Larry's P.O.V.

Everyone is weakening. Their strength is fading... We'll DIE if this keeps up. I have to get rid of all the demons at once... and I have to defeat X to do so... if I defeat X then the demons die. If I defeat the demons then I help the girls. If I help the girls I can repay them for saving me from darkness. But... if I do all this...

I'm sorry, everyone. Max, Aera, Serenity, Claire, Jersey... please... forgive me. For what I must do cannot be helped. I hope I can be at ease after this...

I stood up.

"Larry..." Jersey began worriedly. "What are you doing...?"

"I'm sorry," was all I could say. Tears came to her eyes as she mouthed 'No.' I really must do this...

I ran towards X, conjuring up a sword in my hand.

"Don't do it, Larry!" I heard Max yell.

"Larry! STOP!!!" Claire shouted.

"I'm sorry, everyone!" I apologized loudly. I charged at X with all my might.

"Stupid Larry..." I heard X say-NO! That's not X... that's the mistress speaking.

"I'M SORRY!!!" I yelled again. X struck me with his sword, like I predicted, and then I looked at him.

"Larry..." X trailed off. His eyes began to tear up.

"I'm sorry..." I replied quietly. I then slowly took my sword and with all the strength I had left, I struck him with my sword.

'X...' I said to him telepathically.

'Why did it have to be this way?' X asked me.

'It didn't,' I told him.

'Larry...'

'My only hope is that we make it to another life... and if we do... I hope we get reincarnated together... AS BROTHERS!!!'

Third Person P.O.V.

"LARRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" they screamed out in unison.

X and Larry penetrated through the invisible platform and fell out of sight. All those who had bonded with Larry broke down crying. Chrysta, however, stood there in silence, unsure of what to do.

'Larry... did you do that... to protect people?' one side seemed to question.

'What are you doing?!' the other side yelled. 'This is your chance!'

As Chrysta debated with herself, the mistress realized that she didn't have complete control. So, with all the dark energy from her being fused with X and the power she gave to Larry that was released, she took 100% control over Chrysta's body. It was intense pain for Chrysta, but the mistress didn't care.
