Claire's P.O.V.

I can't believe that didn't work!  What to do what to do... Oh!  Jersey and Larry seem to be getting along... THAT'S IT!!!!!

"What we've been trying to do is ELIMINATE the darkness, when ALL WE NEEDED TO DO WAS TURN IT INTO LIGHT!!!" I squealed with joy.  This'll be much easier, now!

"How do we plan to do that?" Aera asked, doubtfully.

"We'll use the crystal!"  Larry looked at me with his eyes wide.

"You'll actually use the crystal... The Neol Crystal... to try to heal me?" he said in disbelief.

"Yup!"  I'm so happy!  I'm finally able to help him!!!

Larry's P.O.V.

I... I don't believe it!!!  Though I deceived her, though X and Chrysta are my comrades, though I'm the enemy, Claire won't kill me!  She's doing everything she can to help me... and if she succeeds, then I'd owe her my life.

"Neol Crystal," she began softly. "Please!  Heal Larry from his darkness!  Heal him of his misery!!!"  The whole area glowed a white bright light.  I felt myself cringe... NO!  Don't cower, Larry.  Let the darkness leave and the goodness come!

'Larry... my faithful servant, or should I say, my untrustworthy servant.  Why did you betray me?! I granted you power!  I granted you deliverance from your loneliness!  I even granted you friends!'  My Ex-mistress... "X and Chrysta will NEVER be my friends!" I spoke back.  'Your rebellion will cost you dearly.'  "I don't serve you anymore!!!"  'Then you... will perish...'  "We'll just see about that, old woman!"  '...WHY CAN'T I KILL YOU?!?!'  "Because my darkness, the darkness that you used to loom in inside me... THAT DARKNESS HAS BECOME LIGHT!!!!!"  As my Ex-mistress lost contact with me, I felt strange... I felt cured of my darkness... I felt... REDEEMED!!!

As the light faded, I saw everyone uncover their eyes.

"Did it...?" Claire worriedly asked me.

"Yes," I responded. "It sure did."  Claire ran up to me and quickly checked me over for damage or something...

"We did it, girls!" she rejoiced.  She then caught me off-guard... with a hug.  Hugs are a symbol of friendship... right?  Jersey, Aera, and Serenity joined in, and it turned into a group hug!  Friends... that's what they are... my true friends...
