*Zander, Luke & Hailey would go to their places*

Hailey: *looks at the audience and sees Drew whispering something to the person next to him then looks to the other side and sees other students who are waiting for Hailey and the others to start, Zoey was also their who was whispering something to the person next to her*

*scared*

Zander: *shouts but not loud just loud enough for Hailey to hear* Hailey!

Hailey: *turns towards Zander*

Zander: *gives Hailey a go on look*

Hailey: *turns back to the audience while breathing heavily then rushes out of the stage*

Zander: *shocked then looks at Luke*

Luke: *is also shocked then looks at Zander*

Luke: *is now Searching for Hailey and ends up at the lockers and sees Zander Comforting Hailey*

Zander: I don't understand! Talk to me! Are you sick?!

Hailey: No! I just, I can't! I can't do it! They're all looking at me! I-... *Hugs Zander and goes back to crying*

Zander: *just hugs back then looks at Luke*

Luke: *has a sad look on his face*

*flashback ends*

Luke: *rubs the back of his neck* ever since, she's been afraid to stand infront of the microphone. I think she suffers pretty badly from stage fright.

Jake(fang): That's...

Jake(Boboiboy): awful....

*Inside Jake*

Boboiboy: I-....

Fang: I knew we should've not agreed to let them be on they're own

Boboiboy: yeah.... *sad boi*

Fang: we definitely need to talk to her later...

Boboiboy: yeah....

*Back to Reality*

Zander: which is why you can't just expect her to go along with your wishes. Originally we weren't going to have a singer for the competition... until you showed up anyway.

As much as we all would've liked her to, Hailey didn't want to sing.

Jake(boboiboy): *runs the back of his neck* I didn't realise... I wouldn't have pushed the duet idea if I knew.

Luke: yeah we know that "Jake", it's not easy for Hailey to open up about this sort of thing...

J,Z,: ...

Luke: But, maybe this time, If she has you by her side, she'll find the confidence to sing on stage again. I hope she'll come around; I think the duet is a lovely idea.

Zander: I hate to admit it, but I agree. Even though you're an arrogant a*s, I think you might be able to bring out that confidence in Hailey.

If she does agree, and you help her to sing on stage, I'll be grateful to you.

J,L: *shock face*

Zander: *sees they're faces and blushes* don't look at me like that.

Luke: *laughs* like what?

Zander: you know what.

Jake(boboiboy): *looks at Luke and Zander with a bruh face while smiling but then the smile fades away as he turns to face where Hailey went worried about her*

*With Hailey*

*At the classroom*

Zoey: and then he gave me the most ugly, neon-pink sweater I've ever seen! And I was like, ew, what is this made of? Polyester?

Lia: *chuckles* I bet that was embarrassing. Oh, that reminds me of the time Adam thought it would be cute to-

Teacher: Girls!

L,Z: *turns towards their Teacher who is infront of them*

Teacher: *clears throat and crosses his arms* are we aware of what period this is?

Zoey: uh... I don't know, do you remember Lia?

Lia: uh, second or third?

Henry: psst- Lia!

L,Z: *looks at Henry*

Henry: it's the second period!

Lia: *bruh face* you know the teacher can hear you. -_-

Henry: Lia, no matter what, a gentleman is always there for a woman in need. UnU

Liam: you're turning out to be more of a simp than Jake, y'know...

Teacher: *sighs* your knight in shining armor is right Lia, it's second. Which means it's not free period to talk. *looks around and spots Hailey who is sitting alone* Go and sit over there next to Hailey.

Lia: Sir, there's literally 5 minutes of the lesson left. What's the point?

Teacher: 💢 The point!... *calms down* Lia, is for you to focus on your presentation. Considering your last piece about... *holds the bridge of his nose* tiktok e-boys...

You might want to use these 5 minutes more wisely. Unless you'd rather I make it 15 minutes more.

Lia: *shocked and starts walking to the empty seat beside Hailey*

Hailey: *currently writing and looks up to see Lia and then goes back to what she was doing*

Lia: *sighs* great... *crosses her arms then looks at what Hailey is doing*

Hailey: *countinues writing but has a not happy look on her face*

Lia: *notices* what are you so miserable about?

Hailey: *looks at Lia* why do you care?

Lia: I don't, but your face irritates me.

Hailey: you can drop the mean girl act y'know, Zoey isn't here for you to impress.

Lia: what?! Don't act like you know me! And the only act going on around here would be your music circus, right?

Hailey: *rolls eyes* good one... *says in a sarcastic tone then goes back to writing*

Lia: *laughing*

Hailey: *irritated then turns back to Lia* what now?

Lia: oh nothing, I just find it funny. How you think Jake is actually going to stay in your club and hang out with you after the competition.

Hailey: what are you talking about?

Lia: what, he didn't tell you? He joined your freak circus just to impress Daisy at the competition. He doesn't care about your dumb band.

Hailey: ya right -_- what do you know about why he joined? You barely even know him.

Lia: I think I know him better then you! (Author your literally talking to their daughter-) you've only been his friend for a month! Get over yourself.

Hailey: I- ugh, you know what, I couldn't care less what you think, Lia. You're not the one who will be singing on stage with him next Friday. *realised what she just said*

Lia: *blinks* ...what?

Hailey: you heard me. We're singing... together! And then you can judge just how close you think we are.

Lia: well you forced it on Jake, I bet he didn't want to sing with you. (F,B: excuse me?!)

Hailey: *smirks* actually, hes the one that asked me.

Lia: well, poor him, then. I'd hate to see his face when you freeze up on stage and ruin the entire thing. Y'know just like that time in middle school. That would be pretty embarrassing , wouldn't it?

Hailey: *angry and ends up getting up from her chair* Geez, what's your deal?!

*the other students including Jake would look at Hailey*

Teacher: for the love of-! Do I need to separate you two aswell?!

Hailey: ... No sir. Sorry. *sits back down crossing her arms looking away from Lia*

Lia: geez, don't get mad at me for your issues.

Hailey: atleast I didn't turn myself into a jerk just to please others.

Lia: *eyes widen then looks away from Hailey*

Drew: damn, who peed in her cheerios?

Jake(boboiboy): *is silent* Emma is probably upset because I pressured her about the duet.... I'll apologize after class.

*After class*

Hailey: *is currently walking at the halls with her head down*

Jake(boboiboy): hey! Hailey!

Hailey: *stops walking and turns towards Jake* oh, hey guys.

*The 2 start walking*

Jake(boboiboy): hey, er-

Jake(fang): was everything okay in there with Lia?

Hailey: oh, it was nothing, really.

*the 3 well more like 2 go quiet for a while*

Jake(boboiboy): er....

J,H: about the duet- 0_0

Jake(boboiboy): oh. er, 0v0

Hailey: *chuckles*

Jake(boboiboy): y-you go first.

Hailey: *smiles* I'll do it.
