",I asked.I ran up and sat beside of her.

"Jim,how are you human",Claire asked.

"Let just say Merlin had that changing appearance mask and a spell to be resistant to the sun",I said.

"It's good to see you back honey",mom said.

I smiled and looked at Claire.She had a bandage wrapped around her shoulder and a couple stitches on her arms.

"Does she know",Claire asked.

I gave her a slight nod and she held a worried face.

"Dr.Lake,I'm so sorry",Claire said.

"I understand it was a accident but you two have to be more carful",my mom said.

"I understand",Claire said.

My mom left the room,leaving just Claire and I.

"It's good to see the real you again Jim".

"I'm glad too but it's only a projection",I said.

After a moment of awkward silence,she spoke."Is something bothering you Jim"?

I looked at her."Claire,you were kidnapped with our child.Gunmar knows and is planning something big.You were hurt and was being abused! I'm definitely not ok",I said.

"Did It survive"?

"I don't know yet.I understand that we're 16 but that doesn't mean I'm not worried",I said.

I put my head in my hands and groaned.

"This shouldn't have happened.None of this would have happened if I didn't do that with you.Its my fault that your in this position Claire.Im sorry",I said.

"Jim,Its not your fault.We were having fun and we took it a little to far.At least we know how to take care of a kid.Remember that lesson we took in class".

"Yeah,the child that I was watching and ended up getting exploded in thin air.The child that was a bag of flower",I said.

"We did a great job but it wouldn't have happened if that monster was there and you know it"!

"Claire,those monster are not going to stop.Im the TrollHunter.Theres going to be tons of monsters trying to kill me",I said.

"That's why I will help you fight".

"Claire,you can't help me.One,your pregnant and two,you don't have your shadow staff",I said.

"I'm only 1 month along Jim,nothing's going to hurt the baby".

"Well what will happenen when your two months,three months.How do you think you will be able to fight then",I asked.

"I don't know",she said while frowning.

Another doctor walked in and stood in front of us.

"Miss Claire,we ran a lot of tests and it looks like you did not lose the baby.Thankfully,you were brought in at a good time.Any later and your baby might not have survived because of blood loss and hits on your stomach.You are discharged from the hospital",the doctor said.

I nodded as she left.

"Looks like you got lucky",I said.

"You mean we got lucky",she said while kissing my cheek.

Then,Claire's parents walk in.

"Is there something you have to say to us you two",her father said.

Her father is not a fan of me.He doesn't like that I'm her boyfriend but I guess once he saw I was a Trollhunter,he started to like me.

They stood there waiting for an answer.

"I um,Jim and I kinda........",Claire said.

Her mothers face softened.

"We talked to Jim's mom and we understand it was an accident.We don't expect you to get rid of the baby but it will be a lot of work.If you ever need us,we will be here,for both of you",her mother said.

Claire and I smile at each other.We were happy that our parents are understanding but truthfully,we both thought that our parents would kill us.

About an hour later,I was pushing Claire out of the hospital in a wheel chair.

"What are we going to do about Gunmar",Claire asked.

"I don't know but we need to find out",I said.
