I am outside Mew's Office when I remember all those eyes earlier.

I was thinking, is it that big of a deal when Elise calls me Brother? What if they know my relationship with their President Mew and Corporation Chairman Luke Ayutthaya? I think it will be huge news! What should I do then? I don't want to be in the spotlight!

I don't understand why people like to talk about other people's lives. Can't they mind their own business? I entered Mew's office to see Elise standing in front of me. Her beautiful eyes glared, raised eyebrows, and arms intertwined in front of her chest.

"Brother Gulf, Explain! Now!" Elise seriously said.

"Is your brother Mew haven't told you anything yet?" I asked her, and then I glared at Mew, but he shrugged his shoulder and showed his annoying smile. This guy is something! Annoying something! Look at him, smiling like an idiot there! He seems to be enjoying this!

"Okay! Let me explain, don't be sulky na, na, na, na!" I went near Elise and guided her to sit on the sofa; her expression was now normal.

"I asked Auntie Vanessa's permission for me to work here, to experience how to work in this industry. Your brother Gulf doesn't like being unprepared for everything, remember!" I said to her.

"Okay, but still, it doesn't explain why you called me Ma'am!" she exclaimed.

"You called our princess, Ma'am? Gulf?" Mew suddenly speaks. I glared at him, and he returned to face his work.

"About that, I've decided to make who I am to your family in this company a secret, especially to all those people outside, though. I want to be a working student who wants to have my training here." Elise looks so confused about what I have said.

"But why, brother Gulf? Why keep it a secret if someday you will work here and not just work but also own part of it? It's a hassle for you to do this. I mean, you must pretend and be careful all the time, and surprisingly, Mom agrees to this, and what? Do you work under him? (She pointed to Mew), it should be vice versa. You are more responsible than him!" Mew was about to react to this, but Elise glared at him.

"Why? Am I wrong?" Then again, Mew just decided to shut up. He can't contrast anything that our princess is saying. Elise, face me again.

"Seriously, an assistant? You know you can have and be in any much higher position than this! You have the shares. You can be like Brother Mew! You can be a president too. So why choose this as assistant of that guy?" Mew laughs at her sister.

"Ahh, it's a long story, hahaha, and regarding me working under Mew, you already know I can handle him, right? He's no match to me!" I said so proudly at her. Mew was about to react again, but I glared at him. He just shut up and listened to us.

"Hahaha, true!" Elise said.

"Your brother Mew is always under me! Always!" I said.

"What did you say, Gulf?" This time, Mew got up from his seat and went to us.

"Why? Did I say something wrong? Do you have something to say about that? Do you want me to talk again to Auntie about something you know?" I said to him. There he was, raising both arms and admitting his loss! He went back to his table, looking like a puppy again. Mew is the submissive guy, especially if you have something on him, which I have!

"Okay! Okay! If you say so! I can never win with the two of you!" He sounded sad and defeated as he sat back in his swivel chair.

"Good thing you know!" I said to him, and then I faced Elise again.

"Haha, what about it, bro?" Elise asked. I think she is curious about what I will say to Auntie.

"Nothing Princess. Anyways, why are you here in the office? I thought you didn't like it here. What changes?" I asked her. When Mew was announced as INF president, the venue was in this building; I literally had to drag her to come.

"Ahh, Brother Marcus invited me for later." She said. Has he invited her for what? I don't remember anything that will happen later. I know Mew's schedule as his assistant.

"What's for later?" I asked. Are there some events that I don't know about?

"Ahh, we will go later to an amusement park with Allyssa. Allyssa wants to have their date there, and as usual, Brother Marcus complies with it even though he hates that place!" Then Elise laughs at him.

Mew just glared at Elise, yes. Mew hates that place. He has an extreme fear of heights, which is why he doesn't have a window in his office. Mew is on the 15th floor, for god's sake! Also, because he was an introvert, he didn't like to be in public or with so many people. It's shocking knowing he is a big company president, but that's who he is. Very different from Allyssa, who loves to be in the spotlight.

"So, it's their date? But why do you need to be there?" I asked Elise.

"That's what I said to him! Do they think I look like or was born to be a third wheel? My dear brother, Marcus Evan Wayne! Can I not go? I still have somewhere else to go today! Please?" Elise pleaded with her brother. I laugh, looking at her. She seems so discouraged from joining his brother on his so-called date.

"No! You're joining us! What if she wants to ride those freaking rides like the Ferris wheel or that roller something? I cannot let Allyssa be alone there! Never!" Mew said, almost shouting at us.

"Brother!" Elise also shouted. She hates when someone yells at her like that, so Mew realizes what he did after a few seconds and his expression changes.

"Sorry, princess, I didn't mean to yell. Please join us!" Mew pleadingly asked his sister.

Fuck! These two siblings are so fucking cute! Elise looks calm now. She stands from her seat and goes to Mew.

"Okay, if that's what you want, just buy me many bags for this." Mew stands and faces her. He patted her head as he said this.

"Okay, Princess, anything for you!" These two siblings were so silly. I laugh a little while watching them.

After I gave Mew the report from the finance department, I was about to step out of the room when Elise spoke.

"Brother Deon. Please join us!" What?

"What is it again, Princess?" I didn't seem to hear it right!

"Join us!" She said with a matching big smile on her beautiful face.

What the fuck! All I can do now is look shocked. I know this kid; if she wants something, she will not stop until she gets it. It will be a long excuse for me to skip this. I don't want to join them.

I'm crazy to join them and watch Mew and Allyssa love each other!

After many excuses, I still end up in the car with Mew and Elise. On the way to Allyssa's studio to fetch her.

I really can't say no to this girl! I already said so many excuses.

1. I must do my assignments - she just said I could do it after.

2. I must sleep early, and I never stayed late before - she just said there are first times in everything.

3. I'm afraid of rides - she just said, I must face my fears, and she will be with me, so I don't have to be scared.

So, on and so on, but still! Lord, please give me the strength to get through this night.

I just pretended to be asleep. After a few minutes on the ride, Elise spoke.

"Brother Mew! How is Sister Allyssa? It's been. I don't know how many days since I last saw her ahh. Is she hiding from me?"

"Of course not! Princess, your sister Allyssa was just busy with her career. It's the first time we will see each other after the anniversary of Mom and Dad. She is so busy! Both of us are so busy. You know her performance is near, so her schedule was so strict." I remained still and continued to listen to their conversation.

"Ahh, okay, but serious question. Are you sure about Allyssa? I mean, is she the one?" I was shocked by Elise's question. Why did she ask that, Mew?

"What do you mean by that, princess?"

"Brother Mew, because I have eyes! I can see things. I know you, brother Mew! You're so much like dad. You two are both so family oriented. I know you want to settle before you become 30. I know your dream is to have your own family, but I don't see that with Allyssa. She has other plans don't you see that? Her priorities are so different from yours. Sister Allyssa is so much like me. We love our careers so much; it's our priority in life. I will tell you now, brother. It will not work! You and Allyssa aren't compatible with each other."

"No! That's not true, princess; I'm sure she loves me! I know she also wants to have her own family with me. Maybe she's just busy with her career now, but in time you will see everything will be okay between us. I know she's the one!" I heard Elise's loud sigh. Is it really okay for me to listen to them?

"I know she loves you but is that enough? What if you want to settle already? Will she be able to give up everything just for you or vice versa? Are you willing to give up everything just for her? I can see that she loves you but not the same as your love for her. Maybe a thousandfold! You know how much I love you, brother! All I want is for you to be happy. I'm always on your side!"

"I'm happy, princess. Allyssa and I are happy! You don't have to worry about us." I can imagine Mew's face while trying to defend his relationship with Allyssa to his sister.

"Are you sure, Brother? Are you happy? As in over the moon happy?" Elise asks back Mew. This time, a long-time of silence has passed.

Mew? Why aren't you answering Elise's question? Are you happy? Suddenly I felt our car stop. Maybe we had already arrived at Allyssa's studio.

"Hi, Love? I'm sorry, did I make you wait? My manager does not allow me to go out, so I sneak out. I missed you." I decided to pretend that I had just woken up.

"See, I told you!" I heard Elise say to Mew, He just ignored her, but I think Allyssa didn't listen to her.

"Hi Elise, Hi Gulf!" She greeted us.

"Hi, Ally!" I welcomed back.

"Hi, Sis!" Elise greeted back.

"Let's go?" Mew asked us.

"Yey, I'm so excited. it's my first time going to theme parks!" Allyssa answer.

As we continue our journey, why do I feel like I now have the opportunity? Lord! Would you mind helping me? I don't want to hope again and then be hurt by disappointment, but I can't help it. Is it wrong for me to hope?
