Luke: hey, dont worry Sean, it's got to be somewhere in here. Do you remember taking it out of your bag?

Sean: I don't think I did! I might have subconsciously when I was buying stuff. But I-I don't remember.

Luke: hmmm maybe you left it in one of the stores, or someone might have reported a lost item by now. Why don't we go look for it together?

Hailey: good idea, Luke. Though this place is pretty big, and we've been in a lot of stores already...it might be quicker if we split up. How about we separate into two groups too look on each floor.

Luke: yeah, I agree.

Hailey: alright then, Sean, I and... *looks at both Milly and Jake* hmm.... Jake. We'll look on the second floor together. Luke, you look on the first floor with Zander and Milly.

Milly: Whaaaat?! Why do I have to go with them?!

*both zander and milly would countinue to argue*

Luke: we'll ring you if we find it. We can meet you back here afterwards.

Hailey: sounds like a plan. And goodluck handling those two, you might need it.

Luke: *chuckles* I'll keep a tight hold on both of them.

Sean: *sighs* I'm so dead...

Jake(boboiboy): hey, dont beat yourself up about it Sean, these things happen. If worse comes to worse, I'm sure we can find a spare laptop for you somewhere!

Sean: Yeah.... thanks Jake. *has a sad look on his face*

Jake(boboiboy): *worried*

Hailey: okay, are we ready to go searching?

and when I came back home and gave my mom the groceries, she asked me where my brother was. That's when I remembered, I left him in the soup aisle! *laughs*

Hailey: *knows its blaze* remind me to never leave my "step sister" with you -_-💢💢....

Sean: I just can't believe I was so careless...I know it's an old laptop, but it's how I make music, my passion in life. I dont know what I'll do with myself in my free time...

Hailey: *feels bad for Sean*

Jake(boboiboy): *looks around and spots R&J's* hey, there's R&J's!

*the 3 of them would walk towards the shop and stops at the entrance*

*Zoe and leah are currently chatting with each other while walking while for drew he was walking with hands in his pocket looking down and take out his phone while one hand is still in his pocket and was about to text someone but was called out by Zoe and puts his phone back inside putting both hands back in his pocket and the 3 would go inside a shop*

Jake(boboiboy): *sighs* phew. That was close.

Hailey: *notices the shopping bags* Zander... what are those shopping bag's? Did you even bother looking?!

Zander: obcourse we did! *rolls eyes* but there was a sale on for ties in Heather's Sweaters.

Luke: *takes some of Zander's shopping bags to make it not heavy for Zander*

Zander: It's called killing two birds in one stone.

Hailey: *bruh face* well I'm glad shopping went well. How about finding?

Luke: *sighs* No, none of the stores had any lost laptop's....

Milly: oh yeah, we walked past the monke- oh, I mean, your friends, Jake. 👁v👁

Luke: huh? Why are you hiding from them? I thought they were your friend's.

Jake(boboiboy): um... heh. Well I sort of... ditched them today. I told them I was grounded, so I couldn't let them see me here.

Milly: aww, you chose us!! See, I told ya Zander, he knows we're his real squad fam.

Zander: Milly stop trying to make "squad fam" happen, it's not going to happen.

Sean: *arrives* oh, everyone's here.

Hailey: Did they have it?

Sean: No...So, I take it you guys didn't...?

Luke: sorry Sean, no luck...

Sean: *sighs* well, looks like it's gone for good...

Hailey: I'm sorry Sean. Do you have anything else at home you could use?

Sean: no, my laptop was the only thing I had.

M,L,Z,J,H: *feels bad for Sean*

Sean: ah, don't worry guys! I think I have about half the amount saved up for a new one. I guess I'll have to try to get more shifts at the Milliot Mart to afford a new one.

Hailey: ....

Sean: I'm gonna check my bank balance real quick. I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time today. *walks away with a sad expression on his face*

Hailey: poor Sean... maybe I could use the music club funds to help him afford a new one...

Milly: I could give him my piggy bank money to help. I think I've got like 5 bucks?

Jake(boboiboy): *while milly and hailey countinue talking he felt a vibration in his pocket and takes out his phone and notices a text from Drew*

*the text says*

Drew: Since your grounded, how bout we play genshin tonight? You still have that laptop I got you?

Jake(boboiboy): *thinks then looks at Sean*

Sean: *checking his bank balance on a atm and sees his balance is $56.98* Well, I'm screwed. *puts his credit card back in his bag*

maybe they will be too busy arguing when I get home to even notice it's missing anyway... *was about to walk to where the others are but then-*

Jake(boboiboy): Hey, Sean!

Sean: *stops walking and turns towards Jake* oh, yeah Jake?

Jake(boboiboy): so, you know what I said about a spare laptop?
