Lovino sat watching the others train. He watched their every move seeing what was wrong with what they did. He was met with a voice but he didn't look away.

"Shouldn't you be training?" The Brit asked.

"No." He yelled to Gilbert for falling over.

"Why? Don't you have wings?"

"You really don't know anything...Arthur I suggest that you listen to me closely." Again he yelled to those training giving them a break. Then turning to Arthur. "I lost my wings but you have a secret that even you don't know. Trust me, I can tell. It's you that should be training. Step one, flying."

"Wha-" Arthur screamed as Lovino picked him up and chucked him quite a few feet up. He landed hard.

"I see. Well, we're just going to have to do this the hard way."

"How the hell are you so strong?"

"I'm not, I was just angry."

That night

"Yao, why didn't you tell him?"

"Because if I did he would be asking too many questions."

"Lazy ass."

"Look who's talking."

"You got me there."

"What are you two talking about?"

"You mother's ass." Lovino made sure the add extra sarcasm. "What do you think we're talking about?"

"I just wanted to say that we need Kiku."

"Oh right."

"Don't worry he'll be here in about four seconds." Yao responded. Quite literally, four seconds later Kiku arrived.

"Hello."

"That was fast."

"I was told this was an emergency."

"More or less."

"Kiku!" They all turned in the direction of the call and saw Alfred running to Kiku. Gilbert looked to Kiku and found the pure fear written on the small man's face. He then saw Kiku seemingly disappear into the sky. "Kiku! Why?"

"Alfred, it's probably because you're so fat that it's like dropping piano on the poor guy." Lovino said looking to the sky for Kiku.

"You wanna bet that's true?" Alfred grinned.

"Oh look he's coming back." Everyone looked up to find Kiku coming down fast, socking Alfred in the jaw and gracefully landing on his feet.

"Nice!" Gilbert laughed.

"Now why was I called here?"

"We have a little problem Kiku."

"What problem?"

"Remember our little burden?"

"Yes."

"Remember how we fought it and failed?"

"Of course."

"Well, we're trying that again."

"Are you crazy!" Everyone froze. "What made you think that would be a good idea?!"

"Things."

"I will help but only with him." He pointed to Arthur.

"Great!"

"Why am I so special anyway?"

"You really don't know."

"No one wants to tell me."

"You were there too."

"What?"

"You were with us when we tried to fix the burden." Kiku looked to the fire. "It wasn't just Lovino who lost his wings. You did too."

"Is that why...?"

"Yes, it is why you lost your memory but it is possible for you to get your wings back. It's why Lovino is here."

"How do you know this?"

"It happened to me."

"Oh."

"Now, are you ready for training?"

"It's midnight!"

"I know."
