Claire's P.O.V.

As X continued his evil laughing, I looked around for Usagi.  There she is!  Right by Tuxedo Mask!  I could just barely hear their conversation.

"...isn't there anything I can do to help, Mamo-chan?"

"I'm fine, Usako.  I'll be okay."

...

Wait... DID THEY JUST...?!?!  MAMO-CHAN?!?!  USAKO?!?!  Well, Usako makes sense... but Mamo-chan?!  I remember something about Usagi having a boyfriend... and something about a Mamorou Chiba...

Wait...

Does this mean...

TUXEDO MASK IS MAMOROU CHIBA AND HE'S USAGI'S BOYFRIEND?!  WHY DIDN'T I SEE IT BEFORE!!!  I don't know why... but I begin thinking about Elise... I hope she's happy... I miss her... wait a sec... I NEED TO GET BACK TO REALITY!!!

As reality becomes clear again, I noticed Tuxedo Lotus giving me a strange look... but what's even stranger is that I understand it completely.  I nodded at him.  And then he gives me one final look.  I'm trying to figure out what it means...  but then I realize he's charging towards X!!!  Now I understand everything!  The last look was to reassure me that he would be okay...

...but why would anyone give me a look like that?  The only people who've ever given me that look are my family.  Why is it comforting me so much?  Why... whenever someone gives me that look I feel safer...

...Why?
