I woke up and jumped out of bed remembering that Jim should be awake today.

I quickly got dressed and walked into Liam's room."Hey buddy,you ready to go see daddy",I said to Liam.

In response,Liam smiled.I gave him a bottle and quickly ran out of the house to meet Toby at Trollmarket.

I kept my eye out for anything following us.I don't want to put Liam in more danger than he already is.

Jim's POV

I woke up with a bad headache."What happened?Where am I",I asked myself.

I looked around to see I was in Blinky's library.All I remember is saying some weird sentence and then everything going black.

I looked at my hand and my eyes widen.Im human.Im human!

Oh my gosh,I can finally be normal again.I can go to school and get to actually be in the sun!I can be seen in person with Claire without that stinky mask!

I was back in my blue jacket,jeans,and black converses.I grabbed my phone and looked in the camera.No big teeth,no horns,and no blue stone skin.

Wait,where's the amulet?I looked around until I found it in the floor.I sighed in relief.

"Jim"!

I turn around to be tackled to the ground by Claire.She was hugging me.

"I'm so glad your back to normal",she said.

"Can't.breath",I said.

"Oh sorry",she said.

I got up and looked over at Toby.He was holding Liam.

"Hey Jimbo,your actually human for real this time",Toby said.

"Yeah,I guess I am",I said.

"Ah the Trollhunter is once again human",Merlin said while walking in.

"Truthfully,I thought I was dead",I said.

"Be happy your standing here right now",Merlin said.

"Trust me,I am",I said.I gave Toby a hug and he gave Liam to me.

"How about we go out for tacos like I promised you before we left",I said.

"Oh ya,taco day",Toby yelled.

We laughed."Thanks Blinky,AAARRRGGHH,and Merlin",I said.

"No problem trollhunter",Merlin said while turning around to work on some spells.Blinky and AAARRRGGHH started reading about something so we just left all of them all alone to do whatever they wanted.

I grabbed my bag and put my amulet inside.Then,we walked up the crystals stairs.

"Let's try not to have any issues with Nomes,goblins,or Trolls",Claire said.

"Not making any promises",I said.

We laughed as we went to eat with Darci.The same place we went for that double date Toby and I had for the girls.

Anyway,we sat down and ordered.I watched as people gave us weird stares.
Claire just hid her head under the menu.

"Are you embarrassed",I asked with a laugh.

"We have a child at 16 and we are carrying him around in public.People staring is just one side effect",she said.

"When we get to school,we got to act like nothing happened",She said.

"That's fine with me.Im not so sure about Señor Uhl.He stares right into your soul",I said.

She laughed and as the food came up.I started poking at the toco with a fork.

"Why aren't you eating",Claire asked.

"Maybe because I'v been eating metal for the past year.I'v basically forgot what tacos tastes like",I said.

"You've had it before,just eat it",Claire said.

I took a bite and it's tasted like heaven.

"Told you.Maybe you can fix dinner for us tonight",Claire said.

Sure.

The waiter came and took up our trash.We all got up and walked to the park.

"So who's ready for school",Darci asked.

"I am,I get to laugh at the teachers again",Toby said.

"I'm not.Ill be grounded for who knows how long if I get a full day of detention again",I said.

"Well your mom knows your a troll hunter so maybe she'll take it easy on you",Claire said.

"I don't really think Dr.L will let Jim slide with skipping school",Toby said.

"If we do get into detention,Toby can bring that spicy taco to leave Senior Uhl in that restroom",Darci said.

"Oh my gosh,I remember that",Toby said.

"Anyway,remember when I said I was on the phone with Mary",Claire asked Darci.Darci nodded.

"She said she's finally official with tight jeans hank.She doesn't even care that he's from the school we are against",Claire said.

"Same old Mary",Darci said while shaking her head.

"She even asked me the most embarrassing question ever",Claire said.

"Let me guess,have you made out with Jim yet",Darci yelled.

Claire covered Darci's mouth."Don't yell it out and of course I said no",Claire said.

We started laughing at Claire as she complained until Liam started crying.

"What's up with him",Toby asked.

"I don't know.He's been this way all day"Claire said while looking at Liam.

I tried to get him to stop crying but nothing worked.

We tried giving him a bottle and changed him but still nothing worked.

"Is he running a fever",Darci asked.

Claire came up to Liam and felt his forehead."No, it's not hot",she said.

"You three should go home and spend some time together",Toby said.

"We can't.We still haven't got any clues about Gunmar",Claire said.

"Are you talking about that big dude that trashed our whole city",Darci asked.

Claire nodded.

"Well Claire,it would be nice to just be the three of us",I said.

"Fine but if Blinky calls us in,I don't want to hear any complaining",Claire said.

Toby went to walk Darci home while Claire and I went to my house.

"Hey Jim.Im kinda worried about Liam.Ever since the encounter with the goblins,he's been fussing non-stop.He's in danger.What if they take him to the dark lands like the other kids",Claire said.

"Those goblins won't stand a chance because I won't let anything happen to y'all",I said.

Claire smiled as we walked into my house.Liam finally went to sleep so I set him in the crib we got him for my house and then went back to Claire.

"What are you doing",I asked.

"Nothing,just texting Mary",she said.

"Hey Jim.Your back to normal.You can go in the sun and everything.My little boy is back",My mom said.

Claire giggled at my mom while I rolled my eyes.

"Well ill go fix dinner",my mom said while going to the kitchen.

"Mom,ill fix dinner",I said.

"You sure",she asked.

I nodded and she let me have the kitchen to myself.

Ok let's see if I can remember this correctly.Omelets.

After about 15 minutes,I had 3 freshly cooked omelets.I hope that they don't taste like moms cooking.

I put them in the fridge and went out to the living room.Dinner is ready when ever you all want to eat

They nodded and sat on the couch."Has Mr.Blinky found anything yet",my mom asked.

"Nope but he did say something about that little green circle portal we had.We should see if Toby still has it",I said.

"Yeah,that is where the changlings come out when the goblins take a baby into the dark lands",Claire said.

"You all can check tomorrow.Right now,you two need to go to bed",my mom said.

"Fine",I said while going upstairs.Claire stayed in the guest bedroom where Liam is.

Well let's just hope we don't have anything dangerous heading our way right now.
