Leslie's POV

I walked away from my dorm after Kerric slammed the door in my face. I had this hunger - this incurable hunger. I roamed the halls, muttering incoherent words to myself. A sound then catches my ear. The sound of joy, of giggling girls. I lean back against the wall next to the door and listen.

"He is so cute!" screams a high pitched girl.

"I know, right!" responds her nasally room mate.

I could hear their pulses. I could feeling their blood traversing throughout their bodies. I licked my lips, wanting to drain them dry. No longer being able to hold back, I slam open the door and pounce on a short, brunette girl. I sink my teeth into her neck and begin to drain her life force. Her red-headed companion screams loudly and begins whacking me with a pillow. The brunette's screams shortly die out. I toss her limp bod aside and turn to her friend, who is now cowering and inching her way towards the door. Before she could leave, I take hold of her and bleed her dry. Feeling a surge of energy coursing thorough my veins as I throw her body away from me, I run into the halls. My body was invigorated. Then, suddenly, a bell rings, causing me to stop dead in my tracks for only a moment before my body begins to move on its own to the source of the chiming. 

Dalton's POV

I sigh as I lay in bed. I had no more desire to write and I could no longer sleep. I stand up and head to the window. I push it open and allow the cold night breeze to blow through my blue locks. I let this breeze calm me and the the scenery soothe my mind. Then, from down below, I see Leslie walking into the surrounding woods in a trance like state. With nothing else in mind and my curious nature peaked, I grab my sweater and a flashlight and head out to follow her. Once outside, I stay enveloped in the shadows, not wanting to be revealed. She heads deeper in the woods. I stay hot on her tail. She comes out to a clearing, with a large fire burning in the center. I stay hidden behind a tree. She approaches a figure, who is adorning a dark cloak. Upon closer inspection and with help from the fire's light, I see that Leslie is drenched in blood.

"Have you feasted child?" asks the figure.

Leslie nods in response.

"Good. Act normal now child. Act as humanly as possible. Each night you shall receive just nourishment. Go now and take this ring to prevent a fiery demise."

Leslie takes hold of the silver ring a slides it onto her finger. She turns and walks away. Only walking a few meters, she suddenly stops dead in her tracks. Her hand slowly moves up, her fingers pointing my my direction. 

"There is someone there." she says in a monotone voice.

"Shit." I murmur.

I quickly turn and run as quickly and quietly as possible. 

"Catch the spy." commands the figure.

I could hear footsteps quickly catching up to me, too quick to be human. I then see a hole and dive into it. Leslie then runs right by me, her eyes as red as blood and teeth as sharp as a knife. She was in such a blind rage that she had not noticed me. I hold my breath and hope that I am not found. When all seems clear, I rise up and make my way back to the school. I pant as I enter the building. I then quickly make my way to my dorm.

"Hello, Dalton." says a familiar voice. 

I turn to see Leslie, smiling behind me.

"L-Leslie..."

"Where have you been?" she asks.

"I went to the bathroom and was heading back to my dorm..." I state, trying to cover my tracks.

"Alright then. Take care." she says with a smirk and a click of the heels as she walks by me. 

I sigh with a breath of relief as she turns the corner and leaves. As I open my door, a blunt object hits my head with great force. I collapse onto the ground, my consciousness fading, blood gushing. Before passing out, I saw Leslie looming over me, smirking menacingly. 

Kerric's POV

"Earth to Kassy!" I shout.

"Huh?" she murmurs. "Oh, Kerric. What are you doing here?"

"Leslie was just trying to kill me!" I holler.

"Woah, woah woah... Calm down." she says, not seeming fazed by this news.

"What is wrong with you!? How are you not freaking out by this!?"

"I am just thinking rational." she says as she touches three fingers to her lips, as if she was reminiscing. 

"Well what are we going to do?"

"I'm not sure."

"Well what's that then?" I say as I point to the book beside her.

"J-Just a book..." she says shakily. "For personal reading."

"Hmm.... Alright then....." I reply, not really believing her.

"We can work on this in the morning. There is nothing we can do right now. Go back to your room and go to bed." she says, too eager to get me out of here.

"Fine. See you later." 

I then leave and head towards my dorm.

"Holy shit!" I scream.

There I see blood in front of the door and being dragged down the hall.

"Dalton!"

I open the door to see the room empty.

"Oh no..."

I run back to Kassy's room, to tell her what has happened. As I run, I hope that Dalton is not hurt.
