When Harry, Scott and Louis make it to the apartment Louis doesn't want the questions to start, he doesn't want the boys to think he's going crazy. He just runs straight past the boys in the lounge and to his room.

Harry and Scott sigh and head to the lounge where the boys are.

"He okay?" Edward asks

"Not really, he's pretty shaken up" Harry says

"The poor kid" Andy says

"Joey and Charlie are on their way over" Drew says

Harry and Scott nod, they just hope Louis is okay

When Joey and Charlie show up, the boys all greet them with hugs and they make it to the lounge room. Drew gets everyone a beer and Andy orders Thai for everyone. They sit down and get comfortable.

"How's Louis" Charlie asks

Charlie and Joey remember Louis as a cute 8 year old, he was always wanting to be doing whatever his brothers were doing and he would get so upset when he had to stay behind.

The boys would always make sure they brought Louis something back, whenever they went out. they also tried to take him places too, they often took him to the movies and the toy store. Charlie and Joey remember the boys having to sit through Back the the Future over and over again, but they loved it, they would literally do anything for Louis.

When Louis left with his parents, it was evident that the boys missed him a lot, they would talk about him all the time and would make so much effort to see him when they could. Until uni got to much and their mum got sick, they just lost touch a little. Charlie and Joey can tell how much the boys love having Louis back in their lives and how grateful they are he's safe.

"He's pretty shaken up" Scott says

"Understandable, did either of you two see Troy at all?" Joey asks

"No, nothing, we just saw Louis stop running" Harry says defeated

Harry and Scott were introduced to Joey and Charlie early on and they all became good friends, so they've all known each other for years and they trust each other impeccably.

"Well we went down to the fields, we couldn't find anything" Joey says

Just then Louis walks out of his room, he's showered and changed into his black sweats and black sweater. He looks so small, he has his phone in his hand and looks shaken

"You okay darling?" Harry asks concerned as he walks over to Louis

Louis looks at everyone in the room

"Lou, you remember Charlie and Joey" Andy says

"Yeah, hi" Louis says shyly as Harry reaches him and kisses him on the head in comfort

"Hiya Lou, we didn't think you'd remember us" Charlie says smiling

Charlie and Joey are attractive, Charlie has blonde hair and Joey has brown, both chiseled and muscly, intimidating, typical cops. Louis remembers them as being so nice though.

"I remember you, you fixed my skateboard that time" Louis says shyly.

"We did, are you still skating? I remember we could never get you off that thing" Joey says smiling

Louis blushes embarrassed.

"Not so much" he smiled shyly

The boys smile fondly at Louis, he's so adorable and shy.

"Joey and Charlie have just come by to have a chat about Troy. If you're okay with that" Drew says making sure Louis is okay.

"I guess" Louis says

Harry leads him to the lounge chair, it's a u-shape lounge and they all fit, Drew, Edward and Joey preferring to sit on the carpet floor with pillows though.

Louis makes it to the couch and he's placed next to Scott as Harry sits down on his other side. Louis brings his knees up to his chest and looks towards the boys

"So you know we've been looking for your dad for six months" Charlie asks gently

"Well, not until today but yeah" Louis says and Charlie nods

"We've been trying to track him down as we don't think he's left London" Charlie tells Louis

"Yeah, well he was at the fields today" Louis says

"Can we ask what happened?" Joey asks

"I....I...got into trouble from coach, Robbie and I did, he was playing dirty all game and shoulder barging me" Louis says

"Lou" Edward says

"It wasn't me, I swear Edward, It was Robbie, and coach saw me ask him to stop, thought we were fighting and told us to run laps" Louis defends

"He's telling the truth we saw it from the car" Scott says and the boys sigh

"You need to be careful Lou, you're the one on probation, not Robbie" Andy says

"I know" Louis says defeated

"Then what happened" Joey asks

"Robbie and I were running laps and we were about six laps in when I looked up towards the Forrest and I saw dad, he was just standing there watching me" Louis states

"Did he do anything?" Charli asks

"He signalled he was watching me, smirked at me and then disappeared behind the trees" Louis says quietly

"What was he wearing? Did he look well kept or dishevelled" Joey asks

"He looked normal, his hair was a bit longer but he was in jeans and a shirt, he looked normal, definitely not like he was on the run or homeless or anything" Louis says

The boys nod, just as dinner shows up at the door, Edward and Andy going to answer and serve up.

"This is all great information Louis, thank you, this will really help us" Joey says thankfully

Louis just nods

"Is he watching me? Is he going to come near me again?" Louis asks, scared of the answer.

"We don't know kiddo, but we will be doing everything we can to make sure he doesn't come near you again" Charlie says

Louis nods in thanks

Louis is actually afraid, why has his dad waited six months to show himself, Louis doesn't understand and he doesn't have a good feeling.

"Listen, if you see him again or anything happens, you feel unsafe, anything, call us or the boys" Charlie says

"Where's your phone?" Joey asks and Louis hands it over

Joey puts his and Charlie's numbers in Louis contacts

"Those numbers are our direct lines okay. Day or night, whatever, call us if you need to" Joey says

Louis nods as he takes his phone back

"Thank you" Louis says

"Anytime kid" Charlie says

Louis relaxes a little, he trusts Joey and Charlie and the boys. He just hopes his dad doesn't make a regular appearance at school.

Louis eats very little but he watches the boys all laugh and joke with each other, try to ease the tension a little. He absolutely loves his brothers and the boys, they are all so safe, even Charlie and Joey. Louis loves watching them all together, he's so thankful they've included him in the life they've created. Louis only hopes he can be as successful as them one day.

Louis goes to the bathroom after dinner is cleaned up and Harry and Scott turn to Joey and Charlie.

"Thanks for having Louis back boys" Harry says

"Of course H, we will protect him" Joey says seriously

"Do you think his dad is following him" Scott asks worriedly

Joey and Charlie sigh

"It's likely, yeah" Charlie says

"We just need to be vigilant and hopefully now we know he's following Louis we can catch him"Joey says

The boys nod just hoping it's true

That night at bedtime Louis changes into his pyjamas and goes to hop into bed. He tries to fall asleep but can't and he makes his way to Harry and Scott's room. He knocks as Harry and Scott are getting into bed

"Come in" they call

Louis makes his way shyly in and Harry and Scott smile so wide

"Hi darling" Scott says

"Hi" Louis says shyly

"You okay?" Harry asks

"Yeah...I just...can I sleep with you" Louis asks blushing

"Never even have to ask sweetheart" Harry smiles and Louis can't help but smile back

He's helped into bed by Harry and Scott and he's laid down in the middle between them. He falls asleep to gentle touches and soft kisses and hopes he can sleep the whole night through.
