When she began to hear the voice, she instantly bowed her head with respect then responded in her mind.

"Good afternoon to you too, Sekhmet.  I apologize if I did anything wrong."

With a soft chuckle, the feminine voice spoke once again, "You didn't, although you did gaze into my eyes. Why?"

Mykala bit her lip and gazed back up, "I do not know. . ."

The Egyptian goddess hummed, "Well. .try your best, little one. I am very curious."

The female human nodded quickly and began:

"Maybe it was the way that your eyes were so si metrical and shaped your face so well.

To me it seemed as if the carver(s) who did this took their time to create you, Sekhmet.

I see art as an emotional or expressional way for someone like me to convey. . .and you sitting like that showed off a vibe of 'Warrior' or 'Leader' like status.

Your statue of you in front of us both depicts you as a strong, brave, courageous, and proud goddess."

When Mykala had finished speaking, silence filled up the room for a good minute.

But then the cold spot moved in front of her and she felt a ghost like finger lift up her chin.

With a shocked expression, Mykala saw the ghostly outline of the female warrior goddess.

The goddess had a small smile upon her face and with a small dip of her head, she thanked the young human artist.

"Thank you child. I've been waiting for someone to see me like that and not just a 'statue', but a real thing."

And with that, the voice said a small 'Goodbye for now' then vanished.  One of the lights flickered slightly and soon enough people started to walk into the room as if nothing was wrong.

But for Mykala, it was an awesome experience.

She went back down to Chicago to see Sekhment once again (but also had her little brother's doctor appointment) this year in August.

When she arrived in the room, her father and little sister where beside her.  Her father noticed that her oldest daughter's eyes almost sparkled in firework way, but frozen into place.

A few minutes passed by and her little sister asked "Why are we in front of this statue?  It looks weird."

And with that, Mykala slowly turned her head down to her little sister while a cold spot wrapped around the three of them.

Mykala narrowed her eyes at her little sister then looked at the statue, "I am meeting my friend, Sekhmet, once again.  She said 'Hi' to me."

Her father questionably glanced at Mykala as if she was going crazy, but Mykala ignored the glance and went back to chatting with Sekhmet until she felt her little brother come and tug her away.

But she never would forget these words that the goddess said to her:

"Thank you for seeing me again, Mykala.  I enjoyed it.  Please come back soon. . ."
