today is alani's first birthday and we are setting up her birthday party. it's crazy it's already been a year it's like she was just born.

"okay i got the cake" aubrey said putting it on the table.

lani did end up picking doc mcstuffins for her theme so that's what we're doing. rayah came downstairs with alani who was still half asleep on her shoulder.

"jada will you drop her off at rickea's apartment ? she said she will take her shopping so we can finish setting up" rayah said.

"ofc.. come on pretty girl" jada said taking her from rayah.

"okay all of the food and treats are set" kk said.

"and her presents are on the table" flau added.

"now juju and rayah you guys hang the banner yall are the tallest" aubrey said and i nodded.

"WASSUP" mikey yelled making me shake my head.

"mikey please" kk said huffing.

"dang yall females always got a attitude" he mumbled.

"and you always doing dumb sh** now ain't ya ?" kk replied.

"guys not today" aubrey said.

"hey ma you look good" mikey said hugging flau.

"thank you bae" she said kissing his cheek.

"ohh um i got a big surprise for lani" mikey said making me and rayah look at each other.

"oh lord" rayah said.

5 minutes later jada came through the door.

"how'd she do ?" rayah asked.

"pretty good we had to bribe her with fruit snacks to go but hey it worked" jada said making us laugh.

the party starts at 2:30 and it's 11:05. we still had to get ready but everything is set up and ready to go. we made sure to remind everyone of her party being today and what time.

"okay guys we should go get ready" kk said and we nodded.

normally we would've let lani stay here since it's almost time for her party but her outfit is still being made so she wanted to give it a little more time.

"so is she almost done with her outfit ?" jada asked rayah.

"she said she is. all ik is im not going to her again because i literally told you a month prior when her party was and when i needed it done by. i should pay her half" rayah said.

"and should" jada said making me laugh.

"you so messy" i said laughing.

we finished getting dressed and rayah went to pick up her outfit. it was 1:37 and everyone started showing up.

"hey guys" i said to rhyne, allisha, and naz.

"hey girl. where do we put the gifts ?" rhyne asked.

"oh there's a gift table right over there" i said pointing.

"hey did it turn out right ?" i asked as rayah sat her outfit down.

"yes and it better have or i was gone show my a**" rayah said and we nodded. 5 minutes later rickea brought alani and her hair was so cute.

"thank you for doing her hair" rayah said.

"ofc that's my niece and imma make sure she look good at all times" rickea said.

"let's go get you dressed baby" rayah said as lani clapped her hands together.

"hey guys come on in" i said to the aces team.

"ouu this is so cute" aja said.

"im hiring yall to plan lennox birthday party" chelsea said.

"we'll be happy to do it" i said smiling.

"is this the gift table ?" jackie asked as she held a gift in her hand.

"yes you can sit it right there thank you" i said.

"omgg hi guys thanks for coming" rayah said hugging them.

"ofc it's our niece 1st birthday yk we couldn't miss it" kelsey said.

"ohh lani has been wanting to show you guys this" rayah said. i held her and rayah showed them her custom made shirt that had a gold medal attached to it.

"omg look how cute." kelsey said.

"you guys should've seen her clapping when you guys won the gold medal she loved it" rayah said.

"imma send yall the video"

"please do omg" jackie said.

afterwards we started her party. we fixed plates for all the kids and chilled before we sang happy birthday to her. we could tell she's gonna be shy by the way she hid her face.

"it's giving aunt jackie" aja said.

"girl ntm on me. that's okay niece we can be shy together" jackie said making us laugh.

"happy birthday lani" sydney yelled making her giggle.

"i can't believe she's one already.. it's like we just found out what gender she was" kelsey said.

"right she's growing up so fast" chelsea said.

"too fast" jackie added.

"and her little outfit ate down" aja said making us nod.

"it's giving 1 year old baddie" she added making us laugh.

"period" juju said.

"i just wanna thank you guys for everything. thank you to my girls for decorating once again lol lani loves it. thank you guys for her gifs, for coming, and even just the happy birthdays! we appreciate you guys so much" i said.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANI" everyone shouted making her clap her hands.

"okay let's eat some cake" brittany yelled making us laugh.

"oh you so big" kaleah said laughing.

"no fr because be so fr" diana said laughing.

i put alani down and i gave her to jackie so i could cut the cake.

"you ready for cake pretty girl ?" jackie asked and she clapped her hands as she giggled. i cut the cake and handed alani her piece.

she looked around and then shoved her face in it.

"omgg" i said laughing as jada recorded and took pictures.

"aww i love that" chelsea said.

"aww that's it baby girl" jackie said.

"okay let's go get you cleaned and then i'll feed you cake" jackie said standing up as she took her to the bathroom.

we sat around the living room and chilled and talked mostly about basketball but it was a little vibe. alani's first birthday party was a success i love these people. she's blessed with so many aunties and i love that for her.
