It seems to unrealistic for me at this moment to be writing this note because honestly, I didn't have the slightest faith in me when I started this book. I was naive about the entire murder-mystery genre and to even write a thriller was something beyond me a year ago.

And today, I stand here, in front of all of you amazing readers and say that I've managed to complete my dream.

And I can say that I'm nothing but proud.

When I started this book back in July of 2020 , I didn't have any idea how to proceed. I had just completed my first book YBWM and I just concord up the idea of writing a murder mystery, with zero experience.

Needless to say, I was scared. Scared shitless because I had immense hopes for this book. It was something I hadn't ever tried writing and on top of that, it was my second book. After the success of YBWM , I didn't want to flop. So with these thoughts, I had begun this journey.

Now that we've come to the end of it, my heart overwhelms with happiness and sadness at the same time. I'll truly miss this book.

What I'll also miss is keeping you guys at the edge of your seats, leaving you on cliffhangers, reading your reactions on your favourite character's death and so many other things.

Himanshu, Veronica, Siya, Kartik, Zoya, Saina, Avinash and Ahaan —— all of them would always hold a special place in my heart. It's for them that I've survived a very strenuous time of my life. Being 17 sucked but it sucked little less because of these 8. Alishka Malhotra, thank you for being the character that came to my mind on a random July afternoon and because of whom, this whole ordeal happened in the first place.

As I always say, it is a joint effort that makes any project successful. I can't thank you readers enough for all the love and appreciation that you have given this book and me. You guys have been so supportive, especially at times when I had almost given up on the book.

I'd also like to inform everyone of you that I had already planned to publish a sequel to Secrets And Sins , which will probably come out next year. I'm still developing the plot and I also have some other projects lined up before it, thus the wait.

I really hope all of you will give my future books the same love and affection that you've given to Secrets and Sins.

With that, I'll keep my phone down. Thank you all once again for everything.
