Anti woke up outside on the ground with the manor nowhere in sight, his knife lying by his side as his eyes slowly cracked open.

Goose bumps rippled across his bare arms as a strong breeze swept over him, causing him to curl into a tighter ball for warmth.

"D͓̱̳̀ḁ͉̱͘m̯̹͚̻̭̠n̜̣̙̱̥̣͘ ̶̳̳͇̘íṯ̡̲͙̺.͜." Anti cursed as he sat up, gently rubbing his throbbing head as he observed his surroundings.

There was nothing to see around him but trees, trees, and more trees.

"I̤̬̠̪̲͙͝ͅ ͔̭̰͡g͓̗̻̳͙͢u̬͙̥̺̫̺͉e̸̹͖s͖̱̘̝͚͡ş͓̬̖ ̬̞̦̳I ̹̗͙̮͚̹b͇e͈͚͔͡t͉͓͞t̶͓̖̙̞̬e̱͔̺̲ŗ͚̗̣̜̣͈̣ ̧̲̲̦f͕̹̠̝į͍n̻͘d̖̪ a̷͙͍̣͈̹̭͈ ̀w̸̹̹̤a̩̻̖̲ỳ̳ ̖̥̼̯͢b҉̭̥̪̖a̬̲͔̝͇̭͕͞c̜̣̜k̢͔ͅ ͕̺͟t̛o̪͖̝͞ͅ ͈̬̗̘̳̥t̙͙̣͙ḫe̟͍͖͚̼̳̠͝ ̣̦̕m̜̘̯̱̪̬̥a͕̘̻̤̝n̝̖̱̫͖o͚͎̝̘̠͘ͅŕ̞̯ ̻̻͔͝t̶̘o͇͟ k͠i̯͖̣͔l͖l̷͔̦͉͓͍̦͓ ̪t̵̠h͉̞̼̳̭͈e̱͕ ̟̥̱͟s͝o̳͎͡n̰͍͓̜̠̹͢ ͈̲̰͈͖o͇̤f̳̹̳͠ ͈͈̖̜͇̲̠͞a̵ ҉̤̝b̦̳̠̻̤̭͢i̖͝t̹̰̺̝ͅc̙͖̥̠̝̦͟h̛̦.͉͇͇̮̳." Anti muttered as he pushed himself up off of the ground before bending down to pick up the knife.

"A̻̬͚t ̘͈͖le̙̜ą̦͔̯̟̹s̗̮̗̤̖͕ṭ͚ ̘͕I͖̹̪ ͕̯̩͖̯́h̲͠a̛͈̫v̤̤̝̘̩̠͠e͠ ̣͔̟̙̜̣̰t̺̠̩͠ͅh̸̞̖͈̺̲̳i̡̯͔s.͚͖" Anti sighed as glanced down at the knife in his hand.

Anti looked up at the bright afternoon sun before he started looking for a way that could possibly lead him back to the manor.

Abruptly Anti paused, contemplating his options.

Instead of searching for a way to the manor, he easily disappeared before reappearing in the manor by Dark.

The room he was in looked like he master bedroom with the queen size bed, plush pillows, and the size alone of the room.

"Didn't you get the hint to get killed by a wolf or something?" Dark huffed in frustration.

"I̛̯ ͘d͍̣͍̥͎̖͙o̷̰̪̰͙̰̪̲n̵̪'̥t ̭t̲͇̟͉̪a̗̯͉͔͇k̥̥̝̼͠e̯͡ ̵̝̹͇̮̣͔h̥̀i̼͕̫̝̗̫̫̕n̥̙̰̮̮͍͔t̰͇͚̫ͅș̭̦̞͡ ̸͉̩w̴e҉͕͕͔̤ḷ͈͖̩̫̤͖l͓͕̯.̭̼̻͓̼̤" Anti shrugged with a grin.

"Look, just leave me alone!" Dark snapped angrily.

"N̮̳̜̟̜o̬͕t̫̬̰̰̩͕̲ ͇̯un͝t͔͙͝i̴͙̝l͈̫͇̗͓̗ͅ ̫̙̜̹̥̭͘y͙̲͎̩̹o͎̖̫̮̭̤̤͝u͔̠͇͕̗̦̳ d̥̦̱͉͕͝ͅi̝̱̦ͅe̞̠̙.̺̘͔̦͎̱̖" Anti countered stubbornly.

"I can't die!" Dark protested.

"I didn't even kill Mark." Dark added sourly.

"w̗̝h͡a̻͡t̠͈̹̺̞̬?̫̺̦̗̰" Anti frowned in confusion.

"I never killed him." Dark explained in a calmer tone.

"W͉̼̙͙h͚͚͉͔̞͕̝o̖̯͠ d̗͇͚͘į͕̹̙d̘͕͖͓?!̮̣̦͕͓" Anti demanded.

"I don't know...no one knows." Dark admitted.

"W̺͕̞͚̙h̶̙̲̦͍̗̞̱o̝ ̜͚͎ͅạ̜̙̳̯r̶͎̟͖̘̱͙e̫̙̖ ̡y̫͔̞o̫̝͢u͕̼?̢̰̝" Anti questioned.

"I told you-"

"No̰̕,̷̲̮̯ ̰͕͙̝̼̭͞ͅw̮͔̹̤̝͙͞h҉̘̺o̙̲͇̘͙̻͠ ̧͙͖̜a̸̮̥̻ṟ̯̮̹͢e ̨y̢̬̮o̜̤̰ͅu̗̣͍̮͈̝̪ ̵̤̜r̯̜̦̯͡e̮̥̻a͕̣̘͎̥̼ͅl͖͇ͅl̙̝̫͍̬͓̣y̴̳̞?" Anti interrupted.

Dark released a long slow sigh as he ran a hand through his hair, perching on the end of the bed.

"Mark's body was found at the bottom of the stairs in the morning after the party. After a long series of events I won't get into, everyone left but the colonel, the detective, and Y/N. The colonel shot the detective for hoarding information about him and his friends before he accidentally shot Y/N since they interfered. After that...Selina and I took over their body with their permission to stop Mark's spirit from causing everyone to come here to die, or worse." Dark recounted, his expression mournful as well as slightly bitter.

Anti sat in silence for a moment as he processed the new information, his gaze betraying his surprise.

"Happy?" Dark, or whoever they really were, huffed in irritation.

"I can't change that, but I can at least get rid of the demon." Dark offered.

Anti paused before glancing over at him, his black eyes filled with betrayal, anger, and hope.

"Trust me." Dark continued before guiding him to a separate room across the hall where the door was already swung wide open.

A/N: sorry for the short chapter, I'm running low on ideas and I'm still kinda busy (I know, lame excuse, but it's true). Anyway, the next chapter should be longer, as well as possibly the last one. I dunno yet honestly.
