Glory ran through all the different ways of telling him. Yell, "surprise! You're a father!"? Be blunt and just say "we have an egg."? She didn't know. Maybe she would when she saw him. Yeah. That's it. Wait for the moment. Good plan.
She swung through the trees and gained a good rhythm, but soon, that was ruined by her extremely pink and extremely happy older brother.
"Hey Glory! How's Silver?" He said cheerfully, grinning widely.
She tried to maneuver her way around him, but he kept on blocking her way out. "Ugh, Jambu, no time to talk, uhm, queenly stuff to do."
"I'm sure it's not that important, talk to your brother, won't you? Family is important!" He attempted making a stern face, but failed and ended up giggling.
She found her chance and bolted.
She was blocked again by Orchid and Mangrove. She saw Mangrove had glasses and was momentarily distracted. "Hey, Mangrove. Hey, Orchid. Glasses? Didn't think that was your thing, Mangrove."
His cheeks reddened a hint. "Yeah, Orchid says my eyesight's awful. You look tired. What happened?"
Glory's eyes bugged out. "Frog liver! Sorry, got to go!"
She dashed past him, not bothering to look at his bewildered face.
She crashed into her and Deathbringer's hut, gasping.
He looked up from his scrolls, mildly surprised. "Hey Glory. What's up?"
"Have... egg- brother..." She panted.
He raised an eyebrow. "Have egg brother? What?"
She glared at him, but caught her breath and told him everything.
He inhaled deeply, soaking up everything. "Yep. Yeah. Totally cool. Awesome. GLORY. I'M A DAD."
She giggled. "Yes you are."
"Yes you are." She repeated, more softly, almost to herself.
