Claire's POV
It was 4:00 and I was just leaving school along with Toby.Jim was in trollmarket.

"So,do you really think it's a good idea for us not to tell Blinky about us going into the dark lands",Toby asked.

"I guess so.Im not going to take no as an answer",I said.

"Don't you think Blinky could help us.Merlin could too",Toby said.

"That would put even more people in danger.We have been through the dark lands before so we should remember how to get around",I said.

"Are you kidding?The dark lands are an endless time in darkness.Like a black hole!Its never ending",Toby said.

"The only thing we will need to worry about when we arrive is Gunnar and Liam",I said.

"I hope Gunnar hasn't planned anything bad for the little guy yet",Toby said.

"Me too.I don't know what Jim and I would do without Liam",I said as we walked to trollmarket.

We walked down the crystal steps and through trollmarket to Blinky's library.Once we were there,I saw Jim,AAARRRGGHH,and Blinky reading books.

"Since when did you start reading?",I asked.

Jim looked up and smiled.

"Ever since Blinky made me",he responded.

"Master Jim needs to be refreshed on fighting and he needs to practice his techniques",Blinky said.

"Search for answers",AAARRRGGHH said while throwing a book a me.I quickly caught it and looked at Blinky.

"Answers to what?",I asked.

"Blinky is debating on letting us go into the dark lands so he wants to make sure we will be able to all come back in one piece",Jim said.

"Wait really?I thought that you would disagree to us going back into the dark lands",I said.

"Well,considering that Master Jim has slain Gunmar once,I think he would be able to handle himself.Also,you guys have hand made armor from a wizard so that will protect you enough from his minions",Blinky said.

"Thanks Blinky.When will we go?",I asked.

"You three will leave tomorrow morning while AAARRRGGHH and I stand guard of the portal as you go through.We will make sure that the bridge closes right after you guys enter",Blinky said.

"I have to be back at school tomorrow though",Jim complained.

"Well we all three will have to call in sick",I said.

"I still need to figure out why and how Gunmar has returned even after you slain him",Blinky said while using his four arms to read four books at once.

"Alright,you and AAARRRGGHH can keep reading while we go train",Toby said.

"Has any of you seen Merlin?",I asked.

"Nope but I'm sure he's around here somewhere ",Blinky said.

Toby,Jim and I walked to the Hero's Forge as they grabbed their weapons.

Since my weapon was destroyed,I decided to grabbed a bow and arrow.I use to take lessons when I was younger so I've had some experience.

I grabbed a quiver and slid it over my shoulder.Then,I put some arrows in it and grabbed my bow.

Toby sat some targets up for me to practice on while Jim watched.

As soon as he moved out of the way,I carefully pulled the string back on the bow and made sure to keep my elbow up.Then,I let go of the string as the arrow hit right in the middle of the target.

"Wow,your pretty good at that",Jim said.

"Thanks but let's see how you do against me",I said.

He pulled out his sword as I grabbed a arrow and placed it on the bow.

"Try to deflect the arrows with your sword",Toby said.

I pulled back and shot the arrow at him as he jumped out of the way.

I reloaded my bow with another arrow and shot it at Jim.This time,he didn't get out of the way in time.When he jumped away,the arrow sliced the tip of his shoulder.

"Oh sh**",I muttered.

"Are you alright?",I asked as Toby and I ran up to him.

"I'm fine,it just stings a little",He said.

"Are you sure you can continue?",Toby asked.

Jim nodded as I walked off.

"Sorry but I'm going to head home",I said.

"What!Why?",Toby asked.

"I'm just not in the mood to fight right now",I muttered.

Jim walked up to me and said,"It's about him,isn't it?"

I gave him a slight nod as Toby looked at me.

"We are going to find him Claire.Right now,he is in the safest place because if he's alright,the changling is alright",Toby said.

"I know but I miss him.He's only 4 months old so I'm still worried about him",I said.

"Trust me.We will get him back,no matter how much danger we have to face again.We will bring him back safe and sound",Jim said.
