Gideon POV

It's been a year ever since that unexpected intimate day happened. I'm currently here at our condo because I feel so sick today that I choose not to go to the office and just rest for the day.

Yep, It's ours, Mew, and mine! Shocking right? So many things have changed between us, Mew and me.

Between us, like now, we lived together and slept on the same bed. If others see us together, they will assume that we are together or have an official relationship, but we are not. We don't label our relationship; I'd like to, but I think Mew is not ready yet, and I can accept it as long as we are together. We both know we have each other. It's enough for me.

To me, I started to gradually be vocal to Mew about how much I care for him. I haven't said I love him because I'm still afraid to overwhelm him. I'm so scared of being rejected, so I'm okay with our setup. I believe if he sees my actions towards him and how much I care for him, he will start to notice me.

To Mew, I can see that he has changed so much ever since Allyssa left him. He became suspicious of everyone, as in everyone, even me. Like everyone around him will lie to him and leave him behind as Allyssa did, so as his defense, Mew never again gives anyone his complete trust. I know he doesn't want to be like that, but it's just him now, and we can't do anything about it. I tried to ignore it and make sure that I constantly proved to him that I was not Allyssa. I will never leave him and lie to him.

Mew became very outgoing from being an introverted person before. He told me that he realized that his life revolved only around Allyssa and his work, and he regrets it so much. He said that he had to change for himself, but I think it is because he thinks being an introverted person is why Allyssa left him. Allyssa left him because Mew is a boring person, so now he changes his life so much that he becomes very friendly to everyone, especially girls, which made me so jealous all the time, but I tried to keep it to myself because I didn't want to hinder him with his wants. Suppose that's what he wants to be right now. All I can do is support him and continue to be with him no matter what.

After that day at the resort, our relationship became so complicated. I love him, I can feel that he loves or cares for me too, but we are still not admitting it. I can still remember that day at the resort when we woke up after what we did. I am in our room, trying my best to sleep, but I can't help thinking about our journey again for the last year.

That thing that we did? I can't count anymore how many times we did it. Sometimes in our room, sometimes in the other parts of the house, and even in his office. It confuses me as to what is the actual score between us, I do not want to spoil it. I go with the flow as long as we're happy.

Until now, I'm still Secretly loving my best friend, but I'm okay with it.

I woke up from the sudden sound of the alarm. I'm still sleeping in Mew's arms while his other arm is hugging me from behind. I carefully removed his arm around me and checked the time.

6:00 AM

Okay, we still have two hours before we need to go to the office. I stood up and went to the kitchen. I need to prepare our breakfast first before fixing myself. It's been my daily routine since I decided to live here with Mew. I wake up on time, usually wake up around 6 in the morning to prepare breakfast, then I will fix Mew's suit for the office. After that, I will shower, then I will wake Mew up. Maybe someone who will know about this part of my life is curious why I haven't woken Mew at the same time as me. I tried before, but he was so grumpy whenever I tried. He will always complain that his sleep is not yet enough, so I just let him. I just made sure that everything was ready when we woke up.

Now I'm done making our breakfast. I just prepared some fruits with Fried eggs with a sandwich, corn, and sausages. He likes his breakfast heavily then I proceed to take a shower.

When showering did, now is the time to wake this grumpy guy.

"Mew, wake up! It's time to wake up." I said to him while I was shaking his shoulder.

"Uhm, five more minutes, Gulf! Please! 5 minutes." He pleads while still having his eyes closed.

"Mew, please, you need to wake up or else you'll be late, which you don't want to happen, right? You have a client meeting later, right? Please wake up. Mew na na na" I'm still shaking his shoulders, then suddenly he pulled me and made me lay still beside him. He hugged me tightly while we were both lying on the bed.

I'm now lying at his bedside while he is at mine. He rests his head on my left shoulder and continues to sleep.

"Mew, I said wake up, you're going to be late for your client meeting. You know how important it is, right?" I tried waking him again.

"Please, Gulf! I'm still sleepy! You know I hadn't had enough sleep last night." He said right into my ears, but still, his eyes were closed.

Is it serious? And who's fault is that? I already told him that we couldn't, but he still insisted. He keeps saying that It's been a long time since we did it. Are two days that long? We can't do it because I'm sick and don't want him to be ill too; when he knew I was not sick last night, he begged me again to do it. This sex monster!

I, who can't ever say no to him, open my legs right on the spot for him and let him fuck me through the night. Thankfully, it didn't become like what happened last time when we had sex the whole night. I don't know how many rounds we had that I became sick the following day that night!

Oh gosh, my heart is pounding loudly again! Heart! Please stop beating so loud because this man beside me might hear you. You know we haven't told him our secret.

"Mew, please wake up! please na na na!" I shake his shoulder softly.

"Uhh, You're so persistent, Gulf! Okay! I will wake up!" He removed his arm, so I immediately got off the bed and stood before him. Mew raised his arms to me, which meant I needed to help him stand up. This guy is lazy and acts like a kid sometimes, but I love that it always made me smile widely. He stands up but still, his eyes close, and he looks sleepy. I don't know what time he slept cause after our 3rd round last night, I gave up and fell deeply asleep. I guess he cleaned me because I have fresh clothes now. Also, our comforter is different.

"Okay, take a shower now while I will prepare your things. We'll have breakfast together." I said to him.

"Okay, Mom, I will!" He said and smiled playfully.

I was about to walk away from him, but he stopped me and was shocked when he kissed me on my cheeks, then he proceeded to go to our bathroom, while me? I remained speechless and shocked by what he did. He never did that before! Yes, we kissed before, but never like that. We almost look like a real couple!

"Did he just kiss me?" I asked myself.

We just got here at the office together. We are still on the ground waiting for the elevator to open for us. No one is making a malice issue about it even if they always saw us together, acting like a child and being playful with each other because they already know that I was Mew's best friend.

They are starting to accept me as their boss. It's not that they can't choose because I'm the COO, but as per Ms. Anne. Most employees like me because of the changes they noticed once I became this company's new Chief Operating Officer. I implemented many policies to help the employee have a balanced work life. I always believe that If you want your people to do their best for you, you must give them the best.

I'm not allowing overtime work unless it is essential. I added many benefits for them, like increasing their medical coverage, insurance, and other vacation plans! Even other subsidiary companies of Ayutthaya incorporated my changes too in their policy. All in all, all our employees are so happy about it.

At the same time, I always did my best for this company but, most importantly, for Mew. I know how much effort he gave to this company, so I will never let it go to waste as long as I'm here.

"Good Morning Sir Gideon, Good Morning Sir Marcus." The elevator girl greeted us. We have our elevator here. It's exclusive to me, Mew, and his family. The door was about to close when Mew asked the elevator girl something.

"Hi, Ms. I'm sorry, but can you get off the elevator, please!" Mew asked her. The elevator girl is confused about why Mew suddenly asked her to leave, but she doesn't have a choice but to oblige. After the elevator girl went out, I was about to ask him his reason, but when I faced him, I was shocked when he suddenly pinned me to the elevator wall and kissed me hungrily.

Oh gosh!

"Uhh, Mew, what are you doing uhh~!" I said to him. I can't help but moan because of the sensation he is giving me. He started kissing my neck, then going to my shoulder while attempting to remove my necktie.

"Uhh~ Uhh~ Uhh~!" It is heaven, but I need to stop him.

"Mew, someone will see us! Ahh~!" I said when I tried to push him away. He looks at me, looking so hungry and lustful. We did this last night, but it seemed like he hadn't had enough.

"Don't worry! We are not yet on the top floor. No one will see us." He continues to kiss my neck, going to my ear lobe. Gosh! I need to stop him! I need to stop him!

"But Mew, ahhh, we are about to get off! Uhh, ~ Mew!" I said to him. Oh my! What if someone saw us?

"Please, Gulf! I haven't had enough last night. Please! I want this! I want you!" He sounded so hungry.

"Mew, we really can't, but we can after your meeting!" I said without thinking. All I know is that I have to say this for him to let go of me. I was successful because he had already let go of my neck and faced me.

"You promise!" He looks so happy like he won something big.

"Promise!" I said while smiling at him. He lets go of me, then returns to my side while I fix my suit. Ding! The sound of the elevator signaled that we were now on our floor. We immediately get off the elevator and go to our own offices.

"See you later, Gulf!" He whispered to me seductively when we were about to separate our ways because my office was right beside his. I just nodded as an answer, and it indeed made him so happy, judging how big his smile was! I guess I had to be ready for Mr. Hungry later.

God Mew! What are you doing to me?
