Claire's POV

I walked into the living room and sat Liam down in his carrier.Then,I went to wake up Jim.

I quickly went up to the door and knocked.

"Who is it",I heard him say tiredly.

"It's just me Jim.We have to go meet Blinky in troll market so get ready",I said.

I went back downstairs and turned the tv on.

I watched as Jim came down the stairs and put on his blue jacket.

"Ok,let's go",he said as I grabbed Liam's carrier and we walked to troll market.

"Do you think you'll be getting any calls from Bagdwella about a nome infestation in her store again",I asked.

"Hope not.Im tired of having to trap them and then they just cause more trouble",Jim said.

"Yeah,remind me to help you with that",I said.

We walked down into trollmarket and into Blinky's library.

Jim's POV

"Hello Master Jim",Blinky said.

"Hey Blinky,we just wanted to talk to you about something",I said.

"What would that be",Blinky asked.

"What if there was a um...possibility that there are goblins crawling around the city again",I asked.

"Oh those pests would be on a journey to find kids to trade for changelings.No bit of a doubt they would already have kids trapped in the dark lands",Blinky said without taking his eyes off his book.

"Yeah um,well it's kinda true",I said.

Blinky's head slowly rose from the book with all six eyes widen.

"Those vermin pests should not be running around Arcadia",Blinky said.

"I know but where ever their coming from,Gunnar's minions are too",I said.

"There is a possibility that they are using the miniature portal but only the goblins.The minions are far to big to fit through it",Blinky said.

"Then what about the minions",Claire asked.

"I'm thinking that there might be another shadow staff somewhere in the shadow realm.Morgana could be using it to open a portal for Gunmars minions but that takes a whole lot of energy.If fair Claire did it,it could kill her",Blinky explained.

"I thought a shadow staff can't open a portal to the dark lands",Claire said.

"You can't but you can with dark magic.Only a soul with pure evil could do that kind of dark magic.You of course have a heart of gold",Blinky said.

"I thought Morgana was still in the shadow realm",I said.

"Oh she is but she is also the one who created it.She could easily open a portal for Gunmar.Even if she's not in person with Gunmar,she can open a portal big enough to swallow the whole city",Blinky said.

"Um Blinky,I think your exaggerating a little to much",i said.

"Master Jim,if Morgana gets loose.Sadly,there might not even be a world to protect",Blinky said.

"Is there anything we can do about it",Claire asked.

"I don't exactly know but since you have a had a past with a shadow staff,you might be able to take control of the one Morgana could be using.Just my theory",Blinky said.

"How do we make sure the goblins don't make more changelings",Claire asked.

"Just make sure to keep a gaggle tack on you at all times",Blinky said while returning to his book.

"Hello",we heard a deep voice say.

We turn a round to see AAARRRGGHH and Toby.

"Found Clues",AAARRRGGHH asked Blinky.

"Yes I have AAARRRGGHH",Blinky said.

"Portal opened",AAARRRGGHH said.

"Wait,the bridge opened",Claire asked.

AAARRRGGHH nodded as Blinky shook his head.

"It isn't possible to open the bridge without master Jim",Blinky said.

"Only for a second,then closed",AAARRRGGHH said.

"Maybe Gunnar's trying to open the portal",Claire asked.

"I'll continue research,for now,I say go train.Tomorrow we will train harder than you have ever trained",Blinky said.

"Wait,I have to go meet the girls for a girls day.Im so sorry Jim.I totally forgot.Can you take care of Liam",Claire asked.

"Of course",I said with a smile.

She handed me the carrier and looked at me."Thanks Jim",she said and ran off.

"I guess today's training is canceled",I said to Blinky.

He nodded."Tomorrow,you will have extra training though",Blinky said.

"Ok,it's not like I didn't already",I said.

"Hey Jimbo,maybe I should watch him",Toby said.

"Sorry Tobes but it's my responsibility to take care of him",I said.

"Then,I'll help.Darci's with Claire anyway",Toby said.

"Ok.Blinky,I'll see you later.See ya AAARRRGGHH",I yelled.

Toby and I walked through trollmarket and up the crystal stairs.

"Do you really think that Morgana is helping Gunmar again.Even after he failed her",Toby asked.

"Most likely.She wants to escape just as much as Gunmar does",I said.

"She needs changelings to do her biding while Gunmar is trapped in the dark lands",Toby said.

"Wait,Toby.Do you still have the miniature portal",I asked.

"Yeah",he said.

"Where is it"?

"Well,now that Ms.Nomura is working in the museum again and that she's good.We agreed to put the portal in the museum where she can keep a close eye on it",Toby said.

"Let's go ask her if she has seen anything suspicious happening lately",I said.

Toby nodded.

                   In the museum

"Ms.Nomura",I yelled while we walked around the museum.

"Where is she",Toby asked.

"I don't know",I replied while looking around.

We walked throughout the museum and looked behind curtains until Toby came across something.

"Hey,Jim.I think I found something",Toby said.

I put Liam down in a safe spot and walked over to Toby.We peeked behind the curtain and saw a woman with blond hair.She looked like she was in her 30's.

She was looking at the miniature portal that was propped up in the center of the room.

"She's not supposed to be back here",Toby said.

"Neither should we but we are",I said.

Toby was about to walk in until I pulled him back.

"Don't go yet.Lets see what she's up to before we assume something",I said.

We watched as she grabbed the portal and inspected it.Then,she slipped it into her bag.

"We need to stop her",Toby said.

"Just wait.Shes not done.Shes looking at one of the bridge peices",I said.

If you didn't know,after I saved Claire before Liam was born,we put one of the bridge pieces here in the museum.The others are down in Trollmarket.

The lady grabbed a brief case and put the triangular shaped stone piece in it.

"We need to get that bridge piece back",Toby said.

"Toby,you grab the brief case and the portal while I distract her",I said while grabbing my amulet.

Toby nodded and I walked in.

"I don't think your suppose to be in here",I said.

She wasn't to happy to see me there.
She grinned and turned into a changeling.She had two purple swords on her back that looked similar to Ms.Nomura's swords.Her skin was dark as night and she had bright green eyes.

I should have knew a changeling would have been here.

"Neither should you",she said.

She pulled her swords and aimed them at me.

In the corner of my eye,I saw Toby hide behind a box.

"For The Glory Of Merlin,Daylight Is Mine To Command",I said quickly while my armor formed around me.

"So your the Troll Hunter that Gunmar talked about.I knew he said you were a human but i didn't believe it",she said.

"Well maybe you should have.Some things are more possible than you think",I said while getting my sword out.

She threw the brief case and the bag holding the portal across the room.Toby snuck passed her and picked up the brief case.

"This is going to be fun",she said while running towards me.

I quickly backflipped over her and looked behind me.She turned back around and glared.

She threw her swords at me like boomerangs,knocking my sword out of my hand.She caught her sword and walked towards me while I backed up.I was soon back to back with a wall.

"Make it easy and hand the amulet over",she said.

"Think twice before doing something",I said while summoning my sword.I quickly kicked her back and swung my sword at her.

She tried to get up until I pushed her back down."Jim,I got it",Toby yelled.

I looked at Toby while he ran out of the room.I put my sword back and was about to run out until the changeling pushed me back into the wall.I was hung on the wall.One wrong move and that sword could slice my throat.

She came up and was ready to throw a punch.I closed my eyes,ready for the hard impact on my face.Nothing happened.

I opened my eyes to see my helmet formed.The helmet opened the front so she could see my face.

"Those tricks won't stop me from killing you",she said while grabbing her sword.

My eyes widen as I feel the sword hit the helmet.The only pain I felt was the constant movement of my head being thrown every which way.

"Jim",I heard Toby yell.

My helmet disappeared back into my armor.I saw the changeling look at Toby.He must have noticed that I wasn't following him.

"Get him",she hissed.I watched as,at least,three dozen goblins start attacking Toby.

"Run Toby",I yell.

He shook his head and started swinging his warhammer.

I tried moving my hands but I couldn't move.If only I could reach my sword.I can't even summon the sword in my hand.

Wait,the trick I used to kill Bular!I quickly try to slide my hand over to grab the amulet but was stopped by the changeling.She grabbed my hand and twisted it.

I winced in pain but continued to try to move.She laughed."You and your friend isn't going to get out of this",she cackled.

"Yes they are",I heard someone yell.My eyes travel across the room to see someone come out from behind the curtain.

"Claire",I yelled!

"Shut up",the changeling hissed.She grabbed her other sword and threw it at Claire.

Claire quickly dodged the sword and ran to help Toby.Toby was currently trying to grab his warhammer off the floor but only to be pulled back by goblins.

"Kill them",she yelled.

The goblins jumped on Claire but luckily,Toby saved her.

"Both if you get Liam and go",I yelled.

"The brief case and portal though",Toby yelled back.

"Just go",I yelled back.

"We are not leaving you",Claire said.

I gave her a assuring look and she shook her head.Why did she have to be so stubborn.

The changeling looked at me and my amulet.Then,she grabbed it and pulled the amulet out of my suit,making it disappear.

I grunted as the suit disappeared.It kinda hurts when someone else forcefully pulls the amulet out of the armor.

I was hoping I would be able to move a little better but couldn't.

"It's over.I have the amulet,portal,and the bridge piece.Gunmar will be pleased",she said.

She took her sword off of me,making me fall to the ground.

"No it's not",I said while trying to get up.

I stood up and glared at her.

"Oh please.What can you possibly do without this amulet.Your just a poor,wimpy kid without it",She said.

"That's not true.Someone once told me that with or without the amulet,I am still the Troll Hunter.No matter what",I said.

She rolled her eyes."Its a pity that it's not true.At least I get some blood out of it",she said.

She swung her sword at me.I quickly slid under the sword and ran to Claire.

Once Toby and Claire where free,we looked at the changeling.

"It's over",Claire said.

I quickly ran over to the changeling and snatched the amulet out of her hand.

"You should have been paying close attention to your surroundings",I said while summoning my armor.

"Give up.Three against one.All your goblins are gone",Toby yelled.

"Fine but it's not over yet",she said while jumping out the window.

"Are you ok",Claire yelled while running over to me.

"Yeah,I'm fine but how did you know we were here",I asked.

She shrugged her shoulders."The hang out finished early when Mary's boyfriend needed her so I went to Troll Market.I didn't see you there so I looked around.Thats until I heard a crash sound from the museum and then that's how I knew",Claire said.

"At least she didn't get what she came for",I said.

Toby nodded."If she would have got the portal,who knows what could have happened",he said.

"At least we got it",I said.

"Where's Liam",Claire asked with hands on her hips.

Oh crap,I'm in trouble."I hid him behind a statue near some boxes.I didn't want him to get caught",I said.

"You left him there",she yelled!

"Maybe",I said while rubbing the back of my neck.

She rolled her eyes and ran out of the room.We walked to where I put Liam to see him asleep.

"How did he sleep through all that noise",Toby asked.

"Don't ask me.He inherit's it from his father",Claire said.

"He does not.Im not a deep sleeper",I said.

"Then you would be up every two hours in the night",Claire said.

I groaned as Toby laughed."Dude,Claire had a point",he said.

"Whatever.Lets get these back to Troll Market and tell Ms.Nomura what happened",I said.

Claire picked up Liam's carrier and walked out side.

Toby stayed back and walked with me."A changeling already.I guess the Troll Hunters are back in business",Toby said.

"That also means more detention In school",I said.

Toby laughed."Well you and Claire can spend more time together at least.Im definitely bringing that spicy taco again",he said.

"Yeah",I said.

"What's got you so down",he asked.

"It's just...Claire is right.Liam is in danger but we can't keep passing him off to other people.Its our responsibility to take care of him.He's our child",I said.

"Jimbo,you need to relax.Liam was fine.I mean,yeah Claire got mad but you had to leave him there.Only for his safety of course",Toby said.

"That's the point.When I try keeping him safe,it ends up getting nearly close to killing",I said.

"As long as your the Troll Hunter,Liam is going to be in Danger.At least he can help when he's older",Toby said.

"No.He's not going to find out about me being the Troll Hunter.Hes not even going to know about Trolls",I said.

"How do you expect to keep that from him.He will figure it out anyway when you start disappearing a lot",Toby said.

"I'll just have to make up a fake job",I said.

"What does Claire think about this",Toby asked.

"She doesn't know yet.I hope she agrees",I said.

"Don't forget about training.Ill see you tomorrow",Toby yelled.

"Bye Tobes",I said.

I caught up with Claire and looked at her."I'm not going to tell Liam I'm the Troll Hunter when he's older",I said.

"Wait what!Why",she asked.

"It will keep him out of danger",I said.

"Jim,he's in danger either way",Claire said.

"Well,we won't tell him.We will just have to keep a close eye on him and make sure nothing happens.I can't afford losing him",I said.

"You won't lose him and your over thinking",Claire said.

"Point blank,I'm not telling him about Trolls.You cant tell him about anything to do with Trolls",I said.

"Fine",she said.
