Jim's POV

"I'm actually glad you said no because I didn't want to give him up either.I was scared that we couldn't do it.I was also worried that you would agree",she said.

"I understand that your scared and it's ok.Im scared to",I said.

"We found something about Gunmar but it isn't good",she said.

"What do you mean?"

"Well Blinky said that there is a great chance that the person we saw was Gunmar",she said.

"He also said he wouldn't just be back for you.He's back for Eternal Night",She said.

"He can't do it without Morgana and she's in the shadow realm",I said.

"I don't know anything else but I do know that this means that you are in even more danger than before.We all are.You need Toby and I to help you defeat them",she said.

"Claire,you already know that you are in no condition to fight him."

"I'm excited for this but also kinda ready for it to be over",she said.

"I'm sure that after about 1 month you'll be able to start training again.One question,who will babysit him",I asked.

"I don't know.Definitely not you again,I hope.Last time you trashed my house",she said while pointing a finger at me.

I laughed."Maybe my mom.Your parents are always on a business trips
so they can't do it"

"Your mom as to work at the hospital at night though",she said.

"Oh that's right"

"Oh,I know.Darci and Mary could.They absolutely adore kids",she said.

"Have you told them yet?"

"I'll tell Darci but I'm not so sure of Mary.She can't keep a secret to save her life",she said.

"I would chose Darci.She did pass that baby flour test with Toby."

"Oh,I have some news",I said.

"What"?

"Well,Merlin said there's a way for me to be human again but...."

"but..."

"But the stone could kill me.Theres a 50% chance of me dying if I use it",I said.

"Don't tell me your actually considering it",She said.

"I am,for you and him."

"How will you defeat Gunmar again",she asked.

"I don't know but all I can do is give it my best shot"

"I'll meet up with Darci tomorrow to tell her",she said.

"Ok.Ill see you later,"I said while leaving.

Next day/Claire's POV

I was sitting on my couch till I heard the door bell ring.I hesitatingly walked up to the door and opened it to reveal Darci.

"Hey C-bomb,what did you want to t-",she was cut off when she saw me.

"Hey Darci."

"Did he do this to you",she asked.

"Well,let's just say Jim and I took it to far but we need your help with something."

"What is it"?

"We need you to babysit him when Jim and I are busy.Mostly at night."

"Sounds good to me.Have you told Mary",she asked.

"No,don't tell her.You know she can't keep secrets."

"True".

There was silence until I started having some pain.

"Claire,are you ok"?

"I'm fine Darci,just having some cramps",I said.

"Are you sure?Im calling Jim",she said.

"No!"

"What!Why",she asked.

"He's....busy.Lets not disturb him."

"C-bomb,your practically going into labor.Might as well tell him to get you to a hospital,just in case",she said.

"Im not in Labor,"I said.I got up to walk until another shock of pain hit me.I got nauseous as I felt water run down my leg.

"My water just broke",I said quickly.

The pain was non-stop.Im trying to convince her that I can wait but it wasn't going to well.

"Ok,that's it",she said while picking up her phone.

Jim's POV

I was training in the Heroes Forge with Blinky until I heard my phone go off.

"Hey Jimbo,Darci's calling you",Toby yelled.

I jumped down to the ground and walked over to my bag.Then,I picked up my phone.

Jim:Hello?

Darci:Hey Jim,its Darci.Im with Claire and it's not going so well.

Jim:what do you mean,not going well?

Darci:Jim her water broke!Shes in labor!

Jim:Do not move.Ill be there in 5!

I hung up and ran to Blinky,Toby,AAARRRGGHH to tell them.

"Sorry but I have to cut training short!"

"Why Master Jim,you were doing so good",Blinky said.

"Yeah and why was my girlfriend calling you",Toby asked.

"Let me sum it up for you real quick.Claire is in Labor and Darci is with her."

"Will Claire be alright",AAARRRGGHH asked.

"Yeah,she will be fine.Come on Tobes,your coming with me."

"Ok",he said while stuffing a taco in his mouth.

"Wish Claire good luck from me",Blinky yelled.

"Ok"

We got to Claire house and I opened the door.

"Finally,your here",Darci said.

I rushed over to Claire and sat down next to her.Her breathing was heavy as she was sweating.

"Hey Jim",Claire said.

"Yeah,I came too",Toby said while hugging Darci.

"I'll call an ambulance",Darci said.

"You were right Darci",Claire admitted.

"I'll call my mom and your parents",I said.

I quickly called my mom.

Barbra:Hello Honey

Jim:Mom,Claire's in Labor.What do we do!

Barbra:Calm down sweetheart.Just put me on speaker so Claire can hear me.

I quickly put her on speaker and gave the phone to Claire.

Barbra:Ok Claire,now just take deep breaths.Your just having contractions.

Claire:Ok

"The ambulance is here",Darci yelled.

Barbra:Ok Claire,I'll see you at the hospital.Remember,just breath.You'll do great.

In Emergency Room/Claire's POV

I laid back in the bed and yelped as another contraction hit me.I gripped the side poles and Jims hand.

"You are alright Claire",He said as he kissed my forehead.

"Please hurry",I said as tears streamed down my face.

"Only relatives may enter",the doctor said.

"Her parents are not here yet",I said.

Claire let out another painful scream.

"Then we must continue without them",he said as he rushed through the doors.

"Wait,I'm not going without Jim",Claire said as she gripped my hand.

I looked up at the doctor as he nodded."What ever makes her more comfortable"

We left everyone in the waiting room as Claire was laying down.I placed a cold rag on her head and she smiled.

The nurse came in and checked Claire."Your dilated 10cm.Its go time",she said.

Claire shook her head."No,not yet.He can't come yet"

"Claire,please.Lets get this over with",I said as I held her hand.

She nodded as the doctor and several nurses came in.

"Alright Claire,I'm Doctor Lench and I will be helping you today"

She nodded as he sat on a stool."Alright,I need you to push really hard"

Claire shook her head as she cried."I can't do this"

"Yes you can.You're a strong person Claire",I said.

Claire released another high pitched yelp.

I was currently in the ER room with Jim.I was tired but we were waiting for the nurse to come in with our child.

Jim was wearing that mask so he looked like his human self again.

We were quiet until I heard the door open.I looked up to see the nurse holding something bundled up in a blue blanket.

She walked towards us an handed me the child.

"He's perfectly healthy and he is adorable Miss Nuñez",she said while walking out the door.

I looked at Jim and smiled.Then,I looked back at our child.

He had my face features and he had a little bit of hair that is brownish.

"What are we going to name him?"

"How about Liam",Jim suggested.

"It's perfect."

Jim hesitatingly walked up and looked over at him.

"You want to hold him?"

Jim nodded and I handed him Liam.

"I can't believe I'm a father",Jim said.

"You'll be a great father,and I'm sure he'll be a daddy's boy."

"I wouldn't be too sure of that",he said.

Jim gave Liam back to me and knelt down next to the hospital bed.

We watched as Liam opened his for the for the first time.

"Oh my gosh",I said as Liam smiled with open eyes.

Jim smiled as I kissed Liam on the forehead.

The next morning/Claire's POV

I woke up to a bright sun in my eyes.
I looked around to see Jim,sleeping in the chair next to me.

"Jim.Jim",I said while trying to wake him up.

His head shot up and he looked around."Claire,are you ok?"

I laughed."Im fine Jim,just a little sore."

He sighed and looked at me with tired eyes.

Jim didn't get any sleep last night.Blinky called him in about some goblins he had to take care of,Along with some nomes.

"You know Jim,you don't have to stay with me.Go home and get some rest."

"No,I'm fine",he said.

"You sure?"

He nodded."Hello,Miss Nuñez.Your parents are here along with Mr.Lakes mother",the nurse said.

"Bring them in please."

We saw as the nurse let it Mrs.Lake and my parents.

"Hello Sweetheart,how are you feeling",my mom asked.

"I'm fine."

"Jim,honey.Maybe you should take a break for awhile to go spend time with Claire and your son.If they need you,they can call you if it's an emergency",Mrs.Lake said.

"That's actually a good idea.Ill talk to Blinky about it",Jim said.

"I think your parents would like to see the little bundle of joy",the nurse said as she walked in with Liam.She walked over to me and laid him in my arms.

"Thank you."

She nodded and walked out the door.

"Mom,Dad,meet Liam Lake",I said.

Not-Enrique popped his head out of my moms bag and hopped over to the hospital bed.

"He looks just like the Hunter and you big-eyes",he said.

They walked over and looked at Liam.He gave them a tiny smile.

"Oh my gosh Claire,he's absolutely adorable",my mom said.

"He has your face features and Jim's eyes",my dad pointed out.

"May I hold him",Mrs.Lake asked.

"Of course",I said while handing her Liam.

Jim smiled and kneeled down next to me as he watched his mom pick up his son.

Barbra smiled."He reminds me of you when you where born Jim",she said.

"Mom",Jim wined.

I laughed.

"Who wants Taco's",Toby yelled while walking in the room with Darci.

"C-bomb!Im so glad your ok.Where is he",she said excitedly while hugging me.

Mrs.Lake handed me Liam as I moved the blanket out of his face.

"Awww,he so adorable.I can't wait to babysit this little kiddo",she said.

I looked over to see Toby with Jim.

"You did great Jimbo.He's so adorable",Toby said.

"Thanks Tobes but I'm still worried about Claire.Its not always going to be this way.Theres always going to be danger everywhere we look just because I'm the trollhunter",he said.

"Dude,your being dramatic.In plus,I hope Liam is a taco fan",Toby yelled.

"He can't have solid foods till at least 6 months so you will have to wait",Jim teased.

"Sounds good to me",Toby said while eating another taco.
