Dear Diary,

They say that a best friend is the person you value above other friends in your life. Someone you have fun with. Someone you trust and someone in whom you confide. The first person you call when you get good news or want to go out for a bite.

It is rare to find a geniune person that you can share your triumphs. The person who will be there through your ups and down.

Eventually, I found that person.

Karl Zanford, my Bestfriend.

We met way back when we were 6 years old. We were childhood friends. Both of our parents are super close. Dun ko siya unang nakilala. Bumisita kami sa house nila with my parents for their reunion.

I remember the first time I saw him. He's wearing his favorite shirt, Dark Vader of Star Wars, Black hair, makinis ang kaniyang balat na halatang alaga talaga, he has black eyes and nice black hair.

I was a shy girl back then. Wearing my favorite pink dress with pigtails on it. Fair skin.

I was a little distant with other people that's why I had no friends back then. Until the day he approached me. I was sitting around the corner of their house. Minding my own business. admiring the beauty of their house and surroundings. Suddenly, he showed up right in front of me. He introduce himself and he asked me if I want to play with him. And I said Yes.

He grabbed my hand and took me at their backyard and he said he will take me to his favorite place in the whole wide world - His treehouse. It was beautiful. The treehouse He helped me climbed into the treehouse. was at least 10 ft. from the ground. The view was awesome when we reached the top.

He told me that his treehouse is like a safe haven to him. He would always be at peace when he was always having a bad day.

I agree with him. This place seems really relaxing. I am starting to like his treehouse.

That was the day when our friendship has begun. We did lots of things. He taught me how to play some board games and other "playhouse" games.

That was the day that I met my bestfriend.

As days has passed, I would go over again to his house to play with him. We became really close.

Our treehouse is like a our kingdom.

He's the King while I'm his Queen

From that moment, we swore that we will always protect each other.
