Two weeks after I asked Auntie to let me work as an Assistant here at INF, Uncle and Mew immediately agreed to it. Forthwith, they wanted me to work here in their company, especially Uncle. He said he was happy that he could finally fulfill my dad's wish. They are such best friends, just like my mom and Auntie Vanessa. Marcus doesn't have complaints about this because it will also benefit him.

That man! Anything for him and Allyssa to have more time with each other, he will always agree. He knows that with me by his side as his assistant, I can help him with things in his work, and it means he can have more time to spare for Allyssa. At first, Uncle and Mew don't agree that I am just an assistant, but because I already pursued Auntie, she's the one who sought the two. I already mentioned this! Auntie is the law!

Anyways, it's been almost two weeks since I started to work here at Marcus's Company INF. I can say that everything is going well, especially with my plan to help Mew. I was able to help him with many kinds of stuff already. I go to the office every day, but I usually start after lunch because I still have classes to attend every morning. All the people on our floor know I'm the new assistant in training. When did they know I was under Mew, the president? They all said the same thing, "Good luck."

They all said I must prepare myself because it would be hard for me. Mew is a workaholic, so much so that he always stayed at the office overnight. As his assistant, I must do it also. One time, we had to stay at the office even if it was already late in the evening, and their usual office hours were only up to 5 pm.

They also describe him as the coldest boss because he is always in business mode. He never smiles or treats other people other than being a workmate. He is civil with them, but that is just it. One time, I saw a group of employees greet Mew, but he just walked past them. I apologized to them, and they said they were used to it already.

I guess they haven't seen Allyssa here. Marcus transformed to be the sweetest person whenever he was with Allyssa. I knew Mew! He's like that to that person to whom he was not close. But if you will know him. You will surely fall in love with him like me, crazy in love with that cold guy!

Mew is very caring and gentle to everyone he considers as family and friends, but not to me. He always breaks my heart. He may not know it because I never told him! If I told him? Will our situation change? Can he love me too, just like how much I love him? I don't think so!

I also noticed how Marcus focuses on his work. You can never try to talk to him whenever he is in front of his computer because he will never answer. He doesn't notice other things at all besides his coding works. Sometimes I want to smack Mew because of this side of him. I proved that when there is a moment that I need to consult him on something, I already called him so many times, but he still didn't respond to my call at all, I thought he was ignoring me, but Mew said he didn't hear me at all.

Weird right? That is why I create a rule for him that whenever it's 2:00 pm, he must stop anything he is doing, whether essential or not. He must stop so that he can have his lunch. I tried noon, but he always has important meetings during those times because of the time difference between those people he must meet. When it's already 7 pm, he must go home if he doesn't have critical work. I will be the one who will determine if it's an essential item, or else he will face my wrath! He knows me; he does not want to face that side of me again.

It's a good thing also that he has a tinted glass wall. I can usually treat him as my best friend whenever we are inside his office. I can't do that if we're outside. I must treat Marcus as my boss. By doing this, I can ensure he will not be sick again!

He already coordinated these rules with his secretary Ms. Anne but, of course, excluded me from the picture of that rule. His secretary is so happy because she can now go home early. I did a good job making this decision to work here.

I'm still trying to ignore my feelings for him, and I'm doing it well. I try my best not to be affected by Allyssa anymore. I can't do anything about it, so why bother? I go with the flow. What matters is that I can finally take care of Marcus!

I was busy doing some research when my intercom rang. Yeah, I have an intercom on my table, and It's connected with Mew's office. It's here for Mew to reach me or give orders to his assistant faster. It was here even before I joined the company, and I heard every table on the president's floor has this.

"Yes, Sir?" I said after I answered the intercom call.

"Hi Gulf, can you bring me last month's budget report? You can get it from the finance department on the 3rd floor. Thank you!"

"Okay, sir, noted!" I immediately got up from my chair and went to Finance Department, but as I checked the time, it was already 1:30 in the afternoon. I forgot I hadn't gotten the food for Mew. So, I decided to go down first to the ground floor to fetch some lunch and then to the finance department on the 3rd floor.

After 15 minutes, I got Mew's Lunch from a nearby restaurant. I run to the office; I must arrive at Mew's office before 2 pm. As I was waiting for the elevator, Suddenly, someone hugged me from behind.

"Brother Gulf!" Elise said, almost like a shout.

"Elise! It's you!" I immediately hugged her back! How I missed this girl! Fuck! I forgot where I am! Did they hear her? I already noticed Elise caught many other employees' attention.

"Ma'am Elise, sorry I didn't notice you! " I spoke in a high voice so the employees around could hear me say the word, Ma'am. Please forget the scene earlier. Please!

Elise looks so confused right now, maybe because I called her Ma'am.

"Brother, What..." I didn't let her finish.

"Yes, Ma'am Elise?" I spoke loudly again.

I gave Elise eyes and a hand gesture saying, 'Please quit it, Elise!' I will tell you everything later. Please don't speak anymore. We urgently stepped on the elevator once it was opened. Elise was so confused, but she complied with my moves.

Good Girl!

"Brother Gulf, why did you call me Ma'am? Since when I became a Ma'am! Gosh! It's so awful! You know how I hate that! I'm still very young to be called Ma'am!" She sounded like she was sulking again! This adorable girl is frowning! I can't help but caress her hair which she hated more.

"Brother Gulf! Stop messing with my hair! My manager will kill me if she sees my hair is messy again!" She complained! She's so cute that I can't stop treating her like a baby.

"Sorry, I will tell you everything later. I guess Auntie Vanessa, Uncle Luke, and even your brother Mew haven't told you about my situation here in INF yet. Would you mind going first to his office? I will tell you everything later. I need to go first on the 3rd floor to do something." I gave her Mew's lunch.

"Here! Take this! It's your Brother Mew's food. Make sure he ate it!" She still looks confused but still receives it.

"Okay, Brother! Remember! You must tell me everything, okay!" She spoke. I smiled at her before responding. She even asks me to do a pinky swear with her.

"Yup, promise!" I said to her as we swear it.

"Okay. See you!" I got out on the 3rd floor; I was walking to get to the Finance Department. I could see many people were looking at me!

Fuck! Did they know what happened on the ground floor? Please no! I don't want to reveal who I am yet! It's the main reason I don't want them to know who I am. I don't wish Mew's employees to treat me like I'm not an ordinary person because, for me, I am!

I don't want this kind of spotlight! I'm not an introvert like Mew, but this is different!

What should I do now?

It sucks to be me!
