Prologue -My Best Friend Is FINALLY Getting Laid

It was the last day of school before the summer holidays. Everyone in Evergreen High was buzzing with energy both students and teacher alike, looking forward to enjoying the days that followed.

The Junior year students were especially hyped and full of light because of the Junior prom that evening. The exams were over but the preparatory program that helped students in selecting the best subjects for the next year was scheduled that day.

Jasper was in his class, fingers drumming and legs bouncing in annoyance and frustration. The teacher at the beginning of class said to keep their phones in the bag as he had something important to say. All Jasper wanted was to take the phone back in his hand and make a call.

He was sighing loudly every five minutes looking at the clock and attracting the attention of his fellow classmates who were confused about his behavior.

However, his best friends were biting back their laughs knowing the exact reason for Jasper's frustration.

"Chill out Jas. The school will be over in approximately uh 300 minutes. Just 5 hours. You will be fine," one of his best friends Raiden whispered looking over his shoulder and laughed to himself.

"Shut it Chapman", Jasper grumbled.

"Wow someone is really eager to meet his bf this time. Is there something we should know about? , "His other friend Clayton asked suspiciously from the desk beside him.

"Yeah does that mean our best friend is finally getting laid?", Raiden inquired turning towards Jasper's desk. Both of them narrowing their eyes watching his every move.

At that comment Jasper's fingers immediately stopped drumming; his face turned bright red making them gasp back in surprise.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!", Raiden shouted raising from his chair attracting the attention of all the students and the teacher. Jasper and Clayton looked at each other and facepalmed.

A loud throat clearing from the front of the class made Raiden's eyes widen in realization. "What is he still doing here?", he mumbled under his breath and turned towards the teacher at the Dais and grinned cheekily.

"Hey, Mr.K What's the plan for the summer?" He asked casually.

The teacher ignored that, "Is there something you want to share with us Mr.Clapham", he raised his eyebrow.

"Chapman. Raiden Chapman", he grinned, "Your honor", bowing his head slightly.

Jasper and Clayton looked at each other and rolled their eyes since they were used to Raiden's behavior already.

However, the teacher did not seem to be phased by this behavior. He nodded, slightly amused but kept his face neutral.

"So Mr. Chapman Raiden Chapman. A big name if you ask me."Raiden face dropped a bit."Is there something to want to share with us?"

"Yes sir", Raiden nodded excitedly, "My best Friend is FINALLY getting laid."

Jasper cursed under his breath and kicked Raiden's chair making him bump into his desk table.

Raiden frowned rubbing his invisible wounds, "Not cool man."

His teacher nodded understandingly looking at Jasper "Congratulation Mr.Fleming " which made Jasper face a shade darker and smile awkwardly in response. Raiden snickered seeing his friend's reaction.

"And you Mr.Chapman, look forward in spending the first week of your senior year in detention."

"What? That's not fair."

"All is fair in love and war Mr.Chapman, "Mr.K replied turning his towards the green board.

"But that is not Love or war!."

"My point exactly. Now will you take the seat or do you want me to extend your senior year honeymoon to a month?" the teacher asked raising his eyebrow

Raiden grumbled under his breath and sat back in his chair huffing, "Good work, man," Clayton laughed along with his classmates.

"Okay, Students", the teacher interrupted loudly gathering everyone's attention back to him."As I was saying before we knew about Mr.Felming getting laid, the elective subjects are..."

Jasper tuned out of the class not bothering to listen as he had already chosen his elective subjects. His mind traveled to his handsome boyfriend, the love of his life and how they were going to spend the summer together without any interruptions.

Their plan was simple. Spend their the Junior prom here. Fly back to his boyfriend's school help him finish his finals then attend their second prom together there and take on a road trip.

He has some plans to spend with his family of course. But more than 90% of the holiday will be just the two of them.

After enduring what felt like the longest 20 minutes of his life Jasper heard the bell ring and sighed in relief. He only then noted that the teacher was already gone and took the backpack that he kept under his desk.

He was searching for the phone he kept there, which seemed to be extending like Hermione's bag.

"So Myles is on his way I assume. Man, I cannot wait to meet him finally. He must have boarded his plane already ", Clayton asked.

"I think so. His flight was about 30 minutes ago," He said finally finding his phone."Oh, thank fuck".

"Okay, We can't wait to see the guy who made the school's Golden boy whipped," Raiden patted his friends' shoulder taking his phone from his pocket and showing something to Clayton.

Jasper shot him look and unlocked his phone."What the", He trailed his facing losing color as he looked at the number of missed calls in his phone in the last 30 minutes.

He had 24missed calls.10 from his boyfriend, 7 from his mom and 7 from his dad.

"Oh my god," Fearing the worst he dialed to his boyfriend only for it to go straight to voicemail.

He then tried to his mom his hands shaking in fear and sighed in relief as the call answered at the first ring.

"Mom, what's going on?", he said snapping his friends' attention towards him.

Jasper faced lost some more color hearing his mom sobbing.

"Mom! Mom Please tell me what is going on! ", Jasper shouted at the phone.

His friends and some of his classmate moved towards his desk hearing this.

"Dude"

"Jas"

"Is everything okay?"

Jasper didn't bother responding to his classmates as he was too busy in deciphering the words his mom was sobbing, "Oh god, what more does my baby have to go through in his life."

He heard some ruffling sound the other end."Jasper. Son is that you?", He then heard his father asking from the other side.

"Yeah, Dad it's me. Just- please tell me what's going?", he asked desperately, "Tell me, He is alright".

His best friends glanced at each other knowing exactly whom he is referring to.

"No Jasper, This is about Kathyleen."

"What? she was fine last night", Jasper said in confusion.

"Yes son, since you were not picking up the phone he-Just take your car and come to the airport. We have your stuff packed. I already called your principal. You just d-"

"Okay, dad. I am on my way", Jasper interrupted picking up his belongings and stuffing in his bag. He hung up the calls stuffing his phone in the back and took his car keys.

"Jasper what going on," Clayton touched his friend's shoulder making Jasper flinch and look back at him only to realize most of his classmates are looking at him in question.

"Is Myles okay?", Raiden asked softly all his humor lost.

"What? No Myles is perfectly okay", Jasper replied, bolting out of the class."He should be okay." He mumbled to himself.

"Jasper! Wait. We are coming with you! "His friends followed him out of the class but stopped by the principal in the corridor.

"Back to your class Mr.Chapman, Mr.Baker," the principal said nodding towards the classroom.

They looked around to find Jasper was already gone.

"But!"Raiden exclaimed in frustration.

"Come on, We can sneak out during next break ", Clay whispered to Raiden pushing him by the shoulder towards the room who nodded in response cursing the principal under his breath.

Little did they know that will the last time they see their best friend that summer.
