Claire's POV

I was walking towards Darci's house until I heard a branch snap.

I quickly turn around to see if anybody was there but no one was behind me.When I made it to Darci's house,I knocked on the door.

"He c-bomb",she said while I handed her the carrier.

"Hey Darci",I said.

"What's wrong?You look like you just saw a ghost",she said

"Um yeah,I'm fine.Thanks for watching him tonight"

"No problem,just pick him up about 9:00 tomorrow",she said.

I nodded."Thanks again",I said while walking down the street.I've been walking around for about an hour now so I decided to just got to troll market.

I cut through the woods and was walking until someone grabbed me."Hey let me go you idiot!"

He covered my mouth and put a bag over my head.Not again!

I quickly did my new trick to knock him off his feet.When he fell,I took the bag off my head and ran for Jim's house.I was closer to his house than trollmarket.

I ran up to the porch and knocked on the door.I looked behind me to see if that person was following me.Then, I turned back to face the door.Come on Jim,open the door.

"Hey Claire,what are you-"

I quickly pushed him inside and closed the door behind me.I put my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath.

"Are you ok"?

"There was a-...I think-...He just-"

"Ok,calm down Claire.Tell me what happened",Jim said.

I took a deep breath and stood up.

"I don't know.I was dropping off Liam until I heard something behind me.There was nothing there.Then,after I dropped him off,I was on my way to troll market until someone grabbed me.He put a bag on my head.I used my new trick and ran.

"Do you know what he looks like"?

I shook my head."I couldn't see him,it was too dark."

"That's weird because on my way here,there was a goblin following me",Jim said.

"Oh no,please don't tell me that there's more changelings"

"There's a possibility",he said.

"Does Blinky know?"

"Not yet but I'm telling him tomorrow",Jim said.

"Ok,sorry to disturb you so late at night."

"Don't worry about it,you know you can come over here when ever you like",Mrs.Lake said.

"Oh hello Mrs.Lake,"I said.

"Hey mom,do you think Claire can stay the night,"Jim asked?

"Of course she can stay here.Ill call your mother,"she said.

While she walked away,I looked at Jim.

"Maybe we should keep Liam tomorrow night",Jim said.

"Good idea.Theres been a lot of strange things going on and I don't want him to get In danger so I want to keep all eyes on him."

We walked upstairs and Jim sat at his desk while I pulled out my phone.

Claire:Hey Darci

Darci:Hey C-bomb

Claire:How's he doing?

Darci:He's been a perfect angel

Claire:Thank goodness.If he becomes a problem,I'll come pick him up.

Darci:No,it's ok Claire.You try to get some sleep.When your with Liam,you only get like Two hours of sleep.

Claire:Ok thanks Darci.Call me if you need anything.

Darci:Ok bye

I hung up and sat down on Jim's bed.

"She said that Liam's been fine.If he becomes a problem,she'll call me."

We sat in silence till I spoke up."Do you think that Gunmar is the cause of all this?"

"Most likely.Between the kidnapping and the big axe almost killing you,I would think it's him".

"What happens if Gunmar returns along with Morgana.What will we do with Liam?"

"Stop worrying so much.If anything happens,we will stop it.Toby,you and I can finally defeat him for good",Jim said.

"You almost died last time!Gunmar could be stronger than before."

"Like I said,If all of us are together.We can stop him for good",he said.

"Hey Jimbo",I heard Toby say.

I looked around the room until my eyes landed on a walkie-talkie

"What's up Tobes",Jim says into the walkie-talkie.

"What are you and Claire talking about",Toby asked.

"Nosy much",Jim said.

Jim opened the blinds to see Toby in his room waving at us.

I waved back.

"I finally know why Steve was over here",Toby said.

"Why",Jim asked.

"I went outside and found another smushed goblin along with a foot print.About the size of AAARRRGGHH's",Toby said.

"This is just starting all over again.Goblins and Gunmars minions.What could possibly go wrong now",Jim said with sarcasm.

All of a sudden a goblin jumps on the window.

"Oh crap,they followed me",Jim said.

"What!Who followed you",Toby asked?

"Goblins.Toby,hurry up and come over here",Jim said.

He quickly closed the blinds and looked at me."Quickly go close all openings to the house",Jim said.

I nodded and ran downstairs.I locked the doors,windows and moved a bookshelf over the big tunnel in the basement.

I went back to Jim to see him with his mom in the living room.

"I locked everything."

"Ok,mom go downstairs and stay down there till all this is over",Jim said.

"No,I'm going to help you",she said while grabbing a blender.

"Good idea Mrs.Lake.That scared them last time."

We started hearing snickering.I looked up to see them on the ceiling."Um...Jim."

He looked at me and I pointed at the goblins.The goblins grinned and jumped down.Jim stared fighting some of them while I ran to the kitchen.

All of a sudden,one jumped on me.I quickly tried getting him off me it wouldn't budge.I finally grabbed it by the neck and punched it in the face.

"Warhammer is here",I heard Toby say as he opened the back door.He ran inside and squished the ones behind me.

"Come on Claire.Im getting you out of here",Toby yelled while grabbing my arm.

I got up off the ground and jerked my arm away.

"I can help you guys!"

"You don't have your shadowstaff",Toby said.

"I don't need it.I can still help", I said while grabbing a pan and hitting a goblin with it.

I ran into the living room with Jim,Toby following behind.

Jim's mom was in the basement cause she gave up into changing Jim's mind about her fighting the goblins.

"Hey Jim,heads up",I yelled while throwing a goblin at him.He sliced the Goblin with his sword in mid air.

I watched as Toby smashed goblins with his Warhammer.Jim was killing other goblins while I was squishing them with the frying pan.One jumped at me so I put the pan in front of my face.It ended up with a smack.He dropped to the ground and rubbed his head. 

I quickly kicked him and smashed him with the pan.

All the Goblins gathered in the living room with us surrounding them.Then,they started fleeing out the door.

"I hate those thing",Toby said while wiping goblin guts off his hammer.

"What do you think they were after?"

"Well last time,they where after Blinky's brother because Gunmar wanted him",Jim said.

Gunmar wants something...or someone.My face soon turned into a worried look.

"Claire,are you ok",Toby asked.

"They weren't after us.They were looking for someone else!"

"Who else would they want.No one else is here",Toby said.

"They would only want someone that would be here almost all the time",Jim said.His face turned into the same expression as mine when he soon realized what I meant.

"They want Liam!"
